Was 5 minutes late because of traffic trying to make my appointment after work, the staff was very rude and turned me away with no other customers in the store and no other appointments, had an appointment for a third eye exam after my first 2 prescriptions were messed up, and working in a job where i rely on crisp vision this has affected me alot.I would recommend the corte madera store instead if you dont want your time waisted.
Dr. Paek was not only as kind as other reviews indicate, she was also very thorough — paying close attention to my personal situation and goals for my prescription. I felt very well cared for from my initial screening with Jayda, eye health and prescription appointment and eye glasses ordering process. One note I never would have thought to consider is that this Northgate location has an onsite lens lab (so glasses were ready much faster than when they need to be sent to/from a central lab).
This place is staffed by people who are professional and very knowledgeable in the service and the products they sell. I highly recommend for anyone.
Great Service! Kind, friendly employees! Highly recommend!
Very kind and patient even when my cranky old grandma went full blown rude Karen on them. Thank you Ben for being so patient and understanding!
I lost my sunglasses. Fortunately, LensCrafters had a record of the glasses and my prescription, so I was able to purchase another pair quickly.
The eye exam was excellent. The service was excellent. I am looking forward to getting my new glasses!
Great experience at this neighborhood store . Would recommend
Customer service agent was extremely welcoming and polite and was able to resolve my issue!
I like very good service. Makes glasses very quickly.
The team at LensCrafters in San Rafael, CA is very knowledgeable and courteous! They made the experience super easy and reasonable.
Great Service!!Initially i had some issues with billing, however store Assistant manager help me to fix that issue and he did help me to exchange my glasses like i wish. Thank you.
I wish, I could give negative rating to this store. I had a horrible experience. I purchased glasses and they asked me 5-7 working days, I received no call after 7 days, I called and they said order is in process wait for few more days. I called after 10 days, they said order has been received need to check in the lab, which is closed now and will call you tomorrow for the update. No call. Today again I called, they said order was never placed and they need to re-process my order. Really disappointing. Big showroom, worst customer service. I cancelled my order. Not going to buy from LensCrafters in future for sure.
I live in Berkeley and went kind of out of my way to go to this location. It was one of two locations that had openings on Sunday (I made the appointment Saturday night). I made an appointment at the Alameda location and at this location because I was unsure of which one I wanted to go to. Although Alameda is a bit closer to me and I wouldnt have had to pay a toll to go over the Richmond bridge, I decided to go to this one for two reasons. One, they had better overall reviews. Two, both locations called me in the morning to confirm my appointment. Alameda called to tell me I needed to confirm my appoint or else were going to give the time slot to someone else. The San Leandro location called to remind you of your appointment. With the reviews in mind and the tone of the phone call, my choice was easy to make. Every employee at this location was so nice and so helpful. The exam itself was very thorough, they tested for so many different things. The doctor was kind and very informative. There was no pressure to buy frames there which was nice. Also, although theyre both Lenscrafters, the eye exam at Alameda was going to cost $95, while this location charged me $74.95. Will definitely come back for my next eye exam.
Great service. Manager is super friendly and always finds his way to work something out. Not a huge selection of frames but did find something I liked. Costumer service is amazing. Everyone greeted me when I walked in the door. Will definitely come back to this location when In need of New glasses. Young lady, I believe name was dalila checked up on me to see if I was doing okay or needed any help. And gentlemen behind a register have me a comfortable goodbye. Better than corte madera for sure.
Tried to get a new pair of glasses. The store manager was dead serious all the way. I called my previous store 3 times in about 2 hours to fax my prescription to this LensCrafters, and I was told they had paper proof to show the fax went thru. But this LensCrafters manager insisted he didnt receive it. After about 3 hours waiting, I went home without anything. Ill try NOT to deal with LensCrafters in this life.
Buyer beware. My g/f spent just under a $1,000 here three years ago for a pair of progressive eyeglasses and a pair of multifocal breathable contact lenses. For which she still has all of her original receipts.A few days ago she cracked part of the frame of the eyeglasses, and went in to the same Northgate store to buy new frames and have the lenses transferred. Lenscrafters told her that shed need a new prescription and new lenses; or they couldnt help her. When I suggested she ask them for a copy of the prescription shed paid for just over 3 years previously, she was told that it had been scrubbed from her file.Perhaps this sort of behavior is normal in this industry; but it seems pretty dishonest to me.Lenscrafters Northgate originally did great work for my love, and their staff were always courteous and professional. But if their management stands by the predatory marketing practices just described, youll want to avoid this place like the plague.Buyer beware.
Super excellent service very talk
