Accessibility: they have handicap parking and plenty of other parking; the lot is never full. They have regular carts outside the store that you can grab before going in, there are ramps to get up the sidewalk, automatic opening doors, then AC inside to keep you cool. Inside the front of the store, if you walk to the left side near the bathrooms, they have two motorized shopping carts which are super helpful for those who need help getting around. The bathrooms have always been clean and spacious when Ive used them.Experience: this is a big grocery store so they have pretty much everything you need. I wish things cost less but all grocery stores are more expensive than I wish. The employees are nice here so I like this store!

Great store! I live right around the corner, so we go here frequently. Especially for quick visits- I like that they generally don’t allow the lines to get very long, (like other grocery stores in the area). Great service as well! Overall, highly recommend

My only complaint is that the checker in the 15 items or less lane allowed a person in front of me with 40 or so item in a cart. The checker should have said something. I had 1 item in my hand behind him. I spoke my mind to them both. I know its the week of Thanksgiving and its busy. I just needed to grab an item and get back to work. The rules mean nothing anymore.

The closest supermarket to me. This shopping center was one of the first ones around in the early 1970s. Consequently its a little dated and people pass it by for the Albertsons a mile west. There is new construction in the west end of this center and I believe they are replacing the old bank building with townhomes which will hopefully liven it up with sone mixed-use appeal. Stater brothers has banana popsicles that are a critical lifeline between me and my three year-old grandaughter.

A great place to shop. They have great offers and their products are high class. The store is very clean and well stocked. I love going there.

As I understand it, Stater Brothers started as a meat market, and weve been happy with their meat and the employees at the meat counter. This store is a little out of the way for us, but watching the sale ads enables us to buy protein in quantity when its on sale and keep our freezer full. Clean stores, nice people, good products; whats not to like.

Nice, clean, small neighborhood grocery store. Employees are welcoming and helpful. The selection of meat is fresh and prices are reasonable. Produce is super as far as price and quality. There is a large selection for produce, meats, and desserts. I love their pastry area, really yummy apple turnovers my mom always buys. I think you could get better prices at Walmart or a Mexican market. This store is very cozy/ community friendly. People know each other. Very white-suburbs, senior citizen type of vibe.

Been shopping here for 10 years.Great prices and excellent service... But the produce department seems to be going down hill the past month or so.Radishes were black inside when we cut them yesterday. All the cauliflower had brown spots, so we passed on that.The cucumbers were soft. What happened to the produce department???

