DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE! We went to get info on upgrading plans and purchase new phones. There were 5 of us waiting outside to get in. An employee came out and said that there was no way that any of us could be serviced. The store had over one hour left before closing. She even told one customer to go to Best Buy. She told me to call customer service which i had already done.

I came in with my mom a few days ago to this verizon and the manager Alyssa greeted us at the door letting us know it would be kind of a long wait because there were two people ahead of us. She helped us herself to speed up our visit and she was super helpful and nice. She took the time to explain to my mom how to use certain features of the phone like the gps!She was so kind even though it was really busy. Will definitely come back here!

Worst customer service ever, I walked in this morning to get my brand new iPhone exchange since the one I got sent by Verizon was a manufacturer defective phone. I was told over the phone that there will be no charges since the phone is defective, so I explained everything to the guy who insists that I have to pay $50 to get the phone exchange. He didn’t even offer to contact the main office to see or try to figure out what’s going on. I end up going to the one by Steven creek and I was in and out within couple of minutes with the new phone at no charges

Update: After reading their response, I sent over my phone number. Still have not heard anything back from Verizon after a week. Cant help but think they left the response for their image. Truly fake and unprofessional. I better hear back soon with some actual compensation.Absolutely DO NOT buy phones here.They do not have any knowledge about the detailed contract, do not notify you of the correct information, and do not take responsibility for their mess ups. Just obsessed with selling phones.The manager is extremely irresponsible and the employees do not have any knowledge of what they are selling.I bought an iphone, and asked them THREE times if it was carrier free, specifically notifying them that I would have to use this phone overseas within a month. PJ, the employee did not notify that there is a 60 day sim lock period at all. He said it was carrier free and it is the absolute same as the carrier free phones sold by Apple unlike other carriers, which was not true. Now I cannot use my phone for a month.After I figured I cannot use my phone I hardly got in contact with the store. The manager did not show any sign to help out. She did not even apologize. All she said was “we train our employees to notify the details” and “there is nothing I can do about it” and “call customer service”. I had to ask THREE times just to get a specific guide of how I can request an appeal to unlock my phone. She did not have the motivation to help despite scamming me. I called the store as a last resort as Verizon customer service was extremely hard to navigate and the chatbot said it could not help, but I once again had to ask three times just to be assisted.A simple apology and a sincere gesture of help would have gone a long way. Because they could not compensate nor guide me through, I wanted to refund this phone. But they said they cannot do anything if it goes beyond thirty days even if they basically scammed me.No apologies, no sense of responsibility. They are desperate to sell thousand dollar phones without knowledge of what they are selling.

The employees at this store are very rude. This is the second time I have been here to try to get help with my emergency on call phone for my property. This is unacceptable as our company does a lot of business with you. The employees at this store need to have some serious customer service training. I will no longer be using Verizon and will switch carriers because of the poor treatment to me and other customers standing in line.Update 03/23/2021I went to the Verizon authorized retailer on el camino in Sunnyvale and was helped right away and took 15 minutes to solve my issue and have me on my way. Definitely a problem with the employees at this store mainly the employee Giovanni I hope you take action against this employee as I am sure Im not the only one who has had a bad experience with him. I will never visit this store again and you should really provide better training for this staff.

Irresponsible store. We schedule an appt for Jan 7. They sent a cancellation email telling me to reschedule. No problem., Rescheduled for January 6 at 11a. Confirmed and we head there this morning. Store was closed! So we wait thinking they are just running a little late. Thirty (30)minutes later. Still not open. So unprofessional not to honor appointments, not to open and not notifying the customer they re not going to bother even opening.We left the house during a pandemic for nothing. We have to assume they had a covid outbreak and just dont want to publicize this...I get it. just say so, nobody is going to boycott you for this. We are in a pandemic! Just have the courtesy to inform your customers and not waste their time and risk their health!

I got Verizona customer, tried to get the $20 for referring someone, and asked for the $10 off a month for having my unlimited streaming for over 3 months. I was given a phone number to call, and still havent received my $20, or my $10 a month reduced on my bill. I do automated billing with a Visa, and this was why I dont get it right now. Still trying, my bill was auto laid.

