Disappointment all around. Too-busy receptionists, followed by a rushed tech. The Optometrist was good at least. The glasses took longer to arrive than the $15 pair shipped by sea from China. When I came to pick them up, they were so smudged I took them home to clean and only then did I realize why my eyes couldnt focus on the new pair from Plaza Lane - glare. Theres glare on the inside and outside of the lenses. My eyes cant see past it to focus. No returns, no refunds, no exchanges. Absolute junk. 0/5. Would not recommend.

What I love about Plaza Lane Optometry is that all of there equipment is state of the art and the pre exam is very fast and efficient. Dr. Buell takes the time to explain everything if you have questions and will check out any concerns you have. After the exam there are several qualified people to help you choose your frames and work with the eye medical insurance of each client. Also the women at the reception desk are friendly and very helpful.

After my first visit I was very appreciative of the casual environment. The staff was super caring and I had no feeling of rush or just another person needing glasses. Even though it was only my first visit I felt as if I had found home for my eyes. The fact that Plaza Lane had all the up to date technology didnt hurt either. I believe it was the first time in over 25 years of wearing glasses that I actually had fun.

Dr. Buell is lovely and very thorough. The employee who helped me pick out new frames spent so much time with me and helped me pick out some beautiful frames. They also had a lot of choices for frames in terms of colors, styles and cost..

Dr Buell is fabulous. I have seen her for myself and my kids for years and its always a fast, accommodating, professional, warm, experience. She remembers me and my life even though I only see her once a year. Shes fun and playful with my boys (ages 5 & 9 - but theyve had checkups there since age 2). Shes direct and to the point. I like the selection of frames and the technicians are always really kind and helpful and make great suggestions.

We have been patients of Dr. David Farberow for years, and he has provided terrific care for us. His eye examination equipment is current and forward thinking, and the array of frames (if you do need glasses) is vast. They also have Sally who is skilled at helping you find the best frames for your face shape and personality. The doctors are also responsive to patient needs. Earlier in the year I found myself in New York with VERY irritated eyes, a condition that had been treated much earlier and had returned. I emailed the office and a prescription was forwarded to the pharmacy right across the street from my hotel. Now that is great service. The office takes all kinds of insurance and Medicare.More recently 10/22/2020 I had my annual exam with Dr. Jennifer Buell. She was very thorough, personable, and informative. The glasses frame choices continue to be fantastic.I recommend Plaza Lane Optometry without reservation.

Dr. Simmons at Plaza Lane Optometry was extremely helpful. A year ago Id been diagnosed with Binocular Vision Dysfunction by a different optometrist in San Francisco, but the prism glasses I was prescribed made me feel sick, so I got a second opinion from Dr. Simmons. It turned out that I had astigmatisms in my eyes and not BVD. Im very grateful to have found out what was going on with my vision thanks to the second opinion at Plaza Lane Optometry! I went back again this year for my annual checkup. They are excellent and I highly recommend them.
