This was a very exciting day for me and my wife. Our car came 2 weeks early. Pulling in looking for our stall number was the most exciting part of our day! Jamie came out to meet us and walked us set up our profiles and walked us through everything and answered all of our questions. He was very patient and pleasant with us. We libe our new car. A customer for life.

I chose this dealership as pickup location for my new Tesla. Everything was incredibly simple. Signing documents and submitting payment took less than 5 minutes on the website. For my delivery appointment, they called me an UberX to take me to the dealership. Pickup itself took no longer than 10 minutes. The best car purchase experience Ive ever had!

Purchased a 2021 Tesla Model S. The car has spent more time at the service center, than being driven by me. With just 400 miles on the vehicle, it had a catastrophic failure and had to be towed from my residence to the service center. The car spent nearly two weeks at the service center and I was advised they didnt have a clue what was wrong and was waiting for corporate Tesla service to advise them. I finally got the vehicle back, and a week later, a software update bricked the vehicle. The mobile Tesla service came out two separate days and were unable to fix the car. The car was towed for the second time in three weeks. I left several messages for the service team to explain what was going on and received no call back. Horrible service and horrible vehicle. I dont have any trust in this vehicle, and I am very concerned it will leave me stranded somewhere with my young kids. For an expensive vehicle, this is the worst car I have ever owned. DO NOT buy the new Model S, it has major issues. Dont even get me started on the constant loud whistling noise, when driving the car. Now I am stuck fighting with Tesla over the lemon law and for the company to step up and do whats right. This whole ordeal has been a NIGHTMARE!

Went for a test drive in a Model 3. Andrea greeted me and helped me out throughout my test drive experience. As a sales manager, I know that the most important part of a customers experience is the person they work with! Andrea was very knowledgable, charismatic, and a joy to work with. My experience with her, as well as the test drive, were big drivers in my decision to place an order for a Model 3. Thank you Andrea!

Sales team may be great, but the service department is horrendously bad. I’ve been there three times for three issues, and have had three bad experiences. Two of the issues remain unresolved. One of them they were “unable to duplicate” (which is laughable) and the other time they were unable to look at my car within FIVE HOURS OF MY APPOINTMENT TIME. Apparently I need to drive up to the Bay Area and hope for competent service? If I knew it would be this hard to get the car worked on, I would have bought something else.

I bring the car to fix some issues at 9:45 am until 5:40 pmThey didnt fix the plastic noise from driver side because they say its normal... and its not.Feels bad to spent all day waiting and driving for an answer like its normal

Definitely one of the best car purchase experience, no haggling, no hours spent at dealership, no mind tricks and no stress!! We traded in our 2019 VW eGolf for MY, arrived early, couldnt contain our excitement! We had a checklist for vehicle inspection and pointed out a few minor issues which got adjusted right away. Have the car now for over 2 months and absolutely love it!!

For the most part, a good experience, but just found out I missed out on incentive rebates because they didnt feel the need to advise me on rebates. I missed the eligibility one because now that I just found out about it, its past the 90 day window for the income eligibility rebate, which based on my income, I couldve received an increased incentive. I would recommend going to a different Tesla dealership because here they dont tell you anything. My ex is also getting a Tesla from here now, and they havent helped her do anything. they keep telling her just to do it herself on the website, as well as her trade in on the website. Someone who isnt tech savvy is going to know how to, or feel comfortable doing it themselves, and these people wont assist her. And as usual, they havent even mentioned the rebate incentives to her. Overall, go somewhere else to ensure you get all the info you deserve from salespersons who care enough to fill you in.I MISSED OUT ON $4,500 rebate because of these guys, and Im a single father of 2 with no great income, this wouldve REALLY helped!!!!

Scheduled a test drive for a M3 but once I got there they stated that there was another customer that wanted to test drive the LR M3 after us and we would’ve needed to hurry a bit. Sheamus(sorry if I’m spelling your name wrong) and Aaron were super helpful and suggested that I could take a MY instead and take my time. My wife and I also brought our 4 month old to test and see how the car seat would fit, we tested it both in the M3 and MY. Now I just have to decide which one I would actually want, their team are not pressuring you into making any commitments. Wonderful experience. Thank you guys !

