An absolute delight. I always find more than what Im looking for at great prices. Their produce and dairy products are good quality. If you can shop here often I recommend getting their app and saving even more.

Lidl is my go to store for my grocery staples. Tell me where else you can go get milk for $1.50 a gallon and eggs for under a dollar a dozen. Great fresh local produce as well. Milk has been so reasonable lately that I have been making my own cheese. Grana padano anyone? Too bad it takes nine months to see if its any good.

Almost always has friendly staff and is rarely crowded. Well stocked and fairly clean. The prices of course make it a wonderful place to shop.

Store clean and bright. Well stocked shelves and many unique items. Great fresh in house baked goods. Highly recommend the crossiants.

More of a diverse selection of meats and cheeses than other locations grocery stores. Many of the Lidl store brand options are better quality and less expensive than other store brands. It’s a good place to purchase staples such as breads, frozen vegetables, canned foods, rice, etc

You cant go wrong with European chocolates, or those scented peppermint branches

I buy 98% of my groceries here and spent 75% less than I would at Walmart or food lion. Ive never been disappointed with their brands or the food.

Very clean store. We purchased, and saw many items that were as much as a dollar less than Walmart. Well stocked, with tons of savings. This was a great find.

Great quality produce but higher prices. If you track there coupons you can do pretty well. Everyday shopping is pricey however.

I’ve been shopping regularly at Lidl for many years now. I was interested in seeing how a US shop compares to those at home in Germany! I wish that our local branch was as good as this one. A pleasant shopping environment, airy and clean, although loudspeaker music spoils it somewhat. An excellent selection of goods at excellent prices. The pricing is clear and free of the confusion present in many competitors, designed to hide the true cost. Lidl doesn’t do this. Highly recommended. Method: go to Lidl first, you’ll get most of your needs. Then finish off shopping at any other (higher-priced) store.

Clean, affordable, friendly staff, best of all speedy checkout. After finding this store, havent gone back to Aldis.

I stopped shopping at Costco because shopping at Lidl is so much easier.And I believe for me a better value.

I got every thing I needed and the fresh vegis were very fresh.

Very cool place. Discount prices without brands youve never heard of. Surprisingly decent produce and meat selection especially for the organic/free range crowd for a store in Sanford, NC. Helpful staff. Only real complaint is occasionally long lines due to understaffing. Not a personell issue just not enough people want to work in retail. Because its retail. Also, speaking of retail shouts out to the guy who allows casheirs to sit down when their not busy just to get off their feet for like 30 secs. The real MVP

Was looking forward to checking this store out. Was not impressed. Limited selection and prices no better than other stores. Gave them two starts because the bakery did have some good items and the store was very clean. Very few German products, the reason I was wanting to check the store out.

Great place to shop when youre not in a hurry. Many items you wont find elsewhere. Theres always a couple of special deals, but you have to look for them. Enjoy a trip to investigate!

My first time shopping at this store. I really like this place! Great stuff at great prices! Not only do they have food, but also a variety of random items. Ill be back next time and am interested in seeing what random items they will have.

I just love this store.

Great produce and vary of selections, with plenty of organic options all around. They had their own bakery which smelled lovely. I thought there would be more vegan options (cheeses and butters and almond milk coffee creamer to name a few) but there werent any. Got a cart slam full for $100! Would definitely shop there again!

They have a good variety, good prices, and friendly, helpful employees. One of my favorite places to grocery shop.

Lidl does a great job, theyre terrific little stores full of high quality products at excellent prices. Id love to see even more European products that we dont see here often.The Sanford location is only ok as far as Lidls go, things seem a little more haphazard, and the bakery seems more of an afterthought, usually with only a minimum amount of products on the shelves (and pretzels that have been out for too long.)

Love this grocery store. You get way more for your money, the store is clean, employees are nice and the items are just as great as at any other grocery store.

Great wine selection and fantastic prices

Their prices on food are reasonable and fresh to go grocery shopping compare to Walmart or food lion. i usually get the pizza breadsticks if they have any which is pretty tasty.

After being told my medical issue did not qualify and that a mask was required we went to Food Lion instead. That is an automatic hefty fine to make a medical determination with no background or legal justification. Until they lift this left supporting narrative we will be going to Food Lion from now on. Sad, we like their store.

Great place. They have the best baked bread, rolls and cookies. Baked fresh every day.

I left without buying anything. They did not have the one advertised item that I particularly went after. It was on the front page of their circular. This has happened to me before and I decided this would be the last time I went and didnt get what I went for and still bought some of their merchandise. I left what was in my cart and went to Food Lion instead. The sale prices lined right up with what I had in my cart.

