Golden state storage has been fabulous. My 5x10 unit was clean and free of bugs or critters, when I arrived. The accessibility to my unit is roomy and easy.The security is wonderful, I have never worried about my belongings being compromised. They are friendly, thorough and helpful. The bonus with them is they have great specials. I would recommend Golden State Storage to any one.

I picked up my 16 foot truck this morning. Aaron Dietz was extremely helpful. He made sure I put my cards away. He walked me through the whole truck. So nice and helpful. He made sure all my questions were answered. He knows his business for sure. The truck was CLEAN !! I drove off withconfidence.Thank you for hiring a great employee.

I love this place not only do they keep it clean. Every time I needed help cause Ive lost my key.( more then twice) they help me without making me feel like an idiot. Coco is a sweatheart saw me working my butt off and she brought me a cold water. They really care about their customers.

DO NOT RECOMMEND! We had furniture and sealed boxes stored in this facility. They power washed the facilities, water soaked into the unit and water and dirt was covering our boxes and furniture. The notice was not sufficient. When we went to speak with the owner, he came at us aggressively, was incredibly rude and angry, spoke to us inappropriately. Do not store you items here. Our boxes were destroyed and ownership was aggressive and hostile. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Very friendly and helpful people who make the storage/moving experience less of a hassle than it might otherwise be. Great customer service that goes above and beyond and reasonable rates compared to other storage places. And now after 15 months here, I just moved my belongings out and these people have been outstanding all along. Since I no longer live in CA it gave me enormous peace of mind knowing my possessions were in such capable and caring hands. I cannot recommend them highly enough and would not hesitate to use them again if I ever have need of a storage facility in CA. I REALLY appreciate all that they did for me that was above and beyond It was unexpected and blew me away, actually. I have never had this level of customer service at any storage place and I have had a number of them. Thank you SO much!

We only needed storage for one month, but the space was clean and well lit. I like the idea that you have to sign out when you are leaving as well as when you are entering. felt very safe. Management was very friendly and it was good to know that someone was around. Also lots of room to maneuver your vehicle.

I have had storage units with Golden State for years. When only needed storage for a few months they found me a space which was was clean and well lit. I love the security and cleanliness of the units. The staff and management are always very friendly. Unlike many other storage facilities there lots offer plenty of room to maneuver your vehicle and trailers.

I have been storing stuff there for I believe just about 20 years or a little over 20 years now the people are nice there was a few years in there that I didnt like the managers but ever since then theres great managers the first ones that were there wonderful second not so great the ones that are there now love it very courteous very nice people thanks for keeping my stuff safe

12 hours of access a day, with a 20 minute limit? if you go over that your loitering.I believe that is called breach of agreement actually. your rental agreement says you have access from 7 am till 7 pm, but they say 20 minutes of that. when you put your code in for access the computer even restates the access hours.As a disabled American I feel they are very discriminatory.2 messages, 12 hours of access a day followed by 20 minutes. restaraunts do this type stuff to make room for other patrons, and they usually give you 30 minutes, which is long enough to eat, but this is all unecesary at a self storage place. I think they feel it is fun.watch out for Coleen, she has a malicious side. when she chooses a target she hovers around the gate and when you open it she will get mad because she is near it.she did that to me and 3 days ago I watched her do the same to another.she is not very nice at all, watch yourself if you go there. Are in is descent but unfortunately he is married to her/it, so watch him as well, Gina however is really sweet, but not sweet enough to make up for Coleen.Also, with aforementioned scenario you should be cautious about giving Arron cigarettes as I think that that too irritates her. Any little thing you do, even things done with good intentions will receive this type of treatment.Of all the reviews of this place only this one goes into detail, if that tells you anything.edit: Thanks for that Brian, but it means nothing really.as soon as you use terms of legal prosecution towards me i am done dealing with you.maybe you should explain to your managers some are like that.today I was chased around by Arron who wanted me to know his feelings, but he didnt care about mine.basically, i was harrassed today while showing up to start cleaning it out, thats not professional is it?Arron wanted me to see the company policy and all, let me ask you, does it not include NOT SMOKING INSIDE THE STORAGE BUILDINGS?because I have seen Arron walk through at 7 am with a lit cigarette before, gods honest truth, isnt that in there sir?so you expect me to follow your guidelines that your managers ignore?yeah right.who gets the blame for it?I could look you dead in the face in front of Arron and say i saw it, could he look me in the face and deny it? doesnt matter, were done.I asked him if he could spot a lie in my review, he said no, i said then it was deserved, he then pointed out that on yelp i said Gina where i meant Coleen, so i did edit that, Gina was awesome, shame about the rest.i actually witnessed you smoking in the storage buildings twice, the second time you came asking for a light, i told you you could bring it back when you finished but you lit it there and walked out the door, did you consider the rules at that moment? the rules you want others to follow?your tenants could sue you for damages on that one Arron, breach of contract as well, after all it is a SMOKE-FREE climate right?Wonder what Brian will say about that.. nah, who cares, his problem now.but on a side note Brian, if you wish to speak with me on this to know I am speaking truth on it you can call me and I will come ask Arron about it in front of you, I would be interested in what he says, after all I have been a minister for 21 years, truth and lies intrigue me, dont know why people lie, until they put themselves in the position to HAVE to to protect themselves USUALLY from things they did THEMSELVES, typical case, age old problem.You need to learn to train your managers better Brian, after all you claimed you did train them, 4 years that I know of and he is still this off track?you should also teach your next resident managers how to talk to people, and not use legal terms when other terms are available, had the term hanging out been used i might not have cut off business with you immediately. When your dealing with a hypocrite every day longer is a curse, no good can come of it. Maybe we will do business again someday, but Arron and Coleen will be gone first, till then.. bye.

The building and property are in good condition. The best part of storing here is that there is a light and an electrical outlet inside the unit. The only down-side is the restricted hours of access. They told me the gates lock up at 7:00pm.
