This is an older DQ. They have put effort into giving it some curb appeal. Its a free standing building. We got the dairy free Dilly Bar. The young man behind the counter was friendly and provided good customer service.

A+... Cute, convenient location but very busy... covid precautions are on point. Good customer service and even though the line was outrageous we got our food pretty fast. Best of all!! They make the waffle bowls and waffle cones fresh to order! Really good... would recommend for a fast and delicious sweet treat. A+

It was one of those off the wall, old timey DQs, and I loved it! Right off the highway, crew was super nice, and gave service with a smile! Very satisfied!

I do like the classic feel of the place, but theres not really any seating, or ac. And they dont serve the meals your can find at other ones, just the deserts. Still not bad place to check out if youre in the area.

This location has been around for 20 plus years and one thing remains, is the consistency. The quality of desserts and customers service. My order is always correct and handed to me with a smile. During Covid they practiced social distancing and still do.Very delightful experience.

This is the best DQ in the country. Small shop over 60 years old and the quality is amazing. Great ice cream, smiling staff and very welcoming to all. If in Sanford put this on your must stop here list.

I love their banana split. This is the best Dairy Queen around. They also have doggy ice cream.

I must say....I have been delightfully surprised with the service provided by Simojay. I asked for a Carmel Sundae and he gave me a work of art. He was also kind, courteous, professional and prompt. I feel Simojay deserves an award beyond a raise. My only regret was that I didnt get a chance to take a picture. Thank you Dairy Queen for making my day brighter and for being consistently awesome for 46 years.

Usually pretty packed and not the best parking when it is. But overall great customer service and fast employees. Lovely place for a hot day.

Been going to our local DQ for years. Last 2 times I stood waiting for my order as those after me were served theirs. I only had one item each time. It was as though I was invisible. No explanation either time as to why they skipped my order. I wont be giving them a third chance.

They had really good ice cream. Thou that is all they serve... Im used to Dairy Queens that serve it all but I really enjoyed going an having ice cream with my kids.

Amazing new strawberry shortcake cupfection perfect size and priced fairly. Also of coarse a banana split strawberry,chocolate, and caramel with nuts. Staff was super friendly and very informative.

This one has been around since the stone age. lol. Cool old style building. The DQ treats and ice cream are as good as always. This location does not serve food and no indoor seating. If you want an old time experience this is the place. Service is fast and polite.Be aware this place is almost always packed. Still you get through the line fast. They do have a funky setup of covid cones out front. Youll see.

Great fast service. Very organized for an older, smaller Dairy Queen.

Never had a problem here, but whoever was making blizzards tonight they might as well have just been milkshakes, she over blended them. A couple of us got the same Oreo cheesecake blizzard and they were the same. Other than that this place is great, pic of the last time I went and got a little extra love from DQ❤️

I dont know what happen tonight but I made a big order and when I got home my bugerd was sloppy on top of EVERYTHING MY BUGER WAS RAW. THE MEAT WAS NOT COOK AT ALL. Please be careful next time you serve the food make sure its cooked before you serve it

A nice quick stop on a hot day

Dairy Queen in Sanford is the old school Dairy Queen feel. Very nostalgic as a walk-up ice cream stop. I wish they did have the ability to grill and offer cooked food but it is still a great place. Because its Florida, a little more awning to extend over the walkway would be great. Especially since us faithful Ice cream lovers will stand in line in the rain for DQ! However, Im giving 4 stars because 25% of the time, my Blizzard is incorrect but they always fix it or make me another one with no issue. Its just their uber busy.
