Price gouging to the max! The mechanics are good and kind but the the Big O toe corporation adds 300% or more to almost any part that you buy. A $60 shock there will cost you $270 at Big O. Good for alignment and oil. Dont go of you need real work done. Find a local shop and do your research on parts!!!!!!

Great service. Got a oil change, replaced a wheel bearing, a new tire. My car has been running great just the check engine light is now on and the exclamation signal. I spent alot of money here I aint to happy with these lights being on. Also I got priced to fix ac and heater nearly 3k Im better off purchasing a new vehicle.

Came in first thing in the morning on a Saturday after my tire exploded from being so worn. Tony was the best! He was so nice, informative, and compassionate. Customer service is a 10/10 hands down and the mechanics are super efficient! They changed all 4 tires, identified a problem with my engine oil (and fixed it), and double checked my spare and had me on my way in an hour. Highly recommend this place!

Hugo the manager was wonderful to work with! We were on vacation from out of town and got an irreparable flat and it was a family members vehicle. Hugo was very helpful and patient in communicating to an anxious family member the plan for the vehicle and reassuring them of its safety. He did this while juggling a busy morning as the only person at the front desk, managing multiple check-ins and phone calls--all with the greatest professionalism. If Hugo were in Denver, we would bring all our vehicles to him!

We were in Santa Fe from Maryland and picked up a nail in our tire. Fortunately it was a slow leak and we could drive to a repair shop. Tried Discount Tire but they were booked for days (even though I bought my tires from them and have the road hazard coverage).Found this Big-O Tires just down the street.They took us practically immediately, did a patch and plug, and didnt charge us for the work!I was really amazed, and happy.I will give them my business when I finally move to NM. Very nice pleasant employees. They were quick to help me and offer assistance. Went in there to have a tire fixed or possible replace. They informed me they could not repair my tire but they were able to locate a good tire for me. Not much of a selection at the time of my visit. But if I was willing to wait a few days they would be able to get me anything I needed. Unfortunately circumstances dictated I could not. Pleasant all around experience they brought the tire out to me placed in my vehicle and was quickly taking care of very professional employees.

I am from out of town so you really don’t know what type of service you are going to get. I had one of my RV tires start to leak and needed it fixed. I picked Big O because I was able to schedule an appointment early the next day. These guys were great. In on time and a quick turn around on the tire. This was five star service.

Recent visits have led me to believe that they no longer are able to live up to their great services. I not only take my own personal vehicles, but I also take company vehicles and family vehicles. Recently, they have been out of their game with customer service, not being communicative, not able to keep their promises, not performing the correct work on car, and have gained some rude employees. Also, they have been saying that they are checking certain things when they actually have not checked that item at all. Im highly dissatisfied with the knowledge that their new employees have, they are either resetting the wrong light or dont have the knowledge to reset them, as well as making mistakes when working on car that causes them to keep whatever car I bring in, longer. I enjoy working with Hugo(manager), but I am no longer able to trust his employees. Theyve always had great prices and exceptional services, but that has all gone down hill these past few months.EDIT:I decided to give Big O tires another shot, and let me tell you, they went beyond what they had to. They really made up for their mistakes and they took the feedback really well. Ive taken/suggested three friends to go over there in the past week and every experience was similar to how great it used to be. I had my girlfriend take her car to Big O tires before a big road trip, and on her road trip her engine light came on, I called Big o tires and they had her go to the nearest Big o tires (Trinidad), they even called them and explained what was happening. The engine light was not on due to their prior work, but due to high miles. It was all about the care that they have for their customers that really makes this place special and trustworthy.

Well at this point I’m concerned I got ripped off and am waiting for a manager to call me. Went here due to some mild pulling they suggested an alignment which I approved, charged me for a balancing as well which I didn’t know was going to be done, told me the rear control arm needed to be replaced ($450). I got a second opinion from Autocare 2000 who said that doesn’t need to be replaced.Update…I called big O and talked to the manager, and after hashing it out was told the replacement isn’t a safety hazard, doesn’t affect driving and is merely “recommended”. That should have been clearly communicated the first time.I think overall these guys are nice but communication needs improvement. However I now know what questions to ask to understand things in the future.

