After a Windows update, my computer was stuck on a Bitblocker warning page. Nothing worked. Web reviews said it was impossible to fix without the key. I brought it to Computer Zone, and they fixed it very quickly at a very reasonable price. Everyone was really nice and easy to work with. Great place!

Went to one location to get my laptop fixed. I was never called to be told that it was ready to be picked up (had to call myself to find out after the fact) and when I went to pick up it had been sent to their other location. I was walking and trying to take care of this before work, which meant having to pay for an Uber to get to my shift on time.

Went in to get my iphone 10 screen replaced- dropped the phone off and came back 30 minutes later. When I tried to use the phone it didnt work, so they asked me to come back later so they could try again. When I came back the second time the phone worked fine.Also - the guy who fixed my phone wasn’t wearing his mask for most of the time I was in the store which wasn’t coolOverall, id go back but probably wouldn’t recommend this place to a friend

People working were quite nice, phone screen after one day has started to lag out and not type, “new” battery still drains battery fast. Seems like they could have done better but maybe this is just how it is.

Successful phone repair with very reasonably fees. Actually figured out I didn’t need a data extraction, saving even more money. Good customer service. Supposedly they fix lots of kinds of phones and have lots of lab tools to resuscitate phones. I fixed an iPhone 7.

Extremely rude customer service, PRICE GOUGERS! I came here for a webcam earlier today after calling to confirm they have one. They only had one in stock (Aukey 1080P for anyone who wants to cross check).I saw the webcam listed at $120 and thought that was way to high, so I started to look it up online to see if it actually costs that much, and the attendant (old man) rudely told me that I had to leave the store to look up a product.So thats exactly what I did, I looked up this webcam standing outside the store and found it was listing around $40-50 on various websites. I went back inside to ask if he could price match and he said no. I understand upping prices for convenience fees, but THREE TIMES the price is price gouging! I also saw him sell a dongle to somebody for $60, just ridiculous.I feel bad for the people this company takes advantage of with their outrageous prices. Do yourself a favor and get any item online for a fraction of the price that these thieves charge.

Charging upwards up $100 for a diagnosis is such BS. A lot of un tech savy people will not know they are getting ripped off.DONT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY.

If you have any issue/problem with your computer that you cant solve by yourself, do yourself a favor and get in touch with Computer Zone. Even if you have to travel a long distance, youll see later that it was absolutely worth it. Not only is they totally knowledgeable about everything computer-related, but they are also patient, extremely generous with their time and have great integrity. And on top of all this, reasonable charges, too. What more can you ask for!

I thought I had a cracked screen and took it to Computer Zone. Sam told me that it was a cracked screen protector. He removed it and showed me that the screen was not cracked. He could have easily lied and charged me money. That alone impressed me and when I offered to give him money, he wanted a review. Here is your review,Sam. Thank you so very much. I was charged a service fee for them to look at my phone - which is fine. Then they charged an additional fee and told me they could do nothing. So they charged me extra money, provided no service and told me to come back and try again on Monday, where they would charge me to do the same thing they just did! I wouldnt tell my worst enemy to go to this place. This is absolutely the worst service of any place I have been in Santa Cruz. I could not be more disappointed.

The people who run this place are shills. After being overcharged for my the replacement of my cell phone screen, I had problems with it almost immediately. white spots started appearing on the screen and I was told this was normal (even though this never happened in the two years I had the phone prior to them touching it). After their short warranty ended the screen had massive problems and I was told there was nothing they could do and I would have to pay them all over again.The most alarming thing was that I was told they use cheap parts rather than official parts. Apparently they also do shotty work. What kind of business handles things so improperly and then wont fix things when their work was bad?They are not honest and have no integrity. I cant believe they have as many 5 Star reviews that they do. Its simply amazing. Theyre crooked con men and I wouldnt reccomend my worst enemy to go to this place and give these people business.I own my own business. If any customer of mine ever had a problem with the work I did I immediately fix it or replace their item... because thats good honest business. I dont know why I expect the same from other businesses. Maybe ethics? They have none.DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE BUSINESS! There are other places in town which have far more integity.

Unfortunately the rudest and the least competent computer place I have ever been to! The worker of the mission street location Levi is extremely rude and incompetent! The owner Kevin seems to be running a bad operation and is over controlling as both locations personnel don’t know what they’re doing having to check with him on every little assignment. Very disappointing experience and unless you want to be smugly and rudely preached and talked downed to - don’t go there!

I had a problem with the logic board of a 2010 imac, so took it in. I didnt get the same day response I was told Id get, or even the next morning - but when I called before closing they stayed late to get me a diagnosis within 20 minutes. The next day, it was ready for collection within an hour of confirming the repair. Good people, much cheaper than some other places I checked. Recommended.

My computer was badly damaged and they tried to upsell more service with no guarentee of any results. When I asked for a partial refund they had nothing to offer. Went home with a dead computer and $80 loss. Computer zone was not for me.

Quote took longer than expected. but these guys did a good job of delivering on the specific date and under the quoted price. Also a convenient location to get to compared to their other place and nicer office space. Legit business.

Just had my iPhone screen and sound jack repaired - prompt, fair, and honest. Did a great job. Would absolutely recommend them to a friend.

Very polite and professional. Replaced a BADLY smashed iPhone 5c screen that the Apple Store refused to fix. Was done in 30 minutes, and they offered a tempered glass screen protector to help keep from breaking again. Even with that upgrade it was cheaper than the Apple Store. And they have a reasonable warranty on their work. Will come back again if I break another phone. (But lets hope not.)

AVOID: Went in to get a battery replacement on my iPhone 6. Started off well, was going to cost about $75 which I was willing to pay. They claimed that something was wrong with the screw behind my screen so I would need a screen replacement, costing me $128. I was willing because I was so desperate for a new battery however when I got my phone back:1. The colour of the screen they replaced is totally off and dull2. The home button was completely loose and the Touch ID didnt work anymoreI went back a day later with this problem and the guy was polite and willing to help (found that one of the men was polite and accommodating but the one who dealt with my phone was hostile and rude).When I came back, I was told that, without my permission (and without informing me), the home button had been replaced and hadnt been put in properly. The final solution is that I have a replaced home button that is still loose but the damage done to it is irrevocable, so I will now have to go to apple directly and pay a lot of money.... the gentlemen who served me (but didnt deal with the phone) was nice but Im very upset with the product outcome as now my phone is in worse shape. IEdit: after calling Apple they told me it would be $300 for a replacement for a fault that computer zone are completely responsible for. Went back to the store asking for a partial refund as $128 + $300 is ridiculous and the previously nice guy at the desk was unhelpful and patrionising. He claimed only the manager could deal with refunds and he was away for a week and would be unlikely to.ComputerZone broke my phone; didnt tell me, didnt fix it and then didnt give me any sort of refund.

Very competitive, affordable price and they give me knowledgeable and assertive diagnostic. I have repaired my laptops screen, my iPod so far so good and few days ago this guy Michael recovered a critical information from my broken hard disk. I recommend them 100%.

I was dealing with a MacBook Pro with no wifi for about a year and decided it was finally time to get it fixed. Called most of the places in the city to get estimates and found that Computer Zone computers was the cheapest option. $130 and 2 days later, my wifi card was replaced and was working perfectly!

Have gotten faulty / used-looking parts from them, with huge price markups, and had a big hassle trying to return one of them - the convenience is nice sometimes but Im definitely wary.
