Doug the repair person is great. We had some difficulties (not his fault) and he stayed in touch and was extremely kind and conscientious. Give Doug a big raise. He reflects well on Hot Springs!

Be warned. These are terrific hot tubs - there’s no question about that. Unfortunately the delivery side of the business is a complete mess. Morning of delivery: “Sorry. The delivery truck broke down”. This was resolved after I had to push for a solution. After delivery, you will have an electrician out to complete the circuitry and wiring at your expense - this is customary and discussed beforehand. However, when your electrician says that you’re missing parts, everything halts to a standstill. I was contradicted when I called the shop to communicate that hardware was missing until they finally said that I was correct in missing electrical hardware. Apparently there’s a final inventory list completed with each delivery and in my case, it was checked off fraudulently. I was missing an entire sub panel. Long story short, my electrician left and I’m still staring at an empty hot tub in my backyard that cost $20,000. That’ll be at least another $160 service call when I’m able to have one out again. I feel like once the business has their money, you’re placed on the back burner. Poor experience.

The Hot Springs team in Santa Cruz has been awesome to work with and I absolutely love my new spa: its huge, its beautiful, and has so many fun ways to configure its super jets that Im going to be happily fiddling for years!

Absolutely best hot tub store in Santa Cruz. I was able to find a better hot tub with strong local repair support at a much lower price than other stores in the area. Ended up saving 3k and getting a better product which speaks for itself. I had also explored the hot tub fair that was happening at the fairgrounds at the same time. Super glad that I went local after reading complaints online about maintenance for tubs without a repair center nearby. I feel a lot more comfortable having strong local repair support on such a big investment.

From the time we looked at spas at various stores, we found Hot Springs of Santa Cruz to be the most helpful and knowledgeable. And yes, we purchased from them. From the time we purchased the spa, delivery and set up and later calls from them checking on our satisfaction, we found that we made the right choice to purchase from Hot Springs of Santa Cruz!

This business has been in Santa Cruz for years, and for good reason; staff provides excellent customer service and are always helpful. The quality products and supported warrantees are the best. We went with the Ozone water system and are pleased. We have to empty the tub only once a year and the water can go onto our landscaping. Easy to clean and it is a far cry from the work involved in cleaning a swimming pool. We waited a long time to get a hot tub, and Im glad we waited for the BEAM 1. Thanks. Su and Tom in Santa Cruz

Updated againWe had a few problems out of the gate with this tub. For the first few days it ran, the temperature was consistently lower than the temp reading. This seemed to go away after about a week of running the tub. Working fine now and enjoying it.UpdatedAfter a few initial hiccups with customer service, hot springs sent out a repair person first thing in the morning and promptly fixed an issue we had with the temp sensor not being properly connected. This did not fix the water temp issue (still luke warm), but at least the hot tub turns on now.

Thinking of buying a spa? Do it!! And make your first and only stop at Hot Springs of SC.The hubs and I bought ours a month ago and are in it at least once a day and sometimes three times! Its one of the best additions to our home and we cant believe we waited this long. We now have a way to enjoy a part of our yard that had gone unused for 15 years. We love it!Chad worked with me to determine our needs and asked all the right questions. We ended up with a smaller floor model due to size and budget constraints. Its perfect.The delivery fellas were super helpful and clearly reviewed the set up and care instructions. It seemed very intimidating at first but was easy and maintenance is a breeze now.We look forward to jumping in the tub at the end of every day to relax, connect and ease our aching joints.Heaven. :)Do it!

This is the second spa weve purchased from Hot Spring Spas. The first was an ozone system, which was fabulous. The one we got in June is the salt water system, which is even better. The water quality is amazing. I dont feel or smell any chemicals. The team that came to install the tub was great as well. I even got a call two months after wed bought the tub just to make sure everything was going well with the but. Excellent customer service!!

I had a great sales experience with Chad at Hot Springs Spas of Santa Cruz. We did a virtual sales experience and it turned out great! He walked me through their spa options using the web site and by walking around the showroom so that i could see tub details. He provided recommendations and answered a ton of questions and provided recommendations related to maintenance, installation, and features. I would highly recommend purchasing a hot tub from Chad and this store.

