Sal, Wes, and everyone else on the team were very helpful and knowledgeable. I came in as a first time gun purchaser and came out with the confidence to be a responsible and knowledgeable gun owner. They even helped me take advantage of military discount options, I did not know I even had. I will be back not just to pick up my guns, but to be a regular customer.

Zach was great, double checked and cross checked everything meticulously with filing for the background check. He didn’t rush it at all. Staff from other gun stores typically rush things as they are probably measured by it for their performance, and I had have my background check bounced once because they didn’t file it correctly.The store has some very good collection of firearms as well as inexpensive stripped lower and complete lower. Their price and fees are very reasonable. You just need to be a bit patient as they are only taking appointments via emails. If you are a super busy person and are in a hurry, you can try other store in the area but you will need to pay more (sometimes a lot more). I will stick with SC guns from now on.

First time in this store of course by appointment is a great experience for me. Jim and Zach are very courteous, and the service is done in a professional manner. Bought a gun, and worked with Zach on a FFL transfer, thank you very much.

Jim and Zach are great! They did a FFL transfer of ammo for me for a great price and they were wonderful conversation while they did the paperwork. Lots of guns at MSRP prices and no politics. If I could give them more stars I would. They are appointment only which is great these days as you dont have to stand in line or wait for your turn.

I didn’t make a purchase right away since they suggested I go to a range and experiment a bit. I did just that and went back a few weeks later. The guys in the store are friendly, knowledgeable and down to earth. The prices are great, lower than other local stores. I picked up a couple of items recently and as usual, Zach provided really good personal service. I renewed my FSC there as well.

I recently had a bad experience at another gun store and let me tell you that it really showed me how good SC GUNS is. The customer service is excellent as a result I would argue that SC GUNS is one of the best gun stores in the bay area if not the entire state of California. Zach and his father do an extremely good job as not only are they kind and patient, but extremely knowledgeable as well. I highly recommend buying your first firearm here especially if its a handgun as the prices are competitive and the staff is super friendly. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. I come here to do all kinds of transfers and let me tell you from past experience that you CANNOT beat SC GUNS.

SC Guns have received and transferred at least 10 long arms for me in the past year and all went clean and smooth. The guys are friendly and super knowledgeable about CA gun laws. If you dont see what you want in the shop, they can get anything CA legal. Also, no typical gun shop attitude. Ill be back and have recommended them to many.Mark S.

This was my first time at SC Guns. I needed to DROs a rifle and chose them as my previous dealer was no longer doing the paperwork on firearms they didnt sell. I liked this place a lot the owners were very friendly and knowledgeable. The display cases while small but had a good variety of quality firearms and they have the ability to bring in darn near anything legal that you may want. I asked about having ammo shipped in from out of state and their price for handling the transaction seemed very reasonable. I would definitely use them again. I really liked the small friendly atmosphere where you could talk and not feel rushed.

Further proof that good help is really hard to find. I went in there for the first time looking for an informed decision. The guy I talked to didnt seem to know anything. He also had the personality of an old shoe. I wont be back.

A gun I had on a watchlist suddenly became available, so Im looking for a transfer dealer. SC Guns isnt even 2 miles from my house and they are preferred dealer for the vendor I was using, so its only natural that I go there, and Im very glad I did.What a great little shop. I had no idea they were even there. They have a small inventory of good quality firearms and accessories. Iwould definitely consider buying my next handgun there instead of going online and transferring it. Id rather support my local merchant, and its about the same cost.Its a two man shop that gives you good personal service. These are good guys, and I recommend them.
