The central call center gave me a confirmed appointment time but then the local shop said it wasnt confirmed. Seems like the problem was with the call center, who gave me incorrect information. The guys at the local shop were nice and did a good job.

I went in for a tire patch. I asked the guy at the front desk (Daniel) what time they would complete the fix. I told him my wife and I plan to eat lunch while waiting or head home if it will take time. He replied I will call you when its done. And he said it twice. Well, how on earth you cant approximate the completion time? Or my service is low priority because the company makes a mere $40? My guess hes just slacking around and too lazy to talk to his tech. In my 20+ experience nobody talked to me like this. Every service advisor I had spoken before would have an idea how long a service would take. My disappointment didnt end here. They damaged my wheel paint. Im done with Firestone. I will never go to this shop again. These guys are as good shade tree mechanic or maybe worse.

Because the car hasnt been used as often as it normally would have, the battery had issues. Firestone immediately helped me diagnose the car, and replace the battery.Two tiny negatives (not affecting the rating):-: Although masks are worn, they arent always a good fit.-: As almost always when you bring a car in for service, additional things were found wrong with the car.+: Very friendly.+: Fully COVID-19 compliant.+: Fast service.+: They know their cars (knew the car I brought in better than me).+: Battery was in stock.+: They have a good waiting area.

I found a small nail in my tire today. I called Firestone to see if they could take me, which they did. Fast, friendly service. They checked my tire out right away, inspected it and found the nail didn’t puncture my tire. So I was in and out ASAP - and wasn’t charged because nothing had to be done!

Bought tires through TireRack and got them delivered to and installed in Firestone Santa Clara. No complaints, easy process, friendly staff. They are quite busy, so be patient.Where they really shined is when I hit something on the road and my tire burst. Mike helped me and was amazing. When I stopped by without an appointment, Mike took a look at the tire and confirmed it’s not repairable. I contacted TireRack to file a roadside hazard claim and they needed confirmations from Firestone. Mike talked to them on the phone and confirmed tire info, described the damage etc, all from a goodwill. Really shows that he cares about the customers and I much appreciate the willingness to help! Will definitely be coming back to this Firestone location!

I have been a Firestone customer for 5 years now. After the last two visits to this branch and the one in Milpitas, I am taking my business elsewhere.Reasons:Whats the point of:1) making online reservation and receiving confirmation when it takes their stores 3.5 hours for an oil and filter change?2) buying a lifetime service from them for your vehicle when every time you go in they either come up with an excuse not to do it or forget on purpose to do it?3) asking for a regular oil change when the operator ignores your request (even though you mention it again!) and does synthetic oil change?4) asking for a service when they dont even have the related items for that service and have to run to another store to get them and make you wait 3.5 hours for it?Personally I think service people in the Bay area are so busy with the huge number of customers that they have forgotten the basics of doing business.

I walked in at 4pm on Veterans Day and was helped by Shay-quan ! GREAT guy! He stayed late to give me a new tire and pop it on my car ! He gave me an amazing price and fixed my tire all with a smile on his face ! He went above and beyond for me & I really appreciated it ! Amazing customer service! Great staff ! 100% recommend. I won’t be going anywhere else but here for my tires.

Needed two tiers on a Sunday. Mike in Santa Clara saved the day by getting the tiers and having them installed within an hour. He saved the day. He got the price and delivery time right the first time, and let us watch his big screen of the game, while they were installed.

Pepboys said I can do it without appointment and get my car by 4 pm today.So this Firestone location is off my list going forward for auto services.

They have a sign in the store from the founder that says honesty is the fundamental thing for running business but my experience today really made me feel otherwise. I had an appointment set for 1 pm today. I called them at 11 to confirm the timing and the person at the store said my appointment is at 3(this is after he confirmed my last name, phone number and the car make model). I told him I thought the appointment was at 1 pm but he said No, the only appointment he sees is at 3 pm(I actually had my calendar blocked from 12:45-3 but when he was this clear, I thought ok I might have got the timing wrong when I set it up a couple of weeks back). I asked him how long the wait time will be and he said as I have the appointment, if you are here by 3 pm, then I can get you out by 4 pm. I went there at 3 pm in person(left work early for this) and he said my appointment was at 1 pm. I explained him the whole situation and showed him the call I made. He said there is no way he would have given that info; the message might have been that they could get the car out by 3 pm. He said there are already people ahead of me that did walk in and and he has only two tech available. So the earliest he can get my car out would be 6 pm. I told him I need to leave at least by 5 but he said he cant help it. I have no idea how this bizarre ty thing could happen. Did he push my appointment to 3 pm from 1 pm because he was short staffed? Did he push my walk out time to 6 pm because he already accepted walk ins? Or was it a genuine mistake where the person I talked with screwed it up and this person has no way to rectify that mistake? I have no idea but what I do know is they clearly have some issues with the process or following the process. Either way, I am not going to be a customer with them ever!

