Anorexic parking spots, beware! Expect door dings. Uncomfortably skinny, long tables centered in front of the cashiers. When a stranger sat directly across from me, touching knee to knee, I considered leaving. Music in there is far too loud, even for a Starbucks. Cant do zoom sessions here.

Absolutely terrible. Long line to order, then utter chaos behind the counter. My wife ordered a straight coffee, nothing fancy. 30 minutes later, still nothing. Drinks made out of order; one lady had asked for no foam, but every time she asked for a new one, it had foam. After 3 attempts she just left. Our coffee was a terrible, weak watery mess. We ended up pouring it down the drain and calling in at a Peets up the road - a 180 degree difference! Avoid this place like the plague unless you have time to kill and arent fussy about your coffee.

Really nice people.I put no ice on my order but there was ice in it. I asked lady work here to change it, they politely said she’ll change my drink and nicely apologized for it too.

Starbucks coffee can’t seem to shake that chemical-y bitter aftertaste, you will get much better coffee at a fast food joint or philz

Order was estimated to be ready at 7:54am, I ordered it at 7:43am on my app, My drinks were ready when I arrived but my food was not ready until 8:08, 12 minutes after I was supposed to pick it up...Now we are running late to school, also the order is wrong they gave me two Bagels instead of two bacon gouda sandwiches. This is the MOST inconsistent Starbucks....and this is not the first time, its almost every other order, either the drinks or food is not ready, and the drink hand-off area is chaos.... I never write bad reviews, but this was pretty bad.

Well decided to get Starbucks with the family and well we regret coming to this one. We had 3 drinks and it would typically take maybe 15 minutes or less but it took about 40+ minutes to get our drinks. Well the store wasnt busy so why the wait? Where they short staff? Nope they had a pretty big staff. It was the staff had no sense of urgency. If youre wonder why didnt you just order online? Well you cant order Fraps on the app atleast for them. So in conclusion anyone who goes there I hope you have patience of a saint cause it may take a while to get your order.

Mobile ordering is getting more and more inefficient now. Sometime you show up at the store with a mobile order and there are already 20 other mobile orders. No way to find out until get to the store. Starbucks should have a canceling capability if your order hasnt made. When they get busy, drinks task gross.

Service needs improvement. Angel was in training and did it better than the rest of the team. Girl was shuffling with the orders she looked so lost. I had to ask someone else to please give me my food.

This Starbucks is fortunate enough to be in a spot where lots of people will stop on their way to wherever theyre going just to grab some coffee. Its good for their business, but that also means there are a lot of people in the shop at the same time. If youre in a hurry, try any other coffee shop on the way to where youre going. You may get your drink faster somewhere else.

Whoever designed their parking lot has obviously never parked a car. The spots are so small that if someone parks to the left of you, you have to wait for them to get their coffee and return to their vehicle before you can get into your own car - the spots are so close that if two cars are parked in the middle of their spots, neither car is able to open their doors. Pure stupid.Service was fine, location was clean, but the parking lot was designed by an idiot.

Best Starbucks in the Santa Cruz area. Friendly staff with great service will make your experience as good as it can be every time. Peak hours can get packed — would highly recommend mobile ordering ahead.

Worse SB ever. Long line. 6 employees working still took forever. Got our order wrong. Yhe bathrooms were filthy. I will keep driving next time.

This Starbucks is the best in customer service and wait time. Parking isn’t great but the service makes up for it. It’s so refreshing to have friendly and nice people right now, I always leave in a better mood than when I walked in.

I ordered ahead to avoid the wait, but when I arrived it took another 30 minute to get a regular coffee. I was frustrated to see that people who arrived after me and ordered at the counter got their drinks before me. When I went to the counter, the young man stated if you got a receipt then we got your order. No apologies. Had I known this was the case Id just order at the counter for a regular brewed coffee, instead of the mobile app

Dont normally drink at Starbucks, but we were out of town, and I was really thristy. Tried their tea, which was not good, but impressed with the new cap that doesnt require a plastic straw. It works great!

So the only good news is that my coffee was good.The bad news, and theres a lot, is #1 the location is RIDICULOUS! What little parking that they do have are spaces so small that a mini cooper needs more than one space to park safely! Homeless people, on more than one occasion, urinating in view of my car! Most drivers irritated that they are scrambling for a place to park BEFORE THEY HAVE THEIR MORNING COFFEE!! Bad set up. Last visit for sure. ✌🏼

I came here 3 days in a row and it was so unorganized.Day 1, I ordered and waited for my loaf and they made it but never called my name to pick it up.Day 2, there were so many people It was impossible to social distance myself. Amongst other things they were getting orders lost and mixed up. To my surprise they had given my order away so I had to wait and ask just so they can make me another order.Day 3, I ordered coffee and a pumpkin loaf. I waited 13 minutes and watch everyone get their orders and leave. I spoke with a supervisor and she stated apparently the order never printed and she blamed it on technology. I told her about my last two experiences and she gave me some excuse about the printer was probably offline and she gave me a $4 gift card.I have visited many different Starbucks across the country as I travel and this was the worst service I had ever received from the company. Although I was not looking for a monetary compensation, I felt $4 was a slap in my face for this amount of inconvenience in 3 days time.This may not be the companys fault however that branch is a representation of them and I will never return to this particular Starbucks branch.

Would be five stars except for the parking lot. The lot is small and spots are tight. It is always full and finding parking is difficult.

I really love this place. You can sit, have your coffee, talk to a friend, or simply read or meditate. The service is friendly, and they make it their business to always fix your coffee exactly the way you want it. Many times by the time I get to the cashier, they already have my special coffee waiting for me. Great place for coffee.

Drinks are great. public bathroom was closed. first time i have been in a starbucks that had a closed restroom. they were serving food and drink.

