Super fun & delicious way to eat ice cream!We loved the employees and owner at Creamistry SB. Super helpful for first time Creamistists like ourselves - gave us time to look through the options while giving helpful pointers. We loved meeting the franchise owner, who was working the front end of the shop! He was very friendly and shared a little bit about the process with us. He’s assembled a great team of staff, too. Greeting those who came in and wishing well when they left, they created a lovely environment!

This might be the best ice cream I’ve ever had. We stumbled upon this place, having never been or heard of it. The experience was cool, watching them make the ice cream in front of you with liquid nitrogen. The ice cream was very flavorful and smooth! Definitely would come back.

Fantastic service and amazing options. Everything js made from nitrogen ice cream and everything is freshly made to order. They have quite a few special creations all of which look really good. We tried the captain crunch special creation and it was delicious!

Excellent nitro frozen ice cream😋. You choose your base of dairy, cashew or coconut milk. They have a good selection of flavors, offer many types of toppings and syrups. The staff was pleasant and patient with us as we made our selections. We received our order in 5-7 minutes. Our taste buds were jumping with joy with every bite!! 👍👍👍👍👍

Came here late valentines day and got the Salted Caramel cup, and omg it was so good! The staff was super nice and got my order perfect even though they were running low on nitrogen. Five stars!

Soooo tasty! The owner took our order and was so nice. Our order was ready in a few minutes and was delicious! It was fun watching them make the sundaes so ended up being the perfect spot to bring visiting family. Will definitely go back!

Awesome super frozen ice cream!

Its a cute idea but the toppings are better than the ice cream and the presentation doesnt come close to the pictures you see on their website.

Wanted it to be great, but it just wasn’t. The experience and presentation are cool, but our ice cream had so much cookie dough and pb cup in it that there was hardly any ice cream. It was overwhelming.. not sure if they messed up or that’s just how it is. Spit out most to try and get more ice cream but there was so much in it you couldn’t avoid it. This is pic is towards the end, forgot to take one early on.

This may be the best ice cream we have ever had. Mase from scratch right in front of you. The young girl was very helpful and friendly.

Great location, great service. I love Creamistry concept of custom made icecreams. These guys use the creamistry base and mix it as per your order on the spot. The freezing is done by dispersing liquid nitrogen and mixing the order with mixers. The result is a super silky and creamy icecream. They add a variety of toppings including nuts, fruits, oreos etc. creamistry is a must try, this one is a great example.

My favorite ice cream spot hands down. The thickness & texture of the ice cream is amazing, and the flavor is too. Employees are always super nice & make the experience even better. 10/10.

The person serving us was so nice and was super polite when we couldn’t decide what to order. They also did a great job social distancing and using gloves/masks/hand sanitizer, etc.

Amazing vanilla ice cream

Very nice place. I like the idea of making the ice cream with the liquid nitrogen on the spot. The ice cream is good, maybe a little bit too sweet to my taste. Maybe I will choose more sour tastes next time.

Im not a huge fan of ice cream too begin with, but my husband is so we had to try it. I know its the nature of the process, but there was just no creaminess to it. It was kind of a chore to eat. To each their own!

Pretty good stuff. The ice cream I tried had kind of a slimy/gooey consistency unlike normal ice cream. It would stretch like chewing gum or melted cheese, but not as extreme. I couldn’t help but wonder what was in it. It tasted great, but the consistency grossed me out a bit. The atmosphere was a bit like a one of those frozen yogurt places - kinda dirty, uninteresting and all about the money. I’m not sure I go again, but the product did taste very good.

My husband wanted me to give it 3 stars because of the wait. But hes impatient and he loved the outcome.It is a bit of a wait. About 15 minutes on a busy Sunday. But you cant rush perfection! And these girls are working hard!We shared the elemint. It was rich and creamy. Made from scratch. Yum!

Usef the assistant manager was incredible. He was in the seating area and struck conversation patiently. Explaining the process and listening to what we had to say about out favorite ice cream establishments before revealing he was an assistant manager. It was great to watch the process and the ice cream is AMAZING. Try it out when youre in Santa Barbara!

Brought our office here today and it was such a great treat for the team. The employees were great and management was beyond hospitable. I would highly recommend. (Team favorites were the Cookie Butter, Lemon Cookie, and Fruity Pebbles but all of them were great!)

I love Creamistry ice cream. I would personally recommend the sea salt caramel with waffle bowl but all the flavors are amazing!! The cream is soo creamy and even if you are lactose intolerant, you can get the coconut or cashew base ice cream or sorbet. Also it is nice to be able to choose between the sizes (regular, large, and pint). The prices are a little high but I think it is worth it.

We were looking forward to trying this place as we love nitrogen made ice cream, and the reviews are good. Sadly it didn’t live up to our expectations. We waited about half an hour for our ice cream which, although nice (it’s ice cream, of course it’s nice), was very over priced and the “brownie bowl” was literally just a piece of brownie with our relatively bland ice cream. The caramel topping which we paid extra for was the smallest drizzle I’ve ever seen. Overall, average experience and wouldn’t rush back.

Ignoring the nitrogen gimmick ice cream places are employing lately, the flavor profiles are pretty good here. Big portions, definitely shareable. I recommend the fruity pebble ice cream sandwich. Friendly service, too.

As my boyfriend said, I feel bad throwing it away but I would feel worse eating it. The wait felt long when we got there before a crowd. The fog is cool but you can’t really see what they are doing. The ice cream had a funky flavor and ended up tasting watery in my mouth. We had been taking about going there for weeks and were really disappointed.

Cheesecake ice cream without taste. It could have been vanilla but even a non tastyvanilla. They give a minimal chocolate drizzle on top. This certainly wasnt worth the price or wait. A true disappointment.

Wonderful place with a lot of mist of liquid nitrogen when you enter the shop. After witnessing the making of ice cream at -321 degrees, I get to taste the creamiest and freshest ice cream.

Ice cream is decent. Toppings are good. Where im from we have cold stone...I LOVE cold stone...this does not compare. The wait was horrific (24 minutes to be exact) even though we ordered within seconds of walking in. I got my order before half of three groups before me...that was weird. Glad I tried. Wont go again.

We ordered as a group and I ordered first and yet I got it last. I waited close to 45 min for a cup of ice cream even though there is 9 people working. But for the amazing taste taste Ill give it a 4 and forgive the wait time.

I went last Saturday evening, it was super busy but I really wanted to try it so I dealt with the long line. When it was my turn I explained how it was my first time visiting the store and the girl on register explained how to order and gave me some suggestions. Although there was a line, she didn’t make me feel rushed. I decided to go with the organic base milk coffee flavor with Reese’s mixed in. It did take a while for my order to come out but I could see they were working as fast as they could, the employees kept a positive attitude and made sure to keep their area clean. I‘m really happy with my visit, the ice cream was super good and creamy and true to its flavor,honestly the best ice cream i’ve ever had, if you’re in Santa Bárbara you should go!

Very slow, confusing to order, overpriced for what you get, messed up on 3 of 4 orders. Ice cream was really good though...

The ice cream was really good, had a ExciteMINT cup but even when ordering to-go because I had a bus to catch, ended up waiting exactly 20 mins for my order and missed my bus and ended up eating there while I waited for the next bus.

I know its the point of this place to mix and match or rather have alot of toppings but dont. The icecream plain by itself it some of the best Ive ever had. Its about as much as you would spend at a froyo place.
