I called a few places. AMG was the only shop that could get a Cambria countertop installed in 2 weeks. Elaine was mostly responsive and very pleasant to deal with. The slab was brought in quickly. The template was done in less than 15 minutes. I was quite impressed with their efficiency.Pros:1. competitive pricing - maybe 3-5% less than other places2. speedy quotes3. mitered edge was done nicely4. installation - inspected and approved by CambriaCons:1. Sink cut-out was off by 3/8 - verified by Cambria (AMG blamed the sink template)2. countertop was sagging 2 days after - it was fixed with 2 screws in the dishwasher area3. heavy hands - its understandable as they deal with stones everyday. It would be a good idea to remove the top drawers or protect your cabinets yourself before the installation.The improper sink cut-out was a surprise to me. I thought nowadays computer is doing all the work. The inspector from Cambria said he would not want that in his kitchen. But AMG claimed that the job was above standard. If you really need to have a countertop installed quickly, you can try this place. You may have better luck than I did.I agree with the other Yelp review that the owner has serious anger issues (the review was deleted for some reason). So try not to question or comment on their work.
