The team is prompt, responsive, accurate and most of all they work together to get you out of there fast and efficiently. You would never have to question this doctors or it’s staffs integrity. Dr Ben Larson he is absolutely amazing! He is a complete perfectionist when it comes to your vision. He is also charming and knowledgeable about all aspects of eye care. Everyone in the entire office is always kind, patient and helpful. Dr. Larson saved my ski trip this year because thanks to him, I was able to read the signs on the mountains because of my Ortho K contacts. I didn’t have to wear glasses or contacts in the cold weather which was wonderful. Dr. Larson and Ortho K are the perfect combination for an active lifestyle! they have every means of advanced testing for your vision. Your eyes are important and of course, seeing is believing. Dr. Ben Larson is caring and his team has the latest in advanced technology to make sure your eyes get the very best technology has to offer. We only get one pair of eyes, so only the best will do for me and you should feel the same way. Because of Dr. Larsons long tenure as a doctor, he can spot and see things in your eyes some doctors miss.

I made an appointment about a year ago. I received their postcard confirming my appointment. I drove 30 minutes each way for the sole purpose of an eye exam.When I arrived they told me I didnt have an appointment.They cancelled my appointment because I had not replied to a text message. Like most people, I dont pay attention to texts from numbers I dont recognize.This seems like a very poor process. I effectively had to opt-in to an appointment I had already made with them.They didnt call me to tell me that they had canceled my appointment.Very poor customer service.UPDATE: Dr. Larson made multiple attempts to connect with me as he has said below. We finally did connect on a Saturday. I appreciate his effort in making this right, and from the sound of it he will take corrective measures with his staff to avoid future issues with their customers. Im revising my rating from a 1 to a 4 based on my interaction with him. He is a very good optometrist and an excellent manager as well from the sound of it.

Dr. Ben Larson and his staff were simply wonderful to me, on several occasions. I was dealing with a scratched cornea - which happened several times - and the entire team was compassionate and understanding. Dr. Ben gave me excellent care and helped me understand what was happening at every stage. After the last time, he discussed with me the underlying issues and is working with me to address those problems to avoid the pain of a scratched cornea again. I recommend him to everyone for eye care. And, the rest of his team is kind, cheerful, and really delightful!

My compliments to Tracie, Shannon & Kaitlin who provided wonderful customer service yesterday the 11th. I had an eyeglass frame issue & they all were wonderful !!

While the doctors and staff seem friendly and dutiful, there are problems with billing. Each time I repeat that I need to know how much certain tests will cost before we have the tests and each time Im told that we have great insurance and it will not cost anything. Then we get bills in the mail. Different amounts for each person as well. Billing then shows strangely too. I have had repeated conversations about this over the years and I am sad to say that we will be leaving this office. They just cant guarantee how much a visit or tests will cost. It has always felt like they are now trying to get more money out us. Do not trust what they say when you come in for testing!

I had a great visit to the office. The staff and doctor were very friendly and the wait time was minimal. I had an issue with the billing but Dr. Ben Larson reached out to me and went above and beyond to take care of the problem.

Dr. Ben fitted me for Ortho K. He got the prescription perfect. Saw 20/20 the first day following sleeping in the corrective lenses. We were completely informed as to what we might expect and how the lenses would work as well as what maintenance was required. The staff was extremely professional and courteous. The office was extremely clean and beautiful, and they took every possible precaution with Covid to ensure our safety as well as the safety of their other clients and staff. Advanced Eye Care is the best of the best!!!

In the meantime I got glasses somewhere else. I will be picking up my glasses on July 3rd while I wait for my other pair. Again I think the pandemic caused my experience, but it was still bizarre I couldn’t get to pick from the shelves. Imagine buying a car, but only the sales person picked the cars. You’d feel like you could get ripped off. That’s how I felt. Still recommend getting the eye exam here though!———————————— ——————————— —This was my first visit to this office as I normally go to Target Optical. This office got me in the quickest. As a customer looking to have a routine eye exam and to purchase new glasses, I consider three things when writing a review: the appointment experience, the shopping experience, and the staff.Appointment Experience:The appointment itself was quick. Normally this would be a great thing, because eye appointments can take forever. I think it was borderline rushed, but they were limiting people in the building due to the pandemic. (This is also understandable because they had other patients waiting in the car.) I more-so felt rushed during the glasses selection, but I’ll get to that later. The transition from intake, to the tests, to the optometrist and everything else was seamless. The office has a weird calmness to it. It almost looks like a high-end spa!Shopping Experience:This is what is causing my review to be 3 stars. Due to the pandemic, I was unable to pick out my own glasses. The retail associate took my glasses and picked 3 pairs “closest to what I was currently wearing.” He didn’t even ask me questions on what I wanted. He picked them at his discretion. Two of the pairs he picked were ugly and not even close to what I was wearing. One pair, the pair I settled on, wound up being the most expensive. I was not given another opportunity to look at other glasses.(which is why I settled on the pair I did.) I haven’t received my pair yet, but I’m thinking of cancelling the order because I could have found a better pair so I didn’t feel like I settled. This whole shopping experience rubbed me the wrong way. I understand it’s during a pandemic, but as a customer I should be able to choose my glasses.The staff:Optometry staff was great and friendly. The doctor was very thorough. Honestly I’d probably come here for my future eye appointments and go elsewhere for my glasses. No complaints with the staff. I believe the retail experience was more-so a temporary store policy so I don’t blame him for the awful experience except picking ugly glasses.

