Got to love grocery outlet! Sometimes you find really amazing products you wont typically find at your local major grocery store chain and for an awesome low price! Its like a surprise every visit! As long as you dont expect to find a specific product on a consistent basis and you understand the goal of this store you will never be disappointed, how can you with these prices?!

They have some strange items in there for a grocery store / I dont know what the other convenience store type stuff but its good its good things change everyday though

Bought some garlic bread to make at home & when I pulled it out of the pack it was moldier then Dumbledores balls was very disappointed bc I got it before & it was delicious

If you dont feel like waiting in line at the 99 NonCents (only) store, this place has all the same stuff, only less hectic looking in presentation. Always clean, fresh and symmetrically front-faced products on the shelves. never have I encountered overwhelmed shelves with excessively stacked merchandise teetering precariously on the brink of collapse as you walk past it. Product consistancy is usually around 80% and includes a wide spectrum of not only food but just plain fun junk. Thats why I return...Because its certainly not the employees whom of a majority are VOID of any personality or are incapable of expressing any acknowledgment like a smile (okay the masks cover THAT gesture whatever) or eye contact or perhaps something common like Hi, hello, or even more familiar, Bienvenido a nuestra tienda, indicating theyre pleased youve chosen their store to shop at today. And the other four out of the seven days every week I go there).¡Palabra! 🤯

Love Grocery Outlet! So many organic choices, healthy snacks. Great prices on eggs. And you will find random treasures in the housewares section.

The store was clean the employees were very courteous I was able to find everything I needed within the store and then some thats why I gave them a five.

One of my favorite discount grocery stores. Just bought 12 bottles of wine, didnt pay more than $8.00 for any bottle! Theyre having a 20% off sake right now for the next few days. They are always having sales - sign up for their online sale flyer for weekly sales. They have a great organic selection and their prices are very reasonable. This is my go-to location but I also shop the one on College.

I used to love this Grocery Outlet as I live not very far from it. For some reason this Grocery Outlet has went downhill. The products that are offered are horrible. For example the Nosh, pet food, cheeses, and coffee selection have been horrible. I recommend going to the Oceanside store. This store is much better and clearly more organized. Im not sure if the store owner changed or what but trust me on this one I only come here if I need something quick for dinner other than that Im headed to Oside.

People have been telling me about this place, and now I see why. I just got a SMOKING DEAL on name brand Whey. It was half of what it sells for in stores. The whole store was extremely clean and organized as well, which I like, so I dont have to go searching and sifting through things to find what I am looking for. Plenty of parking too.

They have the exact same items in this store for a lot less than in other stores.

I absolutely love the wines here. They also have a good selection of organics. The employees are friendly too.

I usually go to the one on Plaza Dr. and College because its closer to home, but I came to this one about a month or so ago and I like it better. Its a little better stock exchange, it has better options, its cleaner, and it has the upright freezer for frozen food.

Grocery Outlet is nice but it would do better to have basic hoods like Hot chocolate, Corn, etc. I had to go to 99 cents store to get those items. The staff (particularly the main cashier)at G.O is beyond superb and they make shopping enjoyable.

Great prices Nice staff and friendly customer service. Excellent dairy prices. Love just to go walking isle by isle. I come in at least once a week or more since store opened. The older gentleman (Frank)? Is so sweet fun and excellent service. Also the young 18-19 year old Steve? He is friendly and knows how to pack a bag😄 Thank you for also being a good trainer. Teaching a sweet young lady how to ring up and very patient. Im bad with names sorry. Love this store and all employees are helpful.

This location has better variety of items compared to the one thats in Oceanside.

The prices are great and its close to home. However, Secilia the cashier was very rude and disrespectful to me and my wife. From my last experience here which was about 3 weeks ago, Secilia is always snappy and gives off angry vibes to every customer going through her checkout lane. Her demeanor completely turns me off from wanting to shop at this location any further.

Natural, organic, specialty and healthy foods from your favorite brands. A surprise each visit as to what might be in stock so get two of items you love. Excellent savings on vegan, gluten free, organic products and an entire aisle/section is dedicated to such items to make it even easier to shop. Check dates to be sure you can consume the food before they expire.

Clean. Lots of good deals, sometimes depending upon whats in stock. Often have great deals on gluten free foods. Gotta grab the deals when you see them though because they tend to go fast. I shop at both Escondido and San Marcos locations regularly. I also like that they support Relevant Radio.

Grocery outlet has sooo many things youd never expect. From organic maca or turmeric powder to name brand dog food or organic frozen entrees. Love Grocery Outlet!

