After an evening stroll by the river walk in Sanford we stopped in to check out this cute place. I had the Basil & Lavender (yes, you read that right) ice cream drizzled with dark chocolate fudge on top. It was rich, creamy and delicious! They have such a unique variety of homemade ice cream flavors. The staff was very attentive and helped us decide which flavors to marry. Loved this place and will come back!

Rich tasting naturally made treats. I enjoyed the Banana pudding in a waffle cone. We went with a large group and they had something different for everyone. Would recommend to anyone passing through the area.

Ice Cream here was delicious! I got the blueberry pancake ice cream and my wife got the cookie dough, cookie dough tasted different, not bad just not expected. Probably won’t get that one again. Very clean and the staff was very nice and friendly as well. We will definitely return!

The strawberry ice cream tasted like it had freezer burn. It was so clumped up that the scoop on top fell to the ground. The service was nice but the ice cream was pretty bad. Probably won’t be coming back.

A great place to go for an ice cream while you are walking down 1st street at Sanford Historic Downtown. We had two different ice cream an both were excellent, as was the service.

I only had the ice cream in the counter so I cannot attest to the rest of their products. I thought the ice cream was a bit lack-luster and overpriced, it wasnt bad but Ive been spoiled by places in my hometown that carried a wider varieties of flavors you cant find in normal stores. Here there were maybe 3 unique ones. I feel bad to say it but I should have gotten Ben and Jerrys instead :/

BEST ICE CREAM IVE EVER HAD! My husband and I have come here for years and it does have a super creamy mouth-feel to it, but I wouldn’t call it ‘oily’ as some negative reviews have said. Over the years I would say the quality is very reliable, and the mix-ins to the base are very very generous when compared to other brands (AKA lots of cookies in the cookies and cream ice cream).

Very unique boutique shop. Where else can you buy a log fire to go? Stout beer marshmallows anyone? Stop by and try an off the wall ice cream or a traditional favorite. Yummm! This is our first experience at Wondermade and it is delicious. We sampled Cornbread ice cream and it tastes just as you would imagine. I ordered churro ice cream which is very tasty and creamy. The coffee chocolate ice cream has a nice strong flavor. Today they had 16 flavors including avocado, birthday cake, peppermint mocha etc. the ice cream seems to be made with heavy cream and this is definitely a treat to experience.

Ice cream options are very tasty and they have good choices for dairy free as well.

Marshmallows and ice cream...I mean really, what is not to love?? This location is in downtown historic Sanford. They offer up handmade marshmallows and a case full of various ice creams. I went with the smores cause you cant get those made just anywhere!I had it in for a sweet treat after eating nearby. I was created immediately with only a little bit of a wait is there was only one customer in front of me. The South was extremely friendly and you can customize just about anything you want in here. I decided to do the chocolate lovers but they didnt have the chocolate graham crackers at the time. So instead we went with a birthday cake graham crackers.They heat the marshmallows on the spot using a small burner. This is awesome so that your marshmallows are delicious and only warmed up when youre ready to eat them. Be sure to check out the rest of the stores they have tons of options to take on the go if you cannot take something in an open container with you all the time.Overall: A++Who doesnt love marshmallows? And then they have ice cream on top of that?? Totally love this place!

A very unique frozen confection, cant say that I would call it Ice Cream, but it has a one if a kind taste thats very good. Slightly spendy, but worth it once in a while.

We tried the smores marshmallow experience and it was subpar. The graham crackers were stale and the overall taste wasnt that good. Honestly smores in the microwave are better than these. The ice cream samples were really good.

Best peach cobbler I’ve cream ever. It was actual cobbler in a vanilla ice cream. Don’t know what film everyone is complains about. The waffle was made on spot and still warm and crunchy. Great flavors and very full after my cone. Could have gotten two different flavors. Got some marshmallows to go and a yummy sweet spread and some key lime mints. Had a good variety of ice cream marshmallows and little things. Definitely top three ice cream I’ve had.

Okay...literally the coolest place! The s’mores are amazing and the atmosphere is so chill! I got the chocolate wafer, honey marshmallows, fudge topping and milk chocolate bar! We also got the birthday cake wafer, bourbon marshmallow, fudge topping and milk chocolate bar! If I wasn’t on a diet, we would have gotten the ice cream too, but the s’mores was perfect for an afternoon treat!

It wasnt what I was expecting at all--it feels more like a millennial ice cream shop, in the sense of a lot of open space, great sign for Instagram worthy photo ops, and some merch in the corner. I didnt try any of the actual ice cream but did get three marshmallows toasted. Those also werent what I was expecting--I for whatever reason thought they would be bigger. I also didnt really care for how intensely sweet they were paired with the singed flavor that came from them being lightly torched. Its a cute shop and if youre into marshmallows you may find your experience different than mine.

So disappointed! The ice cream was not ice cream at all. It had the consistency of mousse, was room temp and left a surge film in your mouth. The flavor was fine but a few bites in we opted to toss $12 worth. Would not recommend it.The marshmallows on the other hand were fabulous and the only reason they got as many stars as hey did. Loved the salted caramel! They were amazing!

Took my daughter to Florida for her birthday week and we ended up at Wondermade as we were coming from the park. Lots of different flavors except vanilla, unfortunately, which was what my daughter wanted but hey! No biggie right? She landed with the nutella flavor. Her buddy had smores and I had cookies n cream. Only thing that sucked aside from no vanilla was that although their menu displayed cones, apparently, they didnt have any (they said they had to make the cones and there was no more)....if I didnt have the girls I would of walked out but they really wanted ice cream so we just settled for 3 small cups. A total of $14.09. Quality I must say was delicious though.

