Love shopping here and everyone always loves what I get them here!
VERY DISAPPOINTED With store policy of not replacing defective merchandise. I bought one of their gorgeous black face masks with flowers based on a centuries old tapestry. The mask was generally well constructed, with a metal piece in the nose. After only two weeks the piece broke and so the mask does not function at all. It does not hold the mask close to the face any longer. I called and they said sorry we don’t refund even defective merchandise. Surely they could charge it back to the manufacturer or supplier as when I worked earlier in retail we did routinely. WATCH OUT!!! Not good value for a mask which with shipping cost $24, but only lasted two weeks. None of the other masks I’ve had for months has done this.
Called whether they’re open, got told „yes, until 5, you can come in“, got turned away at the gate with the information „we closed at 4:15“
I’m from out of town and wanted to order something I saw in the store on a recent visit. It was not in the catalog so when I called the store I expected it might be a difficult transaction. Not only did I not know the correct name of the item I didn’t know the price. Fortunately I reached Marlena Lopez! Marlena was patient, professional and went beyond what she needed to do for me. She took pictures of the items to make sure they were the correct ones, emailed and called me back in a prompt fashion. Marlena, you are simply the best!
Best. Place. Ever. If you need a gift for some one you just might find it here. From note cards or a book to really nice jewelry, they have that and much more. They are only closed on Tuesdays AND you dont need a membership to go to the gift store or the restaurants in the entry area. Enjoy!
Than you for all your help you guys . Your help was very helpful.Thank youSarkis
Whenever i visit the gardens i always check out the Huntington store. It makes me smile.Ive found some unique jewelry and lovely decorative pieces for home.
Wonderful shop with beautiful and unusual gifts. Truly a delight. And, in my experience, lovely helpers, even under pressure.
Really upscale and exceptionally curated gift shop. Items are arranged by themes, which means you will spend more than you planned because you see something else that goes with it perfectly. Cherry blossoms, peacocks, Arts & Crafts, tea pots, truly beautiful editions of childrens books.
I have visited here multiple times, unfortunately it just is never as nice as I hope. The gift items are very overpriced, for what they are. It is crowded, with too small aisles for the volume of people coming through. And the people working there never fail to be rude. I do not recommend stopping by here while at the gardens. The cafe next door, on the other hand, is well worth the visit.
Absolutely gorgeous!!! Spent nearly 2 hours going through each section as it was so much fun with so much to see. Going to start making an annual trip just for the giftshop
After over a decade of visits here and the amalgamation of this santcuary of gardens, neo-classical architecture/art I remain in awe of the artistic embellishments of this radiant store.Items within are not pedestrian---yet are rather of a quality found in Europe. Discerning Huntington fellows, members and guests may peruse the recherché items within.A special umbrella was found/purchased. Wonderful amelioration in aesthetics of this new gift shop. The 9th President Karen R. Lawrence is in place. Thanks for the opportunity to observe.
Unique high quality gifts: books, stationary, cards, ceramics, scarves, and other unique items. Some items are pricey but others very affordable.
I didnt shop here but wanted to give a shoutout that these nice people let me check my luggage in the back while I toured the gardens. The folks at the Huntington didnt allow that so it was much appreciated since I didnt have a down day while visiting the LA area.
The largest gift shop of any museum I have seen. Books of art and gardening, statuary, entire childrens section. Is open during the pandemic, but there may be a wait to get in.
This museum store has many fun items as well as the usual books, toys, and souvenirs. Overall this store features a large selection attractively and appealingly displayed.
I always love to walk the garden 😎🦋🌸💮🌻