Placed Mobil order, asked for no syrup in drink, still super super sweet. Waited 30 minutes for order, and had to grab the drink from behind the counter myself, they were like hording all the finished drinks. Very odd.Updates, this drink is so sweet I cant even drink it. Matcha should be bitter not a shot of pure sugar syrup. I waisted my thirty minutes.

In general, Starbucks needs to step into the 21st century for ordering and fulfillment, at least to the extent that Mc Donalds has. Whether an order is placed via their mobile app or in the store, there should be monitors displaying order (by order number) status rather than relying on the old call a name out when an item in an order has been delivered (not necessarily the complete order?). Especially now with face masks and overly loud music. And stop having more than one person fulfilling a single order. Basically you have 2 stations. Food and drinks. Its efficient to have the food portion of a combined order filled separately but all of the beverage portion should be filled by one server. This would eliminate confusion, errors, and delays. Also, organise the line and provide enough equipment to get the orders processed efficiently. Okay Starr$$$$$s?!! Now specific to this store. Ordered paninis... forget about it. Dont waste your time, theyre gross and definitely NOT paninis. We ordered two, both were soggy, and one was completely inedible and the other wasnt what we ordered. And, we had to wait 40 minutes because they forgot to make the food portion of the order which when asked after for the 3rd time they couldnt find though it was ordered and paid for at the counter. Complete waste of time and money. This location is a joke - PASS!

I order two drinks, one with coconut milk and one with regular, and both came with regular milk! Also both came hot, and I wanted one iced. I order online, so it should have been clear. They were also out of the pumpkin muffin I wanted, but gave me a blueberry scone instead.

Probably the slowest service ever. 15 head count of customers and one drink coming out at a time. I ordered my two drinks online and was told 15min.... 40 min later and my online order still isn’t ready. I understand we are doing things slower due to COVID but come on... let’s be realistic about pick up times . Don’t say 15 min then 20 min go by I ask man bun and says it’s going to be longer on top of the 20 mins waiting. It’s 5 on a Saturday, I can’t imagine how they function on busier weekday.

I didnt quite catch his name, but the gentleman who made my drink did a stellar job! Everybody inside was so sweet and it was overall a good experience. So glad to have Starbucks open again!

Great location, always very lively and friendly staff. I do have to say though, and this has nothing to do with the store, the southwestern-most parking spaces are always occupied by the worst parkers. They always take up two spots and leave no room for you or your passengers to get out of the car. I would rate those parkers a 0/5 stars if they had a Google maps location. The starbucks is very good though 5/5 stars.

Great customer service, especially with Dimitri. My dude ordered something he thought he liked in the past but he ended up hating it. So after returning it once asking for it to be sweeter, he returned it again asking for a completely different drink. And Dimitri happily made them with no complaints or extra charge. And they were delicious.

Friendly staff. All tables are closed so no dining in - hence minus one star. Very busy today, but there was a street event in downtown Santa Cruz, so that was related.

This seriously is the worst design Starbucks in the area. There is no parking at all and very limited seating. My guess it was designed just for the courthouse and sheriff use only and not for tourists or locals. Stay away at all costs.

I have been here 3 times and they have the slowest service ever. Last time I went in there was one other customer and it still took over 15 min to get one drink. I will stick to my other local go-to Starbucks. Sorry for the bad review, but I strive to give an honest review.

Its a really lovely shop with day of the dead of the dead decorations. The servers are friendly and welcoming which means a lot to the guests especially first thing in the morning. Its not too far from camp so its great to quickly stop by.

I try to always find the best things about my experiences with every business. The barista that took our order did a great job and the products were what you would expect from Starbucks. However there was definitely an issue with their processes as it too 25 minutes to get our order and the two things we were waiting for did not require any preparation.

Parking sucks at this location. Spots are too small or the lot is full . Lately the afternoon staff is super slow. Bless their hearts . The am staff is always on par .

Took 30 minutes to get an egg bite and iced machiatto. I get that this place gets busy but they didnt even bother to check the counter properly. When I asked for just the drink, which had been sitting on the counter for 15 min, lo and behold the egg bites were there the entire time. Please assign someone to get the orders together when it gets hectic, it saves your customers time, reduces everyones exposure to covid and will help streamline the whole process.

We were an hour and a half from home and couldnt use the restroom, the bay area is now open for indoor dining too...

Barista was nice and friendly wished I had some baristas in my are like the one that helped me out. I was in and out in no time.

Servers were awesome, they made a drink on my nieces request; & it is good. Green tea & 10 pumps of Raspberry. Its new to me but she was happy I tried it! Way to go for the Server!

TO BE HONEST ... DIRTYThis has become another hangout for the homeless and now there is garbage all around, with half the seating taken.I wish I had a better answer and I want there to be space for everyone yet when I get coffee Id like it to be a clean place and it seems thats now not happening anymore 😭

Coffee great. Bathroom there was no toilet paper in either one and trash on the floors in bathroon. No trashcans at all. This was around 9 am or so this means it was obviously not cleaned the night before. For such a great company it was disappointing to see this.

Standard Starbucks. Restrooms require a code that is written on the door. Service during the week was quick(morning). Parking is small, lots of litter around. Good staffs. Big tables, many people on computers.

The parking spots at this store are mostly compact spots and a lot of people that come here dont drive compact cars so they take up a spot and a half. Always busy and always full.

Coffee was fine. Needs more power outlets than just the ones at the table right in front of the service area. Just came back from a three-month mountain vacation to discover I had allowed 400+points to expire by 5 days; got use to the NOT Starbucks Ive been going to [65 mile r/t to the closest SB] which lacked wifi but had more-than-enough power outlets near comfortable chairs/loungers. Guess Im more of the problem than SB is...
