As tourists drove all the way to the site to make a purchase as they supposedly closed at 9pm, got here at 8pm and the blond guy at the register was really rude and didn’t let us in. Update your info & teach your employees how to treat costumers.

This review is based on my experience with online purchasing from Berdels. I called last week to get a rough estimate on shipping/delivery times. I spoke with a super chill, kind guy who informed me that my order would be shipped out right after placing. I assumed it would probably take a day or two before it would even go out. So, I was very pleasantly surprised to find out that not only did my order ship out roughly ONE hour after placing my order, but it arrived maybe 2 days after placing my order. I haven’t stopped raving about my experience, and can’t wait to place my next orders! This place is a gem. Buy all your gifts and gear here!!!

Love this store - I savor coming in and I try to make a pit stop whenever I’m downtown. If you want to return anything, keep the labels. They will refuse your return if you don’t have them, no exceptions.

Tries to come off as a locals surf shop and pulls it off pretty well. Staff was quick to dismiss us even though it it was clear we were there to spend. Carries their own brand and som small label clothing and a few boards.

They have a great selection of clothes that feel very Santa Cruz. The staff is very friendly, and if you have kids they will usually give them a free sticker. This place is a must if you are in town

Staff not too interested in people. Told man in wheelchair who was going in and briefly stopped to talk to someone to not block the doorway. Shop ONeils, Pacific Wave orRipcurl for a Pac Mall surf shop apparel,skateboard, and sunglass friendlier and more compassionate option.
