Very rude and way over priced

Not really open until 1:45am. Whomever is in charge of these listings please update you info. Also their prices tend to be more than expensive, gougers for sure - BUT if they really were open until the posted time I might be a little more forgiving with their insanely high prices ( if in pinch at 1:30am. ) But really you could get a better deal shopping at an airport.

The owner kind of creeps on women and the prices are high. But its the only really convenient liquor store downtown and theyre open late! If you have the time and its before 11, I would recommend going the extra few blocks to lloyds liquor store on soquel and ocean.

I came their this evening around 10pm, the latino guy behind the counter was real ghetto and gangster. I asked him about a three pack of bud light, he said, “Ese, its $9.69 and its expensive” then i asked him how much a tall can of bud lite would cost and he responded, $5 and its too expensive for you” this was one of the worst visits. Clearly, he’s costing his employer money. One more thing... there was an older latina woman With a toddler who walked in the store, He skipped trying to help me, to talk spanish to her. By the way, this woman was smacking her child outside the liqour store, in which the police arrived to stop her and investigate. I would not recommend visiting this liqour store. People hang out and smoke weed right out front of the store as well. I find this liquor store worker to be the rudest, unprofessional individual who is over charging customers. Please do not visit this store to buy anything.

I like this store. Its a whole lotta booze stuffed into a tiny hole in the wall. But be sure to get there before 1:45 am if you want to get something to keep the night going, it gets packed once the bars start announcing last call.

BEWARE! The guy at the front register was extremely rude to me when I asked why a beer that costs two bucks EVERYWHERE else in town costs five bucks there.... there were tons of drug addicts out front. It was over all a frightening experience. I think the cashier had to be pocketing the extra money for the beer because I buy it EVERYWHERE in the same area. Trust me when I say the good reviews are from owners or management... unless the guy was a crook. Dont go there... TRUST.

I know Ive bought stuff in here when I drank. But mainly this place gets huge points for being a yuppie-repellent. A yuppie/techbro would not be caught dead in here and thats worth 5 points right there.Really, its a liquor store, they probably have some shoplifting issues (some??) so expect to be watched like a hawk if they dont know you, and expect non-yuppies and non-techbros.

I got 12.00$ worth of stuff and I handed the guy a twenty and he gave me 30 cents back. He then denied it even though my broke ass just borrowed a twenty from a friend. That was all that I had so I am certain he was lying. They are crooks.
