BE WARNED, THIS BUSINESS IS NOT COMPLYING WITH THE GOVERNOR’S MANDATE TO REQUIRE MASKS! I visited today at 2:15 pm, there were 4 employees and 4 customers NOT wearing masks. When i asked the person greeting me at the door she grabbed one off the counter and put it on. When i realized no one else was wearing one i left. I am so SAD, I have really liked doing business here but i will not be returning!

Cannot say enough wonderful things about House of Lights and especially Suzanne Edwards! She has been such a delight to work with and so patient with me and making so many changes for our new house in Southern PInes NC. Just visited there on December 29, 2020 and she had her mask on and made sure I felt safe inside the studio.

Our consultant was Phillip. Our experience was excellent. He could walk in your house and suggest the perfect lighting. Excellent eye for detail. Recommended to us by a local business in Moore county.

Although the selection is decent, the customer service is EXTREMELY LACKING. Sales rep, Kent, conducts himself in a such a manner that it feels as though the customer is there to serve him--not the other way around. Generally, every request Ive made regarding placing an order or the status of my order has been treated as a giant inconvenience--WHEN THEY PROVIDE NO STATUS UPDATE. Why bother shopping there when you can go to Wayfair? (at least they want to hear from you and make every effort to accommodate you, the customer.) They need a serious refresher in real customer service.

Have been a customer for at least 10 years. Staff is always courteous, very knowledgeable and they stand behind their products.Purchased many fixtures and ceiling fans/lights. Did not realize they had life time warranties. The staff has helped me get one fan repaired and has replaced another at no cost to me, even though the original company no longer is in business.Kent and Phillip have always treated me as the most important customer they have. Even though I am just a, normal every day kind of custmer.

While the store has a nice selection of lights and a nice layout, the customer service needs work, specifically Kent. I was not impressed with his way of making me feel rushed and like a number. He answered phone calls making plans for the night. once I picked my selection, he told me he would email the list the next business day with pricing; that never happened. My husband and I had to call for the details and once we made it up the to purchase, he treated us as if we work for him. Kent told us he gave us free bulbs but we were charged for them. he told us he would call when the fixtures came in but did not do that. We had to call and yes they were in. Went same day to pick up and when I walked in he looked at me and looked away like he did not see a paying customer, the ONLY customer in the store at that so why ignore me. I walked to the counter and told the manager i was there to pick up my lights and he sent Kent to get them. Once the electrician put up the lights, we found 2 fixtures to be broken and one in the wrong color.
