One star due to customer service of this location. I go in with my boyfriend who is struggling carrying a large heavy box. We get to the counter, a woman tells us we need to fill out one of the forms on a counter behind us before she helps us. Fine, no problem. We do that, and re-wait our turn in line. Still not a problem. A different person helps us the second time, and says sorry, we cant ship boxes that arent cube shaped (it was an odd shape). What the heck, maybe tell us that before we waste our time filling out a form...? They could clearly see the box. Good grief. Thanks for the inconvenience.

Not happy. Never received a tracking number. Tried calling to get it and it took 3 phone calls!!! Then I find out my package was damaged!!! Do not send anything with these people!!! You are better off using USPS or UPS!!

Great help with package and sending. Thats all I ask and need. Would be nice if they have a water fountain.

I brought in a box to return recently, waiting in line 10 minutes, and got yelled at! Inexcusable. Also next to no physical distancing in there, which was awkward. Went to the Capitola FedEx instead and was helped professionally, swiftly, and with a smile. Ive been to this Santa Cruz location dozens of times through the years, but wont be back if I can help it.

So the important thing to note, is the cutoff for overnight service to the East Coast is 4:30 p.m. during the week, and the weekend it is 3:00 p.m. . So get your boxes there before that by 15 minutes. If you miss this place go to Soquel office, which is 5pm all days

I took an item for return to seller for a refund. The clerk just took the package and threw it on a pile and said I didn’t need a receipt. That was my mistake for not insisting on a receipt. I was anxious for my refund. 2 weeks after taking it to fed ex, the package was RETURNED TO ME!!!!!!! Now I have to go back and return it yet again. The seller has been expecting it back. This carelessness has caused me a great deal of inconvenience. And, yes, they are very understaffed.

Needed a printing job done same day. Person working there saved me +$50 on a printing job of 100 plus fliers. Definitely will be coming back here again.

The online order said my docs would be ready last night. They called to ask if this morning was ok. Called then at 11 am to ask about status. They said it would be ready at 4. I asked if they could do 3:30 because we had to be somewhere. They said theyd call us when it was ready (pretty consecendingly). I get a call at 3:45 that it was ready, which was too late so we had to rush over there later that evening . . .

Not good. Credit card machine was broken when I came in. My card was charged, even though it said it wouldnt go through. Not surprisingly the charge went through and they would not issue a refund even though no package was shipped when I called back.When I called to talk to the manager and she hung up on me.When I called the 1800 number I got the expected results. I just want my $9 back. Is that too much to ask?:(

I actually like this FedEx/Kinkos a lot. I find the people, yeah the guys, in there have worked there for years & are very helpful to me. occasionally what are the machines goes on the blank, like one of the 2 fax machines, or one of the 5 color printers. And anytime I have a question or problem with any machine, the guys come right out and help problem solve... if I make a bad copy or hit a button I didnt mean to, theyve always been willing to give a refund for my mistakes.My only concern with this particular Kinkos is they seem a little short-staffed on occasion.But its still a five star Fed Ex location !

Ive been there enough, giving them more opportunities than they deserve, to just do the bare minimum, yet to no avail. Typical Santa Cruz business, where even under a mainstream corporate establishment, with proven success, they can manage to offer below standard effort and care, resulting in even more sub-standard execution of their duties... The lack of work ethic and mental presence, only pails in comparison to the apathy that exudes from these individuals, who drag on the atmosphere around them just by their sheer existence (attitude).... which is all it purports to be to them.... existence. I am sad for them, but angry at myself for trusting them, again, and expecting a better result, even when walking them through it like holding the hand of five year old. That, more than anything, is what actually saddens me...

Had an excellent experience producing invites for a wedding reception, including printing on cardstock and folding it three times. Also bought some envelopes, but ended up finding better ones at another store. Kinkos accepted the return, no questions asked.

Spent $10.00 to try to download itunes and used up most of my funds and I couldnt even finish downloading becuase their internet is so slow.....omg I could have used that $10.00 for something better. So disappointing

While it is usually quite quick to get to the front of the line here, the staff are surly, often to the point of rudeness. I only come here if Im making a return on an online purchase that requires me to ship via FedEx. Extra minus points for the staff member who informed me my box wasnt taped well enough (it was), because FedExs shipping chain has belts at 40mph and our drivers dont care for packages (I dont see how your abusive shipping practices are my fault) and then proceeded to repeatedly punch the top of the box in front of me until the tape came loose to prove his point.

I ship from this fedex hundreds of packages a year--this team is great, always goes above and beyond to help me out and bends over backwards to gets my shipments out on time. I always use this fedex over any other.

Used to ship here regularly, but doubt I will be back.

Wow. This place is horrible. I went there twice in two weeks and the internet was down both times (and I learned, continuously throughout the two weeks... its probably STILL down... but I wont take a chance by going there to find out).Because of the internet debacle, the gentleman behind the counter offered to do my scanning behind the counter and put it on to a flash drive that I could buy for $8.99. Really? I suppose thats a nice offer, but how about we just get with the times and fix the internet. Im not paying $8.99 to scan one piece of paper. Where is anyone that cares about lost business and crappy services? I looked, but alas, I couldnt find anyone.The second time I went in there and the internet was STILL down, I decided that I would never return to this location. Just the vibe of this place sucks. So I will be traveling to Capitola from now on, because they have been, at the very least, reliable.But if FED EX/KINKOs is reading this by chance? How about we get even MORE up with the times and lose the desktop scanners and get copiers that scan and send to email in one shot. Scanning one page at a time is time-consuming and archaic. I know this is a profitable company (well, except maybe Santa Cruz... they cant even afford to get their internet fixed...), so how about some upgrades, eh? We spend enough on each page of every service to pay for this and more, Id think.

If I dont have to, I will never go there for any business. People who work there are neither friendly nor helpful. It is a bad business practice.

Friendly, Helpful and Informative staff. The place is very large with many additional facilities as well (ex: Free Web Usage).

The staff was super helpful and friendly when I went in to take care of a shipment. Made sure it was going to the right place with the correct remarks and made sure I want paying to much for unnecessary shipments.

Generally good service, and good technical help. You just have to go in during off peak hours.

It is possible to get something printed or shipped here. Just stick to the self service machines. They are always understaffed so, although the people working here are friendly and generally efficient, they will most likely not be able to help you.

They waived their 24 hour poster requirement for me .. twice! Kinkos, keeping grad students sane since at least 2007.
