All cookies were good but my favorites were the chocolate peanut butter cup (for real peanut butter lovers)and confetti cookies. So delicious!It is in the downtown area so parking is limited.

Ive been addicted to these cookies for 3 years. We make the drive to get them every few months. Totally worth the drive.

Yummy cookies and friendly staff!

This was my second time going to this location. The first time I got my 4 year old the confetti deluxe and she fell in love. The second time I went kind of late, so they were unfortunately out. I asked them if they could press some sprinkles into a regular sugar cookie so that she would still have her sprinkles. To my surprise they did it and didn’t mind at all. On top of that it’s super hard to choose which cookies to get but they are always so nice and helpful. Great cookies and even better customer service. 10/10 recommend going here!

Ok these cookies are great and priced to allow you to buy enough to share. We usually swing by a local restaurant here in San Marcos, have a nice dinner and finish it off with gooey freshly baked cookies. Can’t go wrong... the even have some bluebell ice cream if you like a good topper. Great stop!!

I would have rated 5 stars as the cookies and ice cream were delicious but the atmosphere was very negative as there were 2 employees continuously screaming and cursing in the back of house. The girl at the register was very polite and sweet as was another gentleman that came to tell us one of the cookies we ordered were sold out but those other two employees completely ruined our visit. I understand if youre unhappy working in an establishment that requires you to do your job but cursing about making something thats on the menu isnt necessary especially in front of paying customers.

The cookies were sooooo good!!! There was a little wait but considering how busy they were, it wasnt bad at all. They cookies were still soft the next day. Perfect late night snack!

All these one star reviews are literally the only review that the posters made. If you write a negative review and its only 1 or a few but they are all negative I find it invalid as you may be an angry soul in general. That being said this place DOES get busy. This place is tiny and the girl at the register was definitely having an anxiety attack. The amount of customers crammed into such a TINY area is terrible and uncomfortable. No parking and of course eat to many college kids being obnoxious. But when you take away all these aspects. The cookies melt in your mouth they are super soft and so delicious. The right amount of sweet and the taste of a little salt to balance it out. Absolutely must try. Despite everything wrong with this place you have to understand that its packed for a reason the cookies are to die for.

Great cookie / ice cream gem in small shop between night life activity. 4 person max at a time due to COVID - no seating and bathroom closed, but the warm cookies and milk offer is too delicious to pass up. Pass up the expensive dessert at the nearby restaurant and pick up some fresh baked cookies, soft and warm from this place! You wont be disappointed.

It cost almost $5 and the girl at the counter was very rude and even made it clear that she didnt want anyone coming in. I got the deluxe chocolate chunk cookie. I would say save your money and get a cookie from Chick-fil-A.

Received a delivery order and my cookies are literally crumbs. It’s like they threw them in the box. Only 2 cookies are an actual circle but even then they are doughey....I usually enjoy receiving cookies from this place so not sure what went wrong tonight and why they decided to deliver this to me this way.

I had a cookie and ice cream and both were very good.

Ordered my cookies and stuff at 8:30 pm called the store at 9:00 was told the delivery driver was to be at the store to pick up the order by 9:10 and should be to me by 9:30 called again at 10:00 and the person on the phone was rude and unhelpful still got the same answer about them being here in 30 minutes. It’s now late in the night and I still have yet to get my cookies. Would not recommend ordering from this place and expecting any decent results on delivery time not to mention the cookies are not worth the price save your money bake your own cookies from Walmart

Theyll deliver 12 minutes away up 35 but not 6 minutes away here at Dakota Ranch. Cookies are great but seriously, redraw your radius.

They delivered my cookies almost an hour late but it was soooo worth the wait!!!! The cookies were DELICIOUS. This is definitely one of those things I’d recommend planning ahead for, especially since you should be prepared for them to deliver late like they did for me, but they are a perfect late night snack and I’ll definitely be ordering again :)

BEST COOKIES! Insomnia is great because they are open til 3am! But with COVID they are now sadly only open til 12am but they’re doing discounts all the time now! I got $10 off my order of $20 or more this past week. The m&m, and chocolate chip is by far my favorite because they are simple and not too too sweet!

As a Mom sending cookies, I recommend this place. They did an excellent job. Delivered warm cookies in just 15 minutes and the delivery person made certain my son answered his door for the “contactless” delivery. Will order again soon !

Went there when they had a special holiday limited time cookie for sale, and they told me it would take too long for them to cook and basically asked me to leave. The cookie would have been at least $20. I visited the store at about 7pm. I proceeded to HEB and bought a $2 cookie mix so I could make the same cookie at home. Once I finished cooking it, I noticed it took less time to go to HEB and go home to cook it than they said it would take to cook at their store.

Took over 2 hours for delivery. Cold cookies. I was expecting a great cookie for the price.

The cookies are delicious and they serve Blue Bell Ice Cream. I had chocolate ice cream smothered between two chocolate chip cookies and it was awesome! Its rather small inside so dont plan on having a chair if there is more than 3-4 people inside.