Im really disappointed by the way this store has gone downhill. At first this was a great store with great people. Now most the staff is rude and any stockers will nearly knock you over without a word. Things are always out of stock now, and I can understand COVID causing some of this. But its more than that, its things to that are not out anywhere else. Hope this changes and I can raise the rating back up.

Okay, I love Lidl I can’t lie. I’ve been to several of them and this one is awesome! The deals here are incredible and it’s pretty quiet in the morning. I felt we pretty much had the place to ourselves which is great if you have a fussy kid like I do. I noticed they didn’t have quite the selection as some of the other stores like the ones near Raleigh, but the produce and bakery was incredible. I mean have you tried those hazelnut cream filled croissants? I haven’t had anything as tasty in a pastry outside of Paris. The employees were super helpful, this is one of our favorite haunts. Keep it up Lidl!

I started using Lidl during my time Europe, where they are very common.This location is modern, spacious, and with lots of variety. You can find the basic stuff that you can find in any supermarket, but most importantly you can find more ‘specialty’ European products also. Their prices are overall very good. I have not had any problems with any of their private label products.Overall, this is a much better alternative to other markets. Much better crowd here too. I make the drive from North Fayetteville just to come here once a week, so that should tell you a lot about what I think of this place.Remember to bring your own bags! (They don’t provide plastic/paper bags)I hope they keep expanding!

It seems an upscale Aldis. Bring your own bags off brand products although the selection on fresh produce and breads was impressive. Prices were not bad. Well lit and clean, though the shopping carts and corrals were littered with trash.

I love shopping here, the store is always so clean and organized. The staff is friendly and efficient - the best part?! I can stay within my budget for groceries and home goods. Love Lidl!

I used to like coming to this store very much, but it seems to be going downhill. They are always out of the broccoli crowns I like, heavy cream and many other items. Shelves, coolers and freezers are often bare. Good luck finding sale items, but I suppose thats the nature of while supplies last. Worst of all is the attitude of the employees. Yesterday a cashier Id never seen before didnt even acknowledge me when I got into line. Just rude. Only a few more chances, and Ill stop shopping here. Its a shame, because its the closest store to my house, and I like the concept and the prices. Someone from the company should come, take a look and fix it.

I LOVE this new (to us)store. Perfect balance of foods for higher end palettes with lower prices that fit my budget. I had no idea that they had a fresh bakery and such beautiful produce. Well organized and layed out open air feel. Our cashier was remarkably pleasant. It was a pleasure to shop for a change!

I hate all grocery stores that make you pay for bags

I walked in for the first time today. It is a very big, open store. When you enter the bakery is the first thing you encounter. As I looked at the baked goods an employee came up and asked if I needed help finding anything, I said no, first time here. He explained their pricing and the app. I went on browsing the wide isles. They are not a fancy store but very clean. It seemed that most items they sold have a Lidl brand to choose. Not many name brands, packaging looks like name brand but not. Big windows help with lighting but today was a chilly drizzly day so store was not very bright inside. Had lights just not like sun shining in. No grocery bags so bring your own. Good prices and fresh produce.

What a cool store! Clean, organized, very nice prices and a great variety of foods. The meat looked fresh. They had several lamb cuts, veal, Black Angus and all the standards.We did not see the whole store. I believe there were some clothing and household items, but we had just stopped in to see what foods they had. We noticed it when we drove through town and had heard great things but hadnt seen a Lidl before.Will definitely go back, or to the one in Greensboro.

Lidl is an amazing store and Im thankful there is one in Sanford. The baked goods are delicious, especially the pretzels and muffins. The produce selection is nice and there is usually a good sale going on. I purchase all my weekly groceries staples there- milk, cheese, eggs and such but I still have to go to conventional stores to fill in the gaps, like for my preferred face wash and such. Overall you cant beat the deals, friendly staff and quality.

Lidl has a great variety of products from produce to seafood, baked goods, wine and more. The prices are great and they have great customer service. I was also impressed by the cleanliness of the store.

Great prices, fresh produce, awesome selection of products. Their brand of stuff is just as good if not better sometimes. The diapers are a great value. We also love the kids clothes and shoes that they have in the variety area.

Lidl is a German owned store that in America sells very few German items. In the u.s. they mainly sell regular grocery items. They have a different way of handling there sales that some people may find strange. You have to purchase or bring your own bags to put your items in and you have to bag those items yourself. They are very well stocked and also carry some seasonal items. Their prices are average but some deals can be found especially on milk and eggs. They also have an in store bakery.

Great as and as always I spend too much money as there is such a wonderful selection and always fresh.