I love my Tesla! I bought it a year ago. A couple of weeks ago a rock flew up and cracked my windscreen and roof top glass. I booked the repair appointment and had the best service from the team. The drop off team was so nice at time of arrival. The best part about this was the constant communication from the service team via SMS Text. Jacob in particular was so helpful and honest. Jacob kept me in the loop on everything they were doing and when the car was going to be ready. It is service like this that makes me love the Tesla brand even more! Keep up the good service. Everyone there was in PPE and made me feel safe for leaving my baby with them for a few days. Thank you Santa Barbara Tesla!! You guys rock.

I visited the SB local in September to check out the Model Y. I was promptly greeted by Sheamus. After a brief introduction on both sides I started to ask a bit more in depth questions. Sheamus took the time to explain everything to me but not before asking if I had the time to delve into detailed explanation, which I sincerely appreciated.Every question I had was promptly answered, and if he was not sure he did his research and got back to me. I am from out of state and was in town for military business, and informed him that I would be purchasing the vehicle when I got back to my home state of Colorado.Sheamus provided the type of support that is almost unheard of in the automobile industry. He followed up with me to make sure all my questions were being answered after I had returned home.I ended up purchasing a Model Y back in Colorado but Sheamus was there every step of the way. He is truly an asset to the Tesla family and I appreciate him and all his efforts. Sheamus, you are without a doubt an expert in your craft. I cant thank you enough.

Fabulous customer service! Andrea was very friendly and provided great information about the Teslas - we enjoyed learning about the Tesla 3 and was able to take it for a test drive!!! I purchase Tesla X in 2017 - since then I have had continuous issues with my window (for almost 3 years I have been told that it is because of my dirty window), even after going to the carwash the issue would still persists.Same thing with my backup camera (once it was replaced) did not help for too long.The other issue is voice control : it never works! Tesla told me to report bugs after via voice control (it never works) after I argued their recommendations to take notes of all issues that happen on a road (what would one think to recommend taking notes when I am driving - is not that putting my life in danger?)Ive been going to these useless appointments where I am being blamed for every issue as if it a dirty car or user error. My 2000 $ purse was stolen as the back falcon door piriodicaly opens itself, as well as the window Ive had issues with (I keep my keyfob in a case that makes it very diifficult to press it until you intentionally press it - nevertheles when I was in a hospital the door opened and my purse was stolen, dealership told me that it was because I pressed the key fob - and I did not do that plus I was out of range.I asked for the managers call and been waiting for it for over a month now. They tell me they are busy and they have other clients, they lie to me about all the issues. I am desparate and do not know what to do. here you fo $120K purchase!

I purchased the car and I have had it less than a week. The charging cable was not working right which I knew for a fact. No matter how many times I told the service guy, he kept giving me excuses and reasons why it was not working telling me it was. After repeating myself 5 times, he told me just to get a mobile service. So, he wanted to waste my time and spend wasted money on having someone come to me house. I went up front to talk to the Manager of the place and no one knew her name which she was new and not there. Lucky a salesperson listen and just switched out my cable which is why I went in the first place.The service guy was smug and really didnt care. He could use a lesson on customer service. I will use the mobile service and stay as far from the place as possible.P.S. The sales, delivery team were great! Thanks

An excellent car! Andrea explained how everything worked, and have is a very low pressure sales experience. I highly recommend the car, and the sales professional.

Tesla vehicles are always a pleasure to drive compared to ANY other car. Plus cost of maintenance (in time as well as dollars) and insurance is less than other cars Ive owned. Having mobile maintenance as an option is also great. Over the air updates make my 2015 Model S better than the day I purchased it and still much better than any other non-Tesla car. Customer-centric mode of business by a company that really cares about doing good in the world makes Tesla unique.

Incredible! Tesla is an experience like no other. Great showroom / service center. Best cars ever. Now, just sitting at an intersection with a Tesla nearby, seeing one pass by (nearly minute by minute on the road) or simply poised elagantly in charge stall -- remind me that Tesla brings the dawn of a new Era in transportation, energy and sustainability... elegance. I feel foolish waiting in line at Costco for gas and wonder how we have given ourselves so totally to the domination of petroleum. Astounding. Oh, to drive one ... simply a must. Nothing prepares one for the Tesla drive. All new. Schedule or just walk-in, but. by all means test drive a Tesla.