Ive been waiting almost two hours for a small order and I live 2 miles away from the store this is a first time experience for me and I wont be ordering from insomnia again if they take this long for a simple order.

Although this location is a little hard to find, that fact alone keeps it from being packed at all times. I absolutely love the menu and the options of cookie flavors. Theyre amazing everytime. Customer service is great and another reason why i come so frequently. Delivery is available, which i think is pretty cool.

Love this place, I always go late night when other places are closed. Their cookies are warm and delicious, and their ice cream is good as well. I wish they had more ice cream flavors though, their options are limited. The only negative I can think of with this place, their milk is a complete rip off. Over $3 dollars for a little container of milk, and you could buy an entire gallon at a grocery store for that.

It serves its purpose. It caters to people who want ice cream in the middle of the night. Based on when it closes, its for people getting out of a bar. Honestly, that seems cool..if you are just getting out of a bar. Bring cash to tip and remember that the employees will generally not have time to talk.

Great place for cookies and milk. Their ice cream is great and its definitely worth the price! Super long lines if you go late on a weekend though.Pro tip: To avoid the line you can have it delivered to their address so that they bring it out to you when its ready! It cost a little extra but if you call ahead and have a few people its definitely worth it.

Nice when u have a late night craving. Delivery area is small so makes it to where u have to drive a bit to get to the cookies*That could be a goid thing for some* but its in midtown so its convenient to access off of most highways. Need to add more varieties of cookies...or switch out more frequently but all in all a good idea

Great tasting cookies and ice cream

The convenience is very nice after coming off the square however the service is awful. We were waiting for literally 45 minutes or more for them to bring out 2 cookies that they said would take only 5 minutes. Several employees passed us by and looked at us without even speaking to us. Other people came and went with similar orders as well with them having no wait. When we finally got our cookies it was by posing as new customers and they (the cookies) turned out cold and hard and old. Very upset at the service here.

My bf and I went in yesterday and i agree with the majority of the reviews. the cookies are just okay, subway has equally just as good as cookies and more variety. Aside from that, the ladies at the front werent really friendly, not rude but just didnt seem happy to be there. we came in bubbly and in a great mood and they were just kind of awkard, not a hello or anything, of course the minute we were done ordering, they went right back to sitting down and laughing and talking it up in their own conversation. customer service needs improving and we need more variety of cookies if we are paying a 1.60 for one when we can get two for that price at subway with the same quality and tastiness. Probably wont go back.

This place is still new so its extra busy. There is a wait most of the time but the up side is you get fresh cookies. I prefer the peanut butter over the chocolate chip cookies. The CC cookies are just average.

We walked in, and did not receive a greeting.. when asked “what can i help you with” i let her know we have never been here before and she stood there in silence. Good cookies. Very pricey. Idk what atomoshpere people are talking about. There is nothing inside?Door says 9, came in at 930 and they told me they dont open till 10. They made me sit there. Then went to pay and they wouldnt accept a $50 bill when my bill was $30. Poor girl said she would get into trouble and her manager has screamed at her before, for doing that. Made me drive to the bank because they couldnt spare a 20.

Quick service. Nothing over the top. Cookies arent as good as store brought premade in my opinion but theyre heated up when you purchase them so thats nice. Decent price also. If youre in the mood for a cookie, its super late, and youre not a baker theyre the place for you!

Let’s just say wow. You can get just one or order in batches, huge boxes full of some of the most impressive baked goods I have experienced in my time in Oklahoma. It is a little costly for cookies, but for good reason. Insomnia cookies really puts time and quality into their work. Worth the drive and money.

We live literally on the line of their delivery service (2.4 miles from their location). Offered any amount of money for them to deliver to our house, but they refused. For some reason theyve drawn their borders for delivery at our neighborhood, which is like I said 2.4 miles away. Under no circumstances would they work with us. Im not sure why they dont want business and extra money to deliver to a couple of hungry people who just want some cookies, but they can enjoy having fewer customers if thats their game plan.

This place is truly disappointing. I ordered my cookies an hour ago. I called them twice but nobody picks up the phone. Very strange. Im surprised they are still in business. I also see others have had the same issue. Good thing I didnt pay with card!

Came down from Texas heard this cookie place was great to my surprise it was horrible bad customer service very unwelcoming establishment and cold hard cookies. They just dumped my cookies in a brown paper bag i asked for a box they said sorry they are low on boxes (saw boxes on the rack available) I was taking quiet a few into my car a box would of been handy. I will never come here again. Nothing compares to tiff treats! Don’t waste your time with this place!!

The cookies are good. Ill give them that. But the service is horrible. They have one worker taking orders. One in the back putting frozen cookie dough in the oven. One person filling what appeared to be delivery orders. Finally there is one person filling orders for people waiting. This individual seemed very confused. She walked around in circles with her spatula like she literally could not find the cookies. I finally went up to ask about my order and she miraculously put the last two cookies in the box and I got to leave. Really, just go to Walmart and buy some frozen dough, take it home and throw them in the oven yourself. It will be quicker and cheaper.