Ive waited here for hours. Multiple times. PJ is very friendly and the main manager guy has great communication skills and seems to be great at his job, while the lady there who I assume is another manager always seems to be upset and just generally unhappy with life. Very interesting location. If they decreased the wait time Id think about 4-5 star but with great power comes great responsibility

So Rude, rude, rude that Im taking the time to write a review. The woman who came from the back room asked us what we were in for and when we told her we did not want to upgrade (after she asked 3 times)...just wanted to buy the cheapest phone to replace my husbands shattered glass phone for about a week until we could get our new phones, she pushed us off and told us we had to wait about 10 minutes for the next available person to help us. She then proceeds to the lady behind us and all of a sudden she is helping her. Wow- she NEVER even took the time to understand our situation which was: We are planning on upgrading 3 phones, open a new line, upgrade our ipad and add a router to our business lines, but this was going to happen next week and since my husbands phones glass was smashed, we just needed a replacement until then because he uses his phone for business. Unfortunately, she judged us before she took the time to find out what the customers needs were. Save yourself a trip--go to another store!

The people I dealt with their today has proven that customer service is dead gone are the days of helpful people going above and beyond in situations that need assistance let alone the people that you talk to you before deny anything they said the last time they spoke with you when you clearly remember them and faceless corporate BS has taken over the asylum sad I remember when a company would be helpful now they go out of their way to just piss you off and making buying a cell phone worse than an IRS audit and a messy divorce with children Im sure they probably put notes on my account because of today oh well maybe our paths will cross when they need something from me and I will make sure they get the same wonderful just service in their time of need

I don’t know how to express my frustration..After a long phone conversation with Verizon call center, they sent me to store to check why my phone shows no service! And at store they told me my phone isn’t compatible with network, although I was their own customer with the exact phone that I bought from apple store! They couldn’t give me any reasonable answer and they left me with no solution.

I used to at&t, T-mobile before Verizon. They are more good price than Verizon but not good signal at our home. After I took Verizon plan, its signal better at our home. And I really dont like rivermark Verizon (they are really rude- to all costumer), but here was good. Staff are helpful. Specially Yousuf is really kind and helpful. Verizon should give reward for good employees.

I was in a rush, so I called ahead, talked to Christian, explained what I needed (a super-cheap replacement phone for my child) and made sure it was in stock.Their door greeters can be a little off-putting,put since I had called ahead and had a name, he told me to wait, talked to Christian and then Christian had me set-up with a new phone in about 10-15 minutes. AWESOME! Just what I needed!I definitely recommend calling ahead, perhaps making an appointment and being clear on any time-constraints you might have so you can tell up-front if it will be an issue or not. The 1st time I came- needing to purchase and set-up accounts for the whole family, it took FOREVER.

JEFF, the worst manger I have ever metDont go to the store as long as he works as a manger there.I went to the store to ask a couple of questions about my account. The manager Jeff was checking people in, so I told my questions to him. Once I showed my iPhone, he just told me to go to Apple Store. My questions were about the Verizon account, not iPhone itself. Apple Store can not answer to my questions. I have already asked Apple Store just for in case before going to the store. Of course, they told me to go to Verizon store regarding to the account questions.I tried to keep explaining my questions and told him that I went to Apple Store already though, he just ignored my words and walked away.Due to my work, I often meet a store manager or those people. Jeff is THE WORST MANAGER I have ever met. I dont understand why such a useless guy can work as a manger there.He does not have an ability to communicate with a customer, and he can not handle any issue. All he can do is just standing and smiling. Maybe thats his only work given to him as a manager in the store.I went to the different store and talked to the other manager. He was very helpful to answer my questions.As long as Jeff is working in the store as a manager, there is no way you can solve your issue, so dont go there unless you want to waste your time.

I took it to this Verizon store the employees all said they have never seen this screen protector before They will put your screen protector on crooked and they will kick you out of their store if you dont like the it. Its the worst management teamAnd staff.I called Verizon and they did give me a refund for the screen protector. I would never go back

Most of the staff here were very nice. But one dude in his 20s was a total jerk. I asked to use the restroom and was rude and muttering stuff under his breath, assuming I was someone who just wandered in off the street. Once he realized I was there to do business, he reversed course and put on his affected customer service attitude.

I am a late wireless bloomer and have had the most blissful experience with Kathy De Gouveia who was able to answer many of my questions and help me find the best deal. Kathy is the quintessential sales representative. She is knowledgeable, friendly, understanding, and extremely consistent with these sentient traits.As a miser who always looks for the better deals, she was able to help me find what was in my budget and accommodate me exceptionally well.I am now on a family plan, am loving my smart phone ( Samsung galaxy 3s) and am so happy that I have such an understanding Verizon representative that can assist me and my family.I highly recommend this location and Kathy.

