Such a wonderful toy shop! Pretty good book selection, wonderful toys for all ages! I bought my sons scooter here & quite a few trucks among other things. The employees are lovely and always ready to help choose the best item whoever youre shopping for. They also WRAP YOUR TOYS if its going to be a gift. Which I absolutely love! Always my first place to shop before heading to shop online :) wonderful variety of toys. This Toy and Book Shoppe is the cutest! Although I live nearby and have passed by a million times, I only recently decided to stop in. They have a great selection of toys and book for all ages. Its setup very nicely with toys on the right and books on the left. They have a small section of craft activities as well in the front which my kids love.They also have online and real gift cards for you to purchase which is great! Lastly they have online shopping and curbside pickup for those that prefer to shop online! Support small businesses and shop small!

Knowledgeable and helpful staff who were able to help me find age appropriate toy and book suggestions for my young nieces and nephews (who knows what kids like these days). This is my go to place when I need the perfect gift for children. I always show points with the books they recommend and there are you you options for every type of kid. You wont find video games and too much in the way of electronics. But that stuff can be found everywhere. What you find here are gifts that are much more meaningful, fun, and often educational. I cant recommend it highly enough.

Store back in business in March 2021. New owner took over during COVID-19 in 2021. Previous owner had taken over in 2019. Original owner had closed the store, selling off all the inventory and some fixtures back in February 2019. Current store owners again have great selection of toys that inspire play and creativity. An excellent selection of books both for learning and for fun. Not a place to find huge plastic battery operated ride on toys or gym equipment as this is not a chain toy store. Free street parking or in lot in back. Gift wrapping has been free and expert from a limited selection of wrapping paper. Not a discount store but prices traditionally not extreme either. Happy to see the store open again.