Sure, warm cookies and fast delivery. HOWEVER, $5 extra was charged AFTER I received my cookies. The dont handle customer service issues in store, they direct you to call a customer service phone number. Then the unethusiastic customer service representative tells you to email a screenshot of your bank statement showing the purchase, and the online receipt. Sketchy.

These cookies are amazing. We got a combo pack and literally all the cookies in the pack were great. My favorite was the smores or the peanut butter. The wait was a little long on a Saturday night, duh. But it was so worth it.

Ordered the smoors cookie and while we were waiting they sold the LAST one to the people that ordered AFTER us. So we had to choose a different cookie because of workers failure to attention to detail. Will not say names because everyone makes mistakes but hopefully doesnt happen again.

I’m trying to figure out what is the point of ordering online and doing in store pick up, when I still have to wait the same amount of time compared to someone who walks in store and orders. There are only two workers, one who works the back and one who works the register. I came to pick up my cookie, and there was a long line of people waiting at the cash register. There isn’t a line or person assigned to handle pick up orders only. Pretty much online it said my cookie would be ready at 8:30 pm. I waited for 20-30 minutes at the cash register, and it was around 9 pm when I actually got them.The box was pre-labeled before but they still took new time to put the cookies in the box then when I came at register. I guess it makes it have a warm cookie besides a cookie sitting in a box for 30 minutes. Some of the cookie textures vary. One cookie was gooey and underdone. I still eat it, but some other people may not like that. There isn’t a guarantee how well cooked your cookie can turn out. It is inconsistent.If you are impulsive and impatient, and are considering an online order with in store pickup who expects their cookie to be readily available at X time... just don’t bother . Either just immediately go to the store as a walk in and order the cookie to be delivered to you.Overall it is good they have a late night cookie store in Oklahoma to fill people’s sweet tooth cravings who want a warm and soft cookie. It is a place to check out if you happen to be near the area, but if you are craving a cookie right there and then, you may be better off going to a grocery store or some place like Whole Foods to get cookies.

They were okay cookies, but my friend said the ice cream was good. The lady at the register was painfully awkward and did not look like she wanted any of the customers there. We even tried to joke around with her a bit to make her smile, but nothing. Definitely need to work on the customer service!

Sub-par service... ordered a 6-pack before four other customers who all had their orders filled before mine. If they had to make them, it wouldnt be a problem. However, the orders before mine were the same as my order. The cookies were edible at best, but not good enough for 10 dollars for six cookies. Wont be visiting here again.

Walked in off the square and ordered two cookies with chocolate milk. We had to wait for them to bake fresh cookies, but to compensate us for our patience we received a free cookie 🍪. That is how a company should operate! I have also used their delivery service. If you choose delivery for your cookies they will be delivered warm (yummm).

It was a late Saturday night when I entered the only place to satisfy my late night munchies.As soon as I entered the door they welcomed me in like as if I was one of their own children. Since it was my first time trying Insomnia Cookies, I decided to ask the lovely cashier what she recommends.After hearing her suggestion, I decided to order a peanut butter and chocolate cookiewhich which just made night perfect as I enjoyed eating my cookiewhich while watching the office and wrote this excellent review.

If I could give zero stars I would. We ordered cookies for a salon literally 2 minutes away and it has been 2 hours and still NO cookies. Might as well not offer a delivery service. Very disappointed and we havent even eaten the cookies yet.....Just got the cookies 15 minutes later and the delivery driver was rude. She did not apologize about the wait time and had something smart as soon as she walked through the door. She assumed she could keep the change and had an attitude when I wanted the change. She threw the change at me and just left! TERRIBLE customer service and we WILL NOT be ordering again nor referring anyone! Side note: If you want cookies tomorrow make sure you order them tonight!

So I understand that this establishment has only been open since Monday, however this service was unacceptable. I have been to multiple insomnia cookies establishments in other states, and always loved it/had the best experience. To say that I was disappointed would be a grave understatement.Issue 1) the woman taking our order was not helpful or personable at all. 2) we waited half an hour for our cookies (yet the staff did not give us any indication that there would be a wait before we ordered) 3) we were waiting on a delux cookie and were told that it only had 3 more minutes... we finally left after waiting another 7 minutes WITHOUT the cookie we ordered... they gave us a different flavor, with no apologies what so ever. 4) the cookies we finally did receive were smashed together in the paper baggies, completely melting into each other. Just a total mess.I know this business is still getting the kinks worked out but if I am paying $3/cookie I expect more than this.

Love the product, its cookies whats not to love, but this staff is terrible. The customer service needs serious improvement. The staff Ive experienced have been rude and unorganized. We waited 25 minutes for them to complete 1item on our order after being told it would be a few minutes, this has happened handful of times. We have given this place several chances and there has been no change. We like the product, but we wont be returning.