I booked an appointment through online system and called customer care to confirm the appointment which it got confirmed and the same has been sent through mail. I have cancelled my important classes to make available for this appointment. Unfortunately once after reaching the service center I went to reception and showed the the confirmation mail which i got from firestone. He responded stating that online appointments are broken process and they dont have any confirmation. As they are completely booked for whole day the earliest appointment i can get is after 3 days . Terrible management! I scheduled an appointment for an oil change at 1pm. I arrived 5 minutes early and waited in line to be checked in for 10 minutes. The customers being helped in front of me were walk-ins without an appointment, but their vehicles were placed in line in front of mine to be serviced. I checked in and was given a 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minute wait estimate. The time on my service order said the car would be ready at 2:30pm. 2:30 came and went and finally at 3:00pm I asked the woman behind the counter if she could tell me how much longer my car would take. She asked the man working on it and he said 15 minutes more. It actually ended up being 35 minutes more! My total wait time was 2 hours 35 minutes for a simple oil change! What good was having an appointment if I was being treated the same as a walk-in?! This could have been avoided if the store was managed better. Turn walk-ins away if you are getting overbooked, its that simple.

Excellent, Courteous reception and explanation of issues. Brought forth issues that really mattered and rates were all reasonable. I did decline to do the Air Filter as I could do that myself for 1/4 the cost - but I am not taking stars for that as its definitely a convenience cost that may be worth it for some Will recommend this to others. Service done: Oil change, differential fluid and routine wheel rotation service.

I came here to get my tires replaced because the ones I currently have got recalled. I dropped my car off at 8am and my car was ready with new tires by 10am. They happily replaced my tires and the new tires I got were an upgrade to the tires I had beforehand! 5/5 stars for the fantastic customer service at this location!

Fantastic !! Mike and his crew are spot on. My car doesnt come with a spare and I got a flat. Arrived at 8:30 on a Sunday and he got me in right away when they opened at 9:00. Having been in the auto business myself, I overheard Mike give customers solid advice and never did the upsell routine. Definitely will be back !

They lie to your face. Ive been with Firestone for almost 12 years and they just recently told me that lifetime alignment is only 2 alignments a year! I even called corporate and they said that its however many you want! So they cant even balance a wheel properly. They put 12 weights side by side each other and said my car was good. Had the feeling they printed the paper saying my car was good but then messed with my car more out of alignment and spec after they completed it. I even had oil dripping the next day on my driveway and it hasnt been dripping all year! Its not an issue of under staffed or over anything. Theyre just bad people!

Not going back to this place ever! They dont fix problems of your car, but they create problems. I went there for a routine inspection. They told me my belt is chipping, the rear brake system needs to be replaced with other minor issues liking oil change and air filter cleaning. Other things are fine. Especially, the representative Robert told me the tires are doing heat. Ok, sounds acceptable. However, after the repair, my car immediate made funny noises and created bumpy feeling. Went there again and guess what? They told me to replace the entire tire sets, replace front brake systems as well as do alignments. And they ask for 1,900 dollars for that! I dont understand how one procedure of repair creates problems were not there before! I totally think they damaged my car during the repair for charging me more money later. I just dont believe them anymore. So go other places for the sake of your car.

Went for wheel balancing for my camry and had a great experience. Very friendly and courteous staff. Luckily it was not busy when I visited so got my work done in 45 mins. But I have been told that appointments are preferred. I paid $179 for life time in which I get wheel balancing once every 6 months till the time I own the car.

This was a terrible experience...I called in for a oil change for my diesel vehicle and the manager on the phone told me that they could get it done and to bring it in whenever, tomorrow or the next day. So my dad went in two days later and they did not have the oil ready and asked my dad who told him to to come in ( the manager spoke with me). Then, they scheduled an appointment for that Sunday morning. We arrived and the gentleman at the front checked us in and went to the back to check whether the oil was available...surprise! It wasnt delivered...actually he admitted that the manager never ordered it in the first place. He attempted to call his manager but no one picked up. He told us that he would order the oil and let us know when it comes in and possibly get a discount, but its been over a week and no call. I could tell that he felt terrible about the experience so I dont blame him, but the manager did a poor job (lied to us)...definitely not coming back.

Dont waste money for the Warranty. I got a Flat tire like a inch inside the tire, but they told me that, they cant repair it because of its at the corner. I am running a bus transportation company and I am very familiar with tires, Safety staff but this store tried to sale a tire to me. The guy in the front desk was so rude to me and my co worker.!!!! I was a Firestone customer with family of 5 cars but no more. Horrible customer service.