They guys took excellent care of me! They were extremely kind and answered all my questions. I bought a used hot tub and the ozone was not functioning. They were kind enough to walk me through the process of switching everything out and had the parts to do it in stock!!! They even gave me a used spare ozonator at no charge just incase something went wrong! Above and beyond my expectations and I’m a customer for life. Thanks guys!!!

Hot Spring Spas has been providing excellent customer service to me for the past 20 yrs, led by Chad Offereins. Ive had 2 hot tubs for all these years and Chad has been very accessible and helpful for whenever servicing is needed. Quality low maintenance hot tubs without chlorine and strong customer service!

We bought a Limelight Beam spa/hot tub from Chad at Hot Springs Spas in Santa Cruz in October, 2018 and it has been one of the best purchases we have ever made. We also got the cover lifter and the umbrella. We love the cover lifter and couldn’t live without it. I would absolutely recommend anyone buying a spa to get the cover lifter. We do not really use the umbrella and I wouldn’t recommend getting one. We use our spa about 4-5 times a week, and it is always perfect. Taking care of the chemicals at first seemed complicated, when we were handed a box of what seemed like a lot of bottles of chemicals, but we were also given laminated instructions on using them. Chad, and the other helpful people at Hot Springs Spas, is also good at explaining how to use the chemicals, should questions ever arise. At is turns out, keeping the water clean and balanced is actually pretty easy. We add one capful of the Shock once a week, and only occasionally need to add any other chemicals. The 24-hour ozonation keeps the water super clean as well. The jets are really powerful and extremely therapeutic for working out tight back muscles. I would probably set up the jet patterns differently, but overall, they’re fine. We also love the waterfall and the colored lights inside and outside of the spa. We love everything about our spa and can’t imagine not having it. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Limelight Beam spa and Hot Springs Spas in Santa Cruz.

The sales staff here was excellent. I came in for an obscure part for my older Hot Spot spa. Chad the sales rep helped me buy the tub originally. He has continually helped me over the years to keep my hot tub alive and well. I give Hot spring spas my highest recommendation.

Spa owner for one month. Very impressed with the overall quality of the spa. Had a bit of a problem with a faulty plug right away but they went way out of their way to have it fixed quickly on a Friday even though their tech was fully booked on other projects quite a distance away. We have owned a Hot Spring Spa for 15 years. Living in the mountains with a well that has water quality of bad to terrible, the tub eventually gave up the ghost. We talked with Jerry at Hot Springs spa who guided us through alternatives, professionally and honestly. We attempted a repair effort to try and prolong the existing one but eventually succumbed to the law of diminishing returns and bought a new one. The Hot Springs crew had an enormous task on their hands to haul the old one out - up a flight of stairs after cutting it up into pieces. I wish I could have witnessed the whole episode as this was a huge task. By the time I returned home from work everything was removed and there was no debris or mess to speak of. Nice jobs guys! 2 days later, the crew arrived with the new tub. Like magic, I arrived home again to find it in place. It is filled up and working like a charm. Hopefully at least another 15 years of pleasurable tubbing is ahead.Hot Springs is a great company to work with for professional service and support. The crew were excellent in making this painless for me.

Over the last 25 years I have purchased three hot tubs in Santa Cruz. The first two purchases were not Hot Springs Brand, they were purchased elsewhere. Those businesses are no longer there. The Santa Cruz Hot Springs store has been here all along. I am glad that I purchased a Hot Springs Spa from our local dealer. The product quality and the service from the store personnel has been exceptional.

I am updating a previous review as Hot Springs Spa made a nice effort to make amends after a couple problematic service appointments. Essentially what had happened was that I was charged much more than I had initially agreed to for two service appointments, without any notice of the change in charges. After following up with them, I was not initially offered any sincere apology or gesture of apology like a credit or an honoring of the original price. However, they later reassessed the situation and have since called me to give a very sincere apology, explain how the miscommunication came about, and to also honor one of the original prices I believed we agreed to for the service appointment, and a credit for our next service appointment. I can tell they do care about their customers and are willing to hold themselves accountable for mistakes made, which I was led to believe was not the case earlier. I stand corrected, though I will wait until my next experience with them to (hopefully) go above a three-star review. I think there are some practices they could improve on in communication about charges, but I do hold hope that they will be ironed out by the next time I use Hot Springs Spas.