I went this Morning around 10 am I’m 38 weeks pregnant and have a hard time walking I approach to get electric cart there an employee in the first one out of 2 it’s always hard getting into one with out one on the way as she sees me stand near doesn’t move or anything but once she’ sees me trying to find a way in to the second one available she’s like here take this one this one is easier and sit on the 2 one. My most recent experience shopping at Stater Bros was very disappointing and here are the reasons why this experience was a 1 STAR ☆(or Less) experience. First,I am going to compare them to a my 5 STARS ☆☆☆☆☆ experience at another competitor called Trader Joes located off of Centre City Pkwy in Escondido, California.First of all, Trader Joes limits the number the number of people entering their store and have marked off spots 6 feet apart outside their Store as customers wait to enter, so that the customers are NOT EXPOSED to OTHER CUSTOMERS and the COVID-19 VIRUS!!! STATER BROS DOES NOT DO THIS!! Trader Joes uses ONLY ONE ENTRANCE for their CUSTOMERS TO ENTER ONLY(they have an employee DEDICATED to make certain that people enter in by that ONE DOOR while wearing masks and EXIT BY ONLY ONE DOOR!! Stater Bros DOES NOT LIMIT the NUMBER of PEOPLE ENTERING THEIR STORE!!! Stater Bros DOES NOT HAVE ONE ENTRANCE dedicated to people entering their store and ONE EXIT dedicated to people leaving their store to control the number of people!! IN FACT, They have THREE ENTRANCES WHICH ALSO ACT AS EXITS BECAUSE THE DOORS ARE AUTOMATIC and I OBSERVED MANY PEOPLE GO OUT THE ENTRANCE BY TIGGERING THE ELECTRONIC EYE IN THE DOORS ( except late at night after 9:00 pm or before 7:45 am to 8:00 am when they let Seniors in through their middle entrance). BY STATER BROS NOT LIMITING THEIR CUSTOMERS TO TRULY GOING IN ONE ENTRANCE ONLY AND LEAVING BY ONLY ONE EXIT ONLY, STATER BROS HAS MULTIPLIED THE POSSIBILITY OF EXPOSURE TO THE COVID-19 VIRUS!! Stater Bros HAS NOT MARKED OFF SPOTS outside their establishment for the customer to wait LIKE TRADER JOES does. Stater Bros states that MASKS ARE MANDATORY!! However, I have REPORTED several incidents as recently as May 25, 2020 that people were entering their establishment WITHOUT the REQUIRED MASKS and was TOLD THERES NOTHING WE CAN DO ABOUT THAT (PEOPLE ENTERING WITHOUT MASKS)!!Next, Trader Joes SPRAYS HAND SANITIZER on Each PERSONS HANDS BEFORE EACH PERSON ENTERS their Store while also HANDING the CUSTOMER a SANITIZERED SHOPPING CART!! WHILE STATER BROS DOES NOT!l INFACT, I saw a customer return a shopping cart that they had JUST USED TO THE SHOPPING CART AREA WHERE CARTS are SUPPOSEDLY WIPED DOWN where unbeknownst to a new shopper who selects that UNSANITIZED shopping cart!! Meanwhile, TRADER JOES HAS AN AREA WHERE THEY ACTUALLY SPRAY DOWN ALL THE SHOPPING CARTS!!Next, once you enter Trader Joes Store, the customer is directed to begin their shopping in a DIRECTIONAL FLOW and NARROW AISLES ARE MARKED WITH ONE WAY ARROWS and WIDER AISLES are MARKED and Partitioned, so as to be SOCIALLY DISTANCED from the ALREADY LIMITED CUSTOMERS PERMITTED INTO THE STORE AT ONE TIME!! THIS IS ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT ON NARROW AISLES WHICH ARE ONE WAY ONLY thereby LIMITING EXPOSURE TO THE COVID-19 VIRUS!! Meanwhile, STATER BROS has ONLY MARKED SPOTS 6 FEET APART as the customer waits in line at the CHECKOUT AREA. HOWEVER, STATER BROS DOES NOT HAVE ANY ARROWS or Partitions to PROTECT the customers FROM other CUSTOMERS and the COVID-19 VIRUS!!Lastly, NOT ONLY DOES TRADER JOES have SPOTS MARKED OFF 6 FEET APART AS THE CUSTOMER WAITS IN LINE to pay, but TRADERS JOES ALSO SPRAYS THE CUSTOMERS HANDS AS the customer leaves the store and Trader Joes ASKS ( IF THEY CAN HELP the customer out to their car)!!To SUM UP MY EXPERIENCES AT BOTH TRADER JOEs and STATER BROS, I will share a snippet of a conversation I had with a TRADER JOES employee. I was complimenting the Trader Joes employee for the ORGANIZED, THOROUGH, and VERY THOUGHTFUL PLAN the store has instituted TO BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH CDC GUIDELINES to PROTECT CUSTOMERS AND the STORES WORKERS, and the TRADER JOES EMPLOYEE SAID, WE LOVE OUR CUSTOMERS AND WANT TO KEEP THEM SAFE!!! WOW, NEED I SAY MORE????? THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STATER BROS STORE AND STATER BROS IS TRADERS IS MY HERO and STATER BROS MY ZERO!!! TRADERS GETS MY 5 ☆☆☆☆☆+++ RATING & STATERS MY 1☆ OR LESS!!

Love this market! Shop here for my mom, but they always have what Im looking for too. Cant always find Honest Tea at Ralphs or Target but Staters always has it. Easy store to learn, and they dont move things around to better market other products. Reliable item placement! I like the homey feel of this little store!!

First time at this Staters in San Marcos. They didnt have what was on sale that i wanted that wasnt EXPIRED. None in back so i was disapointed. Think ill go back to Vista. Too bad i just moved to San Marcos.

Last of the grocery stores that have a butcher behind the counter one of the reasons I shop there sure do miss ole Vinny B the butcher he was the best.

Great deal normally lower prices milk and coffee creamers. 2day $1.99 lb for pork butt roast from butcher counter. Always friendly and fair as possible prices friendly clean etc but no heated food section so dont go there starving for cooked food.

Love this store they always very helpful and the prices are great I used to shop closer to my house it was expensive I just couldnt afford them and the meat department is so nice and the butchers are so nice.

I am REALLY DISAPPOINTED at how I was treated this morning by staff...there was a long line, another cashier was added who should have taken the next person in line, me, but that did not happen...tsk, tsk, tsk... I wonder if race played a part in the cashier’s decision of which customer should be helped next???

My experience at Stater brothers huh well here we go...1st we dont have a deli or bakery which sucks cause we are a small store and I think we would get a lot more customers if we did.2nd I dont like how a select few talk down on you thats not right there needs to change that just me Im tired of complaining to people and pulling people aside and nothinghappens something has to give here. Im not only a customer Im an employee here and I agree withe the customers and complaints because I see it as well.Other than that the customer service skills are great theyre always happy and willing to help the store is clean and in proper shapeThe prices are great even better when sales come.