I have been going here for 4+ years and am always treated fairly and respectfully. I never have the feeling that Im being ripped off and in fact the couple of times where I had a repair that could have fallen either way (my cost or theirs) Tesla has eaten the cost. Purchased a used Model X and was delivered to Santa Barbara. We had issues with another Tesla location (wont get into details) but was so happy with how SB handled everything! Communication was amazing! They even ordered me an Uber to pick me up from the rental car company that I was at! The staff was super helpful and they went out of their way to help me. So happy with my experience at Tesla Santa Barbara!

The Service department goes above and beyone to help out! They have always taken great care of me since they day they opened the SB location. It goes without saying, being nice to the people that fix problems helps too. Some people tend to forget that the people working the service department did not make, design, or cause your vehicle issues! They are just there to help you get the issues resolved.

I bought a brand new Model 3 from Tesla. I pre-ordered the car before they even announced it. I want to love Tesla, but they make it very difficult. I have owned the car for a year now and it has been a nightmare. I have had to take my car in now seven times for various repairs. Most recently, I took my vehicle in for an issue that has repeated itself 3 times. Tesla held on to my car for a week, only to tell me there is nothing wrong with it. I am now having to involve a lawyer to get my car fixed.When you take your car in for service the center will typically refuse to give you a loaner, unless after a day they cant fix your car, at which point they will drive one out to you. Also, even if you car sits on their lot for a week, they will NOT wash it. I think Tesla might be the only luxury car brand that gives dirty cars back to their customers. Tesla will also cancel your service appointments and give you ZERO warning.I am willing to change this review if Tesla does the right thing and fixes my issues. I am disappointed in the level of service Tesla has delivered.

Extremely helpful staff and great service - They have gone beyond with service and customer support. I was given a 100D as a loaner while they worked on a recall and drive unit issue. Once completed they delivered my car 2 hours north so I wouldnt have to go all the way back down. Cant say enough about how great this place is.

Ive had my Model S for over 4 years and 80,000 miles of happy driving. Of the various Tesla service centers I have used over the years, Santa Barbara has been excellent. Actually, they are all excellent, Santa Barbara has the benefit of being less busy and a much nicer lounge area than the others in LA.

Very good at showing you the car. Not good if you actually buy one. No initiative or contact after we placed our order; had to call to get delivery dates and lease paperwork. $92,000 error charged to our bank account which we had to fix ourselves. Had to track the manager down to even talk to him about it. Not a good experience. The service dept has been pretty good so far...

The SB service team is beyond friendly and the sales team is amazing. I hate going to car dealerships, but at Tesla there’s no pressure to buy at all. It’s more like a art gallery than a dealership, and technically it’s not a dealership at all. I love my model x and I highly doubt I’ll ever drive another brand of car again. Supercharging makes long distance travel easy and free. My car is like a space ship. And every minute issue I’ve had has been promptly fixed at the service center. If you’re considering buying a Tesla, stop considering and pull the trigger, I’ve never talked to anyone who has regretted that decision. Join the rest of us in the future.

I drive a tow truck and had to drop off a tesla at about 10pm at Santa Barbara tesla. The facility was well light and the drop spot was very clear were service department was. As well as the key drop was full of envelopes and had clear visible instructions.

Wow! The staff of the Santa Barbara Tesla are amazing! Michael, Antonio, and the rest of the sales staff members were patient with our thousand questions and very knowledgeable. We had researched the various EVs and kept coming back to the Tesla. After ordering the car online, Sophea at the Van Nuys office kept us informed where the car was in the production process. It was scheduled for late December but we were able to pick it up the day before Thanksgiving! Dex gave us a speedy and thorough orientation for all the controls and features of the car before we drove it back to where all our Thanksgiving company was waiting in anticipation. Any other car dealership would have ended the relationship once we paid for the car, but NOT Tesla Motors. Sarah Allen then took us on from the service angle. She is one of the most positive, caring, super knowledgeable, and customer service oriented person weve ever encountered. The little glitches that came up with the sensors and software she handled either by coaching us on the phone or having us come in to have things checked out. Yes, she even had another Tesla lined up as a loaner for us to drive while the technicians pinpointed the problem and solved it the same afternoon. And all this was with the attitude that she really cared that driving the Tesla should be all that it was designed to be. Thank you thank you!