Poor, poor, poor and condescending service. They laugh at the line, make fun of foreign-born customers (I watched it happen) and then refuse to help anyone. Its at least an hour wait at this store, with nobody asking to help you. The customer has to identify a staff member in the crowd and when they do, they are THEN told to go put in a number to be called. The person creating the wait list does not approach customers as they come in the door. He moves around the store, laughing at people, and when you find him---thats when your hour-long wait begins. Also, the number listed for this location gets directly routed to corporate--they will not answer their own business line.

First they sold me a phone that completely sucks. Calls getting dropped, people not being able to hear me clearly, etc. Whether the problem is with the phone, or with their network, it is still verizons responsibility to take care of it. They seemed to think that its normal for customers to call tech support within a week of purchasing a new phone, and help to debug their network. Finally the manager at the store said that if I paid the restocking fee of $35, I can get an exchange, which I had been asking for since the beginning. Even though its not fair that I need to pay more, I took the offer, since I make more than $35 in the amount of time I spent trying to get this fixed. Wish the associate had given me this option in the very beginning. In the end, its a waste of so much time, and all the thrill in getting a new iPhone is gone.

Knew what I wanted when I came in...a Droid Razr M. He told me it was $99....I said that I saw that it was free online with 2-year contract. He said oh sure, if you dont get all the things that come with it. I guess he was trying to bundle it with who knows what.He then tried to sell me a tiny blue tooth speaker, a subscription to Comcast, along with all the accessories.I realize hes doing his job as a salesman, but was pretty irked at all the up-selling going on.

Made an in-store purchase and requested that it be sent to a different (other than home) address. Verizon still shipped it to my home address and when I tried to correct thing mid-delivery, I was told Verizon couldnt change the delivery location at that time. It had to be done via FedEx - which is dead wrong. Very unimpressed with Verizon staff.

I was very pleased with the service and attention I was given. I was getting a new phone for my mother who is older and not very adept with any mobile device. Lauren worked hard to make us happy. We finally got to the end of an hour + deciding on a phone and a tablet for me when we realized we were not eligible yet for any phone for an early upgrade.....only specific models.....I was frustrated that verizon had given me an unclear message when I had checked the day before....we were going to leave when Lauren took the initiative to speak to the manager and they made it work.....not a the full discount we expected from Verizon, but they did make us happy and did what they could!I have always found this location to be very good every time I have been here. Go to this verizon store location if in doubt.....!

Poor customer service all around. Been there 3 times for various problems and NEVER got them fixed. I had to settle to calling the customer service. While trying to replace the told phone with a new Pixel 2 XL, the online tool would not recognize the SIM ( ICCID ). Verizon disconnected my old device so I could no longer received calls/SMSes. I was instructed to order a new SIM by online tool ( even though the SIM was shipped pre-installed by Verizon. Since the lines were with my wifes name, they insisted on calling her to get verification code or that she came into the store ( Who do that no a days anyway except very rare cases? ). Impossible. They would not let me verify any other way such as logging in with their computer to our own account/ knowing ACCOUNT passcode and password. They insisted I get security code.I ended up calling them and get a new SIM ( WITHOUT passcode from Phone, mind you, since I know ALL other info about the account since its ours ). I just dont understand what I could do via phone, having Verizon shipped it, paid for the shipping by Verizon and wasted my few days while they wont do it in person. Some corporate BS to me !!Yes, and I talked to the manager guy but he was too bone-head to listen to your reasoning ... Sad !!

Shingo is the manager of the Santa Clara store. He bent over backwards to fix my problem. My HTC Rezound buttons were not working. They checked it out and said they would replace the phone, no charge under warranty. I got the phone, but it would not recognize the sim card. Back to the store. They checked it out, still didnt work. Shingo gave me the option of getting another Rezound, or getting a reburbished HTC Incredible 4G. I picked the Incredible. It arrived only two days later and works perfectly. To do this replacement twice is not the company policy. Shingo gave me amazing service to make it right. I am totally satisfied.

Ordered a Samsung Charge Droid phone back in August. It was supposed to arrive with a 32GB SDHC Flash Memory card but instead only had a 16GB one. When I called Customer Service they said I needed to go into the store to get this fixed as they are not in stock.So I call the store today and end up speaking with the manager Anthony. Went in to get a new sim card for my phone and was signed up for Hum by Verizon Wireless WITHOUT my agreement. After repeatedly telling the sales rep we were not interested in the program, a few hours later we received a receipt for this new order and was charged $40.
