My fave of the local Dollar Trees...Large, well-stocked store with a frozen section even! This is your One-Stop for party stuff, house decorations, crafts, all kinds of kitchen tools, organizing boxes and more. Dont forget the food - a broad array including things for vegetarians like brown rice and vegetarian spring rolls! Their pizza for one is actually awesome. Stop here first before going to other stores... they may just have it for a buck!

What can I say? This is the only place I can spend 100.00 at and need and want everything I got. The holiday decorations can make your house seem like you spent a fortune. From The glassware and dishes to the office and paint supplies you cant go wrong here. Theres two in Capitola/Twin lake area. Both are clean and stocked. Bring a list. They can pretty much fulfill it every time.

This store is stocked with everything amaginable for a dollar tree store. .IT IS THE BEST IN SANTA CRUZ ...It is super CLEAN and the staff r friendly and helpful and fun to b around...they have the very best body and hair products...I LIVE ON THE WEST SIDE BUT TRAVEL TO PORTOLA JUST TO GET EVERYTHING I WANT. FOR ONLY A DOLLAR. THE TRULY ROCK AT THAT STORE. I LOVE EM

Try to avoid being served by Miranda at this store. Clearly one of those people with a chip on their shoulder, and feels inconvenienced at having to actually serve customers (despite the fact thats her job). Needs to be reminded who pays her wages and its not the customers fault if shes late for her break. If you dont have good interpersonal skills dont work in retail. If I was the manager at this store Id either send her for some training or terminate her employment. She spoke in a VERY condescending manner to a disabled lady who asked if the store had a restroom.

I think that this is the biggest and best stalked Dollar store in the county. A big freezer section, lots of parking and its close to the beach.

Please read this (will keep it short): horrible customer service skills from 3 of the employees. On both the phone, and in person.A few employees reapond aggressively when stressed out and cannot hold their composure.Ability to multitask is too far out of reach for these poor employees.This store, in particular needs to find someone to help them with operations management. Maybe hire another few employees to stock the store consistently?If youre going this store for any electronics, especially phone accessories, Please do not waste your gas. Both this place and the one on 41st Avenue is nothing but a monkey show. Ive never seen so many employees high off whatever just to make it through the day in my life. Can never keep a manager. They go through employees like toilet paper for a good reason. They cant keep the place clean for the love of Christ. And I can go on and on

They immediately opened 2 registers when a line formed. My cashier, a young man, was extremely friendly and efficient.

How can you beat paying $1 for anything in the store? It is unbelievable that anyone can sell the goods at this store for only a dollar apiece. Not the highest quality goods but definitely worth the money. I love Dollar Tree!

Nice size store, it has frozen & refrigerated food alone with all the regular stuff you come to expect. pretty good customer service most of the time, although long lines are their down fall. New upper management I think because they have being keeping in stock pretty Good lately!...

This is one of the few stores in Santa Cruz that has the freezer section in the back of the store. The organization and cleanliness of the store is better than some other Dollar Trees in the area theres never really too many people there so its fairly easy to check out.

The store is nice and kept tidy but lady with dark short hair is AWEFUL TO CUSTOMERS. NOT FRIENDLY OR HELPFUL IN THE LEAST. RUDE!!! I WILL NEVER SHOP AT THIS DOLLAR TREE AGAIN.

Just your average dollar tree. They have to keep costs down so the store is usually slightly unkempt and theres only ever 1 to 2 cashiers open at any given time. The wait is never too long though and they are very freindly.

Same as the other Dollar Trees. They have a small sign so that is not easy to see. Nice to have them here. This town does not even have Walmart.

I have always come in here periodically for candy, toothbrushes, and water/soda. I have from time to time come in with 10min to spare and had no issues from staff. This evening I was yelled at in an aggressive manner when I came in to get a candy. The verdict was they where closed yet there was as usual 5-10 mins to spare. I always make an effort to be polite to the employees as I have seen some difficult customers at this location. Really did not appreciate the aggressive screaming from staff. While I understand the stressful nature of customer service and this particular location I am a regular customer, who makes a conscientious effort to be polite to all of the staff indiscriminately.

We came on a Sunday after the supply truck had arrived earlier in the day. They had everything! The staff was super helpful in finding everything we needed.

1 checker.. Waited in line about 10 minutes when the register freezes on the 2nd customer ahead of me.. The sales clerk takes the merchandise of the person in front of me to another register leaving me to reload my cart by myself.. When I finally put everything back in.. About 40 items... And head over to the new register there are now 8 customers ahead of me with no offer to bring me to the front of the line... Behind me there are another 6 customers while another sales person goes back to stocking shelves... Guess customer service isnt important to them...
