Best leather shop I have visited in the tri-county area! Ross is super knowledgeable, happy to help you find solutions to projects and overall just a wonderful person. I highly recommend this shop for the huge selection of: leather, buckles, rivets, tools, you name it. If he doesnt have it in stock then he is great at special ordering the parts you need and on top of that, calling you when your products arrive. This is absolutely my go to store for all of me leather crafts and projects. If you work a normal full time job it can be a little tricky getting into the store during the week since he is currently open until 5 during the week, but he is also open on Saturday until 5pm, so it works out in the end. Just finished making a bag using supplies purchased from here and gearing up to start making some moccasins. He is very friendly and interested I hearing about the stuff you are working on! So stop on by! Support Local and dont bother with the online shopping.

The gentleman helped me with designing a cosplay prop. Had exactly what I needed and went into detail on what I had to do. Highly recommend if you need leather or leather working supplies.

Santa Cruz Gear Repair recommended I check out this shop to find a piece of sheepskin to repair my vintage jacket. I had no idea this place existed! It was pretty busy, people were planning projects, the owner was very helpful and made sure that every customer was personally helped. I found the piece I needed at a good price. Now I need to get some crafting skills so I have a reason to come back!

Every time I go in he always has answers to any of your leather needs! I am thankful for his business being open and all he provides.

Leatherwise is probably the most homey specialty store Ive ever been to. I appreciated the vastness of the selection of leathers they had and the overall ambience of the store. As I walked in, it felt like it was a mix between an old western general store and a posh haberdashery. I could not recommend this store enough if you need anything leather or leather adjacent. The owner was definitely on it!

This store is a trove of treasures, nooks and crannies fill with small surprises. You can find just about everything for leather crafting here. I could browse there all day. My only hesitation is that I live in Santa Clara and the store is in Santa Cruz!

Great selection of leather and leather goods. Perfect for craft making with bins of scraps at really cheap prices. The friendly and helpful staff will show you the back stock area that is ceiling full of gorgeous leathers if you ask. Be prepared to buy a lot, theres so much you cant pass up.