Here is the whole story:I used the online appointment reservation system to request a service at 9/6 5pm (Pic 1). Firestone sent me a confirmation email of service at 9/11 11am without any phone calls to discuss if I can make it !!! (Pic 2&3)Ok, that is not a big deal. I called them instead, and change the appt to 9/11 4:30pm with the confirmation email (Pic 4)At time I came across their local service and and was told my appt was 11am, the 4:30pm one was not successfully booked….. I showed him the email confirmation, and the most drama story happened: The receptionist told me, hey, you know what, I think your service is 4:30pm, but you are supposed to drop your car at 11am. WTF…. Does it make any sense to drop a car 5 hours in advance to make an oil change? If I can do that, why should I book an appt at 4:30? It is definably a bad excuse to pass the buck!! The receptionist said, I can reschedule the appt for you, come or not, what ever you want… I choose to leave.Now I guess the Firestone team should know why their service deserve a one-star. Actually, they don’t even give a choice to experience their service….

Josh is doing an incredible job bringing this store back from the previous managers lack of commitment. Service on the vehicle is excellent and I feel welcomed by the staff every time I get my alignment done.This Google and Yelp rating is insane. People, you make an appointment and still wait for a doctor to service you, so why would a car be any different? Some people show up and just expect it to be magically done and at little to no cost... Thats not how the world works.Tip your mechanics and service people!!!! This is not some stupid barista at Starbucks, these guys are skilled workers/automotive specialists, show some respect!

Great Customer Service!! I have a very complicated issue, that only pops up at highway speeds and curves or lane changes to the left. They were unable to reproduce or find any issue. They decided not to charge me. Unlike Midas down the street, which assumed the rotors were the issue, and chose not to check anything else out.

I took my car in on a Friday for an alignment and they told me i had a nail in my tire($20) needed new brakes desperately($400) and new tires immediately(over 700) and new battery($200)... took it to sams club to do all these things and turns out no nail in any of the tires no need for new tires they are still all 4 still almost brand new and brakes are still good... all they wanted was to make me spend money that i didnt have or need to. worst experience at this firestone

Stopped by twice to get some air 2 hrs apart. Both times basicly turned away by employees in the back shop. They were going out of the way to avoid me. The tall husky bearded man doing the alingments seemed to be especially unfriendly and short. Very rude and inconsiderate staff. I would not recommend using this location for service. Find a shop where they are happy to help. Its a very uneasy feeling to leave your car with such nasty people and wonder if they did a good job or the job at all.

Valve stem broke on a Sunday morning. This was the only place open. They had me in and out in less than 20 mins. Excellent customer service. My only gripe is the place was very busy when they opened with the mechanics standing around doing nothing, should have had more guys checking customers in - maybe train the mechanics to do check-ins.

Absolutely horrible, loyal firestone customer for 12 years. Im done; Ive taken my car to this location and every time these guys make you feel like youre dropping your pet off to be put to sleep. My issues were routine but somehow they managed to take 8 hours to TRY and fix the issue every single time only to misdiagnose and suggest to buy new parts. The redhead is cute and nice AND the only positive to this location. Never knew it was that hard to write a PG review.... my chest is on fire with how upset I am with them. Do not go here.

Understaffed, overpromised, underdelivered. I called 2 days ago to make an appointment to realign my tires. The man was courteous, and told me that we could do appointments Saturday or Sunday. I asked for Sunday at 1 PM, and he put me down. I showed up today and was told I didnt have an appointment, that there are never appointments on Sundays. There is only one person at the front desk and they are very busy. Poorly run place.

Firestone in Santa Clara wanted us to replace brake pads and rotors on my vehicle as soon as we can. They didnt provide us a copy of the inspection but gave us a quote of couple of hundred dollars to replace pads and rotors. We got our vehicle checked with Pep boys and Jiffy lube after a week and they both confirmed both pads and rotors are absolutely fine. NOT GOING BACK here again.

After calling the day before to set up an appointment, the lady failed to get any of my information to set up an appointment or for future reference. She told me to bring my car in between 7-8 am the next day and they should have it done by noon. I brought it in at 7:20 am as scheduled (but without an appointment because the lady from the day before failed to set one up) and went through what would be done for the inspection. I called at 11 am and the man on the phone informed me that the car was being taken on a test drive. I called again at 12:30 and the lady (Ghia) put me on hold five times before getting any answers. When she finally was ready to talk to me, she had told me that they had not put it on the lift all day, practically wasting five hours of my time. Id rather drive out to Sunnyvale to the other shop than bring it back here. Poor, poor service.

The staff seemed un-professional on specific car make and replaced the wrong part for my car. It fixed my brake (which was originally the problem), but brought down my cruise control system.It is evident that a general purpose store like firestone can sometimes fail to perform well on specific car models (my car was 2003 Ford Taurus with cruise control but no ABS)As an unhappy customer Im trying to be objective: the one-stop for all car models works well for some scenarios for sure, but for in-depth care of your favorate vehicle when you need it the most, you still need to take time to find your specific makes repairer, rather than count on this kind of store for quick and one-stop service.The unclear communication of the completion time for this shop for my cars service (failed the deadline for once) caused me trouble in my scheduling, but comparing to the first point, this is secondary issue.