Ehhh I had read most of the reviews and decided to give it another try. The cornbread flavor was a total disappointment, and it was melting faster than I could eat it, and yes it leaves a buttery oily film. The only flavors I would try if I come again are the sorbets.

This is hands down one of the BEST Ice Cream Shops I’ve ever been to. I got the Banana Pudding, and Cookie Dough Ice Cream and my Partner got the Strawberries & Cream and the Maple Bacon.. OMG THE MOST CREAMIEST, Flavorful, Mouth Watering Ice Cream you’ll ever get. It costed us about $13 including tip for 2 mediums. SOOO Worth it!! Trust me you won’t regret it a bit..

Friendly staff, allowed our large group to sample various flavors. They offer some of the more standard flavors and also a few unique ones: cornbread, lavender, churro, and a few vegan choices. Surprisingly the cornbread flavor was a hit amongst the group. Large open space to hang out and enjoy your treat.

My boyfriend and I came in here after reading the reviews and I have to say Im glad we did. At first I was a little hesitant because the decor isnt all that great but as soon as I saw they had FOUR vegan flavors I was immediately excited. I got the vegan caramelized banana and chocolate chunk ice cream and my boy friend got the sweet cornbread ice cream. Both of which were amazing. The vegan banana ice cream tasted like real bananas and not the fake banana flavor that so many banana ice cream flavors have. My boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed our visit.

What a lovely, kitchy place! The ice cream had sort of a frozen whipped cream texture and clung to the roof of my mouth, which isnt for everyone, and the waffle cone is thick and dry. But said waffle cone had three types of ice cream, and they have unique flavors that are surprisingly good, like banana pudding and cornbread! They also have vegan selections, so theres no missing out for our plant-based friends. All in all, 4/5. Itd be a 3 but we vibin.

If I could give a zero star, I would. Went this weekend. Has absolutely no atmosphere. Like walking into a sterile operating room. Marshmallows and ice cream had a strange chemical taste. Ewe. Ice cream very oily, texture of Crisco lard,. Ive never thrown ice cream away before, but I did this. Not cheap and money down the drain. Service was not attentive, talking behind counter to each other and not friendly. Wont be back.

A trip to Sanford is not complete without a visit to Wondermade! Some of the best Ice Cream in Orlando (the cornbread is crazy good), and the smores are delicious. Great vintage feel inside, my husband and I even did our engagement photos there!

This is such a cute place located in downtown Sanford. It has great options, and their vegan ice cream is awesome. They also have brownie waffle cones that are definitely for the chocolate lovers.

All the flavors are great but what draws us here is the smore ice cream bar. Toasted marshmallows on top, which they toast right there, fudge on the bottom. So good!

This shop is beautiful and the marshmallows, although expensive, are yummy. I really want to love Wondermade (as it’s the only ice cream shop serving downtown Sanford at the moment) but after multiple visits I have to admit the ice cream is just not good. I have to wonder if this plays a role in the shop being empty during busy summer weekends. I have ordered/sampled a wide range of flavors (ice cream, sorbets, and vegan ice cream) and I have never found one that allows me to finish the entire small cup (and this NEVER happens in my family of eaters). The flavors are cloyingly sweet, the textures are off (peanut butter and jelly I’m talking to you), and there’s just something really unpleasant and muddied about the flavors they serve. I often find myself wishing for straightforward offerings that can be enjoyed in this cute shop. Not a fan as it stands.

Definitely not one for homemade anything, especially food since it can either be really good or really bad. But the ladies at wonder made really have a good thing going. We had a wonderful Date Night tonight! Thanks to Wondermade! The salted caramel marshmallow is delish. Especially with the sprinkles. The sweet corn bread ice cream is to die for! So is the upside down pineapple! Everyone that works there is soo friendly too! I will definitely be back with my grandchildren.

Misleading advertising.If you look at their website, theres a picture of the Fireball marshmallows, for instance, next to a bottle of Fireball. Well, not exactly NEXT to the bottle - The bottle is set in the background, to give the illusion that the box is bigger than what it is.In reality, the boxes of these marshmallows are TINY, and fit in the palm of your hand. Thats right, these are TINY little marshmallows in a TINY box that looks almost the size of a deck of cards. A complete rip-off for $9.00.Are the marshmallows good? Yes, but theyre not special enough to charge 9 bucks for a tiny box. Very disappointed.

I saw this place on my way to the weekly Farmers market Downtown. There was a young man outside handing out samples. He didnt speak or offer us any, but I didnt think much of it at the moment.On our way to the car I figured wed check the ice cream shop out. My 4year old daughter was super excited! We walked in and there were two young men behind the counter talking. No one greeted us as we walked in. We went over to the counter to check out the flavors. My daughter was picking what shed like and still no one acknowledged all four of us standing at the counter. No one said hello or even asked how can we help you. We picked our flavors and by that time I wasnt too pleased. I told my family aloud well go get ice cream somewhere else. Somewhere they actually acknowledge you.My daughter was disappointed, but we went down to Dairy Queen where we were served Ice cream by friendly faces.Very displeased with the customer service here. Even the one customer during inside spoke and sparked up a conversation with my daughter. Yet they totally ignored us all.

This is one place you must explore. In historical Sanford and worth the wait if there is a line. The marshmallows are so soft and there are many flavors...worth the money. Get some ice cream while you are at it.
