The BEST tasting tacos you will find in San Marcos. I am kind of disappointed though that they raised the prices and made the tortillas smaller. I would understand if they kept the tortillas the same size and raised the price.. still really good. Also if you’re looking for good horchata, I recommend coming here. There is a little dessert stand and jewelry, perfume and much more. But I only come here for their tacos!

Decent produce section, great meat selection! Care for chicken feet? Im serious, you can get it here. You can buy food hot ready to eat. The only drawback was a single cashier and a long wait time. The Poco Loco on Windy Hill Dr in Kyle is better, but living in San Marcos makes QC a regular destination.

If I could give negative stars I would.People pay attention when they are ringing you up. Prices on the shelves do not match what is ringing up. Cashiers are rude and should leave the job they are unhappy and unqualified for. The worse thing is they accept food stamps so they are ripping people off and knowing no one will dispute prices because theyre not paying attention to prices. I am reporting this store to the state.

Its a local Hispanic Market, you need to be able to communicate in Spanish. Not many employees speak English. And be prepared for the awkward looks from patrons as if you dont belong there. Usually the prices on meats are better than most. Today, however they were the same or higher than local stores.

Like always, superbly, utterly: the best service, warm smiles, fresh foods, cheeses, meat market.....must I go on? The taqueria pulls you in with its delectable sauces, sauteed serranos.....

Was trying to place a large order but the woman keeps hanging up on because she doesnt speak English so now I have to drive to Austin other than that I shopped here several times I was helping a friend out for future should have someone who speaks both languages instead of someone keep hanging up on you, they could have passed the phone to someone else

The best tacos in San Marcos for $1.45 a piece with a really fresh salsa bar. Delicioso paired with bottled icey cold Coca-Cola and good ice cream bars to eat after in fresh flavors that you cant get at any other big box food chains. The cucumber watermelon is my favourite

Items are pretty pricey there. A small bag of charcoal costs over $10 there, to where the same bag costs $5.99 at HEB or Wal Mart. Same thing with a small can of condensed milk. Cost me $3 there, and theyre only .88 at HEB.

BEST and most authentic breakfast tacos here! Every time I meet a new friend who lives here I always recommend them this place and surprisingly nobody knows that they sell tacos, menudo, horchata, etc here! They are a great price for getting REAL breakfast tacos and salsa compared to Fuego. Everything is homemade and really good! The Barbacoa tacos, menudo and horchata are my favorite things to order from here.

I highly recommend this place not just because food is good also has a mini market inside feels like you are in a small little town. Staff super friendly fast and good prices also.

The meat here is pretty fresh but today my husband and I ordered a plater he got the pork with nopales it was lacking salt and it taste like straight up bay leaves i order a plater of barbacoa it was lacking salt and taste like the cleaning product they use to clean their stove in top of that taste like they pour raw oil on top of the meat very disappointed

We are a family of 6, so we have to stock up on groceries. The money we spend at this meat market verses what we used to pay at the grocery store is substantially less AND were getting QUALITY meat here. I really love the variety of meats, the freshness of the meat (you can watch as they cut the meat and prepare it), and the meat cutters are so friendly and give good customer service. We will continue to buy our meats, fish, seafood, etc from here. We tell everyone we know, you should do the same.

This store sucks dont go there ever worse customer service, workers act like they dont understand and not even clean. If you want to get good products go to HEB it would serve you way better. They even lied and passed me to a little girl who was suppose to be their manager since the manager didnt understand english.

Nice little grocery catering to your Mexican meal needs and quick grab and go items. Has a fresh meat market and a Mexican cafe inside. You pay a little more for some items but you dont deal with the crowds found at HEB and Wal-Mart.

Great place to get meat, if youre looking to get some nice cuts of ribeye, this is the place to go. I havent tried anything from the restaurant yet, but the food smells great. Produce is nice.

Parking lot small. Lady with glasses at the meat counter is always very rude. Meat quality is always good. A little more expensive than your regular grocery store.

The cashier wasnt helpful until I said I wanted to talk to the manager. Mamalou an elderly woman left behind a bag of menudo. The cashier didnt make sure she had everything. When she left the store.I got home she and was upset. So then I made the call .all the suddenly they found the bag and save it. Hmmm.I think she keeps anything that customers leave behind so becarefull and make sure you have everything that you buy...

Lacking good pan dulce but other than that the meat selection has never disappointed me nor has the wide variety of Hispanic/ mexican brand products.

The employees are rude and dont want to help you at all,I asked where something was and the lady said its over there somewhere. I was going to buy a couple of produce items but couldnt find any that werent fresh,they were almost rotten, go to hed or Walmart.

I absolutely LOVE this place. The tacos are so cheap and honestly my favorite in all of San marcos. The grocery has great prices and a decent selection. I come here are least once a week. The tostada de ceviche is insanely good.
