Good store with friendly staff. It isnt the cleanest or nicest looking but its not bad

Store was well stocked with what I needed.Unfortunately two cashiers were rude and unfriendly. I was very disappointed in their customer service skills a zero. Made no effect to help bag or put items in basket.Please trían your employee to be friendly and helpful. ( Traders Joe’s, Gelson’s and Costco ) Have great friends employees.No mater what time you shop at their store.Had no spray or paper towels to clean shopping carts. I had to use newspaper to wrap around the handle to push the cart.

We went here yesterday to shop for our daily and home necessities. They got it all here! They had the best, helpful, and friendliest staff than any grocery store has. The kids love the chocolate section because they had both local and international brands. We have been a loyal customer ever since we moved here. Thanks, guys!

Stoped for some bbq supplies and saw this. I saw at least two overflowing baskets of food going to the Foodbank of Santa Barbara. Warms my heart to see folks being good neighbors and looking out for the community. Good work and thank you!!

Smart and Final Guiterrez St. Cashier was unfriendly and unhelpful. Definitely NOT customer oriented. I love Smart & Finsl, but this particular cashier was an unhappy unhelpful disappointment. I mentioned I needed help since I am recuperating from back surgery. No effort was made to be helpful or show any compassion. In fact I had to bag most of my groceries and am now on my back after lifting them into and out of my cart. I will definitely avoid her register should I go to that location again. Love your store though.

A great little grocery and restaurant supply. This store has transformed over the years to more grocery and produce. Still have a great selection of commercial, paper and party supplies. I understand that site intends to grow at that location. Will be an excellent location for a full service Smart & Final. Very nice bilingual staff.

Worst shopping experience ever, very unfriendly staff, sale prices not in system, they charge the full price and when I asked them to return the item because the price isn’t right (not my fault), they told me to wait in line again. This grocery store will never see me or my money again.

Oddball selection of what they have in stock. Little practica social distanceinh control over people on the floor like most other markets. Feels like a good spot for the next covid hotspot.

Not enforcing mask requirements on my last visit. Disappointing.

Great prices and customer service at the Gutierrez store 😄There was this nice cashier name Jessica that was really helpful and great attitude towards me. I went through her line and greeted me in the nicest way. Ive never had such experienced with another cashier before. It said Jessica C on the receipt. Not also nice but very beautiful girl. Shes one of the reasons i go there too 😁😄😍❤❤

Staff here arent too friendly but if you can find one they will help you. It looks clean and organized. Theres normally a line and always busy. Parking here is tough considering the parking lot is so small.

Great location for me. Close to where I work. Close to the beach. I can be in and out in 10 minutes flat. Then back to it! Prices are cheap.

Ive been a customer since they opened their doors and they have always had the First Street brands I prefer. National brands also. Im very grateful for their help when I lost my wallet. Helpful, convenient, and close.

This Smart & Final is located a couple of blocks away from the main night scene of Santa Barbara. Although the store looks big, it seems as if there isnt enough space since there are products everywhere and you are immediately met with store aisles only a few feet after you walk in. The store is clean and has ample parking available.

Its variety of groceries and other items are wide. Customer service is good. Its close to my home.

The best overall supermarket in the area (again) -- Great food products selection, delicatessen products and others. Really good if you are picnicking, on your way to the beach, etc., and for home foods, this supermarket is among the best in town, busy with people, great service all around, friendly check stands,

This place is for buying bulk and only some of the things are really buying in bulk. 5lb bag of tortilla chips - here. Lots of hummus - not here. Just depends. Dont go here to get regular shopping things even though they do have a good amount in single sizes.

This is a good place to shop cheap non-organic grocery. They do have some organic stuff, but very few. I only saw the canned organic black beans. Its a good place for you if you arent looking for fresh organic produce or bulk dry goods.

I enjoy shopping here; helpful, cheerful employees, some departments are well stocked with many choices. One disappointment is that they dont carry fresh sourdough boules that I must have. Otherwise, its a great place to get the shopping done.

Decent selection, not a lot of overly healthy options (ie. Organics) but super convenient and good bulk supplies for events.

FRICKIN COLD! Im not sure why its always so cold in there. Its nice on a hot day and even then its cold. I cant wait to leave when its so cold! And today it was wet and rainy. It seems like they would want to keep people in the store, not wanting to get in and out quickly. Other Smart and Final stores are not like this. My wife wont go in there anymore so I get to go and freeeeeeze!🧣🧤🧥❄☃️

Ive shopped at this store since 2004 and give it generally good marks. As a grocer in this town for several years at a friendly rival store mine is not a casual critique. As a proud Army Veteran it was something of a surprise to have my first unpleasant experience there today, Memorial Day 2018 of all days.Why is it that experienced retail venders/staff, when given the opportunity to easily assist a customer in a positive manner, choose instead to consciously disparage, diminish or otherwise offend said customers? Was it my my weathered red neck, my bedraggled apparel & bed-hair? Or did she see me ask to use the restroom two days running and assume me to be living at the beach? All that or some combination therein matters not, because all humans deserve their dignity, especially when it costs me none of my own. If I can remember that (and act on that) then I know some Veterans who would be happy knowing their sacrifice helped make the world a better place even if only some tiny kind of way, eh...Rangers Lead the WaySgt. A somewhat limited selection compared to regular Grocery Store. Also choice of sizes is looking if one is not buying for a large household.

Almost a regular supermarket, you have to buy bulk to get the discount advertisement. Well stocked, friendly staff.