I was skeptical at first of how the quality might be, but I was pleasantly surprised at the offerings. Not too much of a fan of the produce section, but the discounted baked goods, wine and beer selection, and even the innovative health food products were great deals. Tons of name brand stuff at really competitive prices. I miss the damaged goods rack they used to have with dented cans and whatnot. Otherwise, a great place to stock up on a budget.

I moved to San Marcos in August of 2019. I am walking distance to this store so I usually stop by there every day to get something for lunch or dinner. Once in a while, I end up with somethings that are expired or will soon (why it is an outlet).This past Saturday, I stopped by to get some Mango Kombucha, drink. It cost $2. I proceeded to walk to Jack In The Box and got a fish sandwich to have with my drink. The drink was really horrible. It was actually Rancid. I think it may have spent some time not refrigerated.I walked back to Grocery Outlet the next day to return the drink and to buy about $30 worth of groceries (an exchange). Keeping in mind that I shopped there everyday, I couldnt believe the manager and owner gave me such a difficult time about returning my expired drink because I didnt have a receipt. I know I have spent thousands of dollars there since I moved here, Ive been primarily shopping there for my groceries but they have lost a customer for a good over a $2 drink that they didnt want me to return to them.Ive shopped at other grocery Outlets where theyre much more friendly than this one. I dont recommend this one because they seem to change their policy and have a lot of expired food on the shelves.I let the manager know that Ill be shopping elsewhere and the manager said thats fine and so I will :)Trader Joes is probably my favorite grocery store, The people there have really positive attitude, as well as Vons, Ive never had any trouble returning or exchanging anything from those stores with or withouta recept, as well as other Grocery Outlets, just not this particular one.

Owner and Management beyond rude. They are condescending and seem to have a particular disdain for mothers. Which is odd, since we must be the bulk of their customers.After being twice denied access to the restrooms, I am done. Oddly, I see male customers strolling in and out of the restroom all the time. When I need it, it is closed for repairs or cleaning.Dont waste your time, just go to the one in Oceanside. They are really nice there.

The store is okay for what it is. The customer service has gone down hill from the original owners at this location. The cashier we encountered today gave me the impression that I was inconveniencing her by being there and paying with cash.

A h i find this store pretty frustrating sure yeah they get Closeouts so what they get changes have a lot of regular items that turn out to be semi-regular such as Don Franciscos coffee really good coffee but you cant count on them having it just like the Italian. Keno coffee that used to carry then they just sort of slowly stopped 99 cent store is better for some things so its Big Lots the store is not what it used to be

When they first opened, this was a foodies dream... All kinds of neat, ever-changing inventory to make your mouth water.Sadly, now, theyre selling a lot of expired, or about-to-expire items, and thats not terribly comforting.We went the other day, and got excited by all kinds of new items (we hadnt seen there before), but quite a few were past their sell by or best by dates.You can still find some bargains, but be careful to scrutinize each package before you put it in your cart.

A great place to shop and what most people dont know is SELL BY and USE BY are recommendations unless it says EXPIRE. Depending on the department there is a certain amount of time It can be used. Do your research and look into that before you take something back. The store also has a 100% satisfaction guaranteed so if youre not happy with the products that you bought then you can take it back no questions asked, However you must have your receipt to get a full refund in cash and if you dont have that, there can always be an exchange them. Ive been shopping here since they first open and there are a lot of hidden gems but ypu have to search and find them.

Equal items cost 2-3x at Vons, Albertsons, Ralphs, and similar stores. Grocery Outlets produce is fantastic - looks beautiful, is fresh and inexpensive.If youve never been, I highly recommend a visit. Make sure you have time to walk down the aisles and check out the wide selection of items they carry! Great store!!

In truth... I was less than impressed. I swear, they must have turkeys, as pets, because I was hard pressed to find ANYTHING TURKEY - in this store.

When I cannot afford Trader Joes, I hit Bargain Market. You never know what youre going to get, but that is to be expected. They are good at what they do, but only 4 stars because the produce just doesnt measure up enough of the time.

GO is an inexpensive grocery store, much cheaper then the regulate stores, so go check it out!

You might find some really good bargains if youre lucky. You will always find different items so if youre a loyal brand buyer dont expect to find them here.

They only sell so much of an item and cant guarantee theyll carry it again so dont fall in love with anything or stock up if you find something you like. Decent prices but not many varieties/flavors of each product.

I really like this grocery store because of the amount of healthy, organic items they offer. I will say that I have learned to look at the expiration dates closely as I have noticed that some items expire within a week of me buying them.