This was by far, the most comprehensive and thorough eye exam I have ever had! No long waiting; staff was very polite and courteous; doctor explained everything in easy to understand terms; state-of-the-art equipment.The only negative, in my opinion, is that the cost for eyeglasses/frames could be more competitive.

Best eye doctor Ive been to in Central Florida. The service and care were incredible. The technology was impressive and allowed me to learn something about my eyes that I never knew and proved to be extremely important. Im excited to call Advanced EyeCare my new home. Great experience all around.

Dr. Larson/Vincent and MacDonald were awesome getting my 11 year old started with ortho-k. They made it so easy for her with the transition, and taught her a couple of age-appropriate tricks to make everything easier for her to manage the contacts. By the way, she is doing FANTASTIC with the treatment and LOVES the fact that she can do all her sports/dancing/horseback riding WITHOUT her glasses anymore! She absolutely loves the freedom!

Great service, Dr. Ben is very thorough. He checks every aspect of your eyes, not just the vision, but the health of your eyes too. The staff is great too, they always make me smile, and are very helpful. They assisted in frame selection and gave me some great advise. This is the Best, the BEST, doctors office we visit. Every year I leave seeing better (obviously) and feeling like I am doing the best thing for my vision. I only get one set of eyes and while my set is not that great every time I walk out I know they have gotten me to the best place for my vision, and it always takes extra time. Great Place, Staff is friendly and Doctors are top notch. Better than my old eye doctor in the midwest, he was a this is your only option kinda guy. It is probably not as cheap as a chain store but dang it is worth it!!!!!

Great Place & People!! Very up-to-date, high tech equipment. Some tests Ive never been given at any other Eye Dr. or Eyeglass company. All the employees are very nice, and extremely knowledgeable.

I have been treated by Dr. Ben for years. He manages my glaucoma and my routine care, and I have referred at least six people who continue to see him as their eye care professional. Not only is he excellent, but his entire staff measures up to his very stringent requirements. Its a great atmosphere where you can be assured you are getting the highest quality care.

This place is great! The staff is friendly and Dr Christy and Dr Ben are so knowledgeable. Ive never had any problems here. The only complaint I have is about a young female doctor who spoke rudely to me during a visit. I was able to address the problem with Dr Christy and she handled it well. Thanks for being great.

Dr Ben Larson is very easy to understand when he talks to you about your eye care. He explains things very thorough and has very good people skills. Hes the kind of doctor you wish all your doctors were like.I would most definitely reccomend Advanced Eyecare. You wont find a nicer staff.

Other than the office does not accept Davis Insurance, and my out of pocket cost for my glasses using my own frames was $700.00 plus dollars and the visit was $95.00 or so, I really like the doctors. I will have to get my glasses elsewhere though because that is just way over the top in price for me.

I appreciated the time and care I was given at the office, starting with check in. The doctor and her assistant answered all of my questions and seemed genuinely determined to meet my needs. I highly recommend them.

Dispite problems with my insurance, Advanced Eye Cares staff went all out to make sure I got the glasses I need. Dr Ben Larson and the medical staff were great and the exam they performed was far and above anything I have ever experienced in 5 years of wearing glasses. Their office makes full use of the available technology to ensure that you get a thorough and comfortable exam that results in the correct perscription to correct your vision. I am so greatful to Dr. Ben Larson. I had scratched my eye pretty badly and the pain was really bad. Thankfully Dr Larson was open on Saturday and he took such good care of me. Dr. Ben recommended I try Ortho-K lens; hard contacts worn at night while you sleep, as I did not want to wear glasses or soft contacts during the day. He patiently dealt with the fitting process as well as the follow up visits to make sure the results were perfect. And they are! For the 1st time in 30 years I do not need glasses to drive or read.Both my wife and I have been patients of Dr. Ben since coming to Florida 11 years ago and see no reason to go anywhere else. Yes, a little more expensive, but when it comes to something as important as my eyes, I want the best. And I get that with Dr. Ben.

When they called us the first time they had to reschedule an appointment we made a year ago. When they called to confirm after the change I asked them if we needed to do anything or need additional information they said no. We arrived for our appointment after having to leave work early and take my son out of school they tell me they need additional paperwork for the year which I cannot access now that Im at the appointment. What a huge waste of time.

My favorite Eye doctors ever... I have had probably over 15 different eye doctors throughout the years growing up as a military brat. But in Central Florida Ive had at least 4 and I always reccomend the Larsons after going to them now for over 10 years. They are the best.... If having a doctor that cares (or at least acts like they care) is important to you I highly reccomend them.

I went to Advance eye care last year. Total rip off! First of all, the appointment took forever. They just leave you sitting in the exam room for over an hour. The Dr. could not get my prescription right, and each time the price of the contacts would go up by $100!The staff was nasty and oh, they try to slide in a $25 fee and dont tell you about it. Scam! I went to a different Dr finally and got the correct prescription bought glasses and contacts and was not over charged. BEWARE

I would like to thank Dr Larson and his staff for the excellant care i recieved. My vsion is very poor, but with the team work of Jennifer, Kaily and Dr Larson, I was properly fitted with new contacts and glasses. I have been wearing glasses for over 50 years, my vision has never been better since seeing Dr Larson.The staff was always helpful and friendly.I would highly recommend Advanced Eyecare for your eye care.Thank you again