We have gone to Big O tires for all of our major tire issues and have been happily taken care of! Their facility is clean, their staff are excellent and very friendly, and they are efficient. We’ve gotten new tires, alignments, balance and tire patches and have been completely satisfied every time. They are not the cheapest around, but you pay for the quality all around their shop. I got a flat tire the night before I was leaving town. I called the dealer, Firestone, Quinn Tires, and Discount Tires. No one had the tire. Big O had a couple of options in the tire size I needed. Weve been living in Santa Fe for the last year and half and visited Big O tires several times for both our Nissan rogue and Ram 3500 dually. Every time we received excellent service. Its a very busy place and there might be a bit of wait but the service representatives and technicians are courteous, efficient and professional. We got brand new tires for the Rogue and just had it rotated for free. Easy in and out without any hassle. I was having problem getting air into the tires of our dually and they took care of it in 10 minutes without any cost to me. This is the place to use in Santa Fe if you have tire needs, and we will be back!

My 19 year old daughter took her car in for an alignment. Upon picking up her car the man behind the counter tells her she is in desperate need of some tires and he highly recommends she get some. She proceeds to tell him she just bought new tires from them 2 days ago, the man stuttered and said well we check everything to make sure your car is running well. Talk about trying to rip her off! Hmmm... Anyway the next day my daughter gets on the highway, she starts hearing a thumping noise and her car was shaking. She pulls over, checks her tires, they are not flat. She notices the lug nuts on her back tire are about to fall off. Looking at the other reviews someone missed lug nut class!

I came over and got my tires aired up for free in seconds and the bathroom was incredibly clean and nice too

They left our oil cap off. I drive over 100 miles before we discovered it. Were hoping the engine isnt damaged from driving with low oil. Were never going there again. This is a serious mistake that any decent mechanic wouldnt make.

I have been coming here since they opened up the shop and always did good work to my cars, Never had I had any complaints with them, Until I took my 2016 Camaro to them about a week ago and took 5 hrs to finish and alignment and left my car to die for, It was good when I left until later on that day I was driving and the steering wheel slipped to one side and almost crashed into the car next to me, I had a feeling of what it was, Which was loose bolts and the wheels where slanted sideways on the back, Making the cars dangerously to drive, I took the car to the shop and the guys that fixed my car previously from caliber collision took pictures of what was wrong and It was bolts not screwed in properly to where it marks it with a marker that it’s factory put there, And as I suspected it was that same reason,I’m not to sure if I should go back again and get service with them anymore.Until Im proven other wise .

Used to do business with discount tire, expert tire and others, I will not go anywhere else other than Big O from now on. I know it sounds cliche... but they have friendly knowledgeable staff, top notch equipment and service, i went and got 2 tires, a couple months later went and gave them the business of getting the other 2. They informed me of any potential issues i may need to deal with in the future, and also my brakes were squeaking and they fixed it without telling me. Ive had horrible experiences other places and was hesitant to let anyone else work on my car but both times i had the same professional courteous service so I know its not an isolated incident or an accident!! Thanks guys for all you do!!

Dangerous work... About a month ago used Big O Tires to replace tires on my car and install a factory lift kit.Surprisingly, mechanics forgot to tighten (or maybe forgot to install?) the mounting bolts for the rear shock absorbers, for both! of them... Almost a month after visit, on a first long drive, about 500 miles away from home, exiting highway, I suddenly realize that one of the shock absorbers is totally disconnected, and the other one is about to fall as well... Sunday morning, all services closed, and I need to get home...Went to at least 5 stores before could find some bolts and washers for temporary fix of the problem, lost ton of time, some money, and got really stressed and scared. I can only wonder what else they forgot to tighten/install...The tire is probably damaged (can see a trace of the absorber rubbing against it on photo). The car needs to be fixed (at least proper bolts need to be in and tight)... Seriously disappointed!

Purchased four new tires. So far, so good.•The manager sat with me to tell me my brakes were shot, as were the struts. He advised me the cost to take care of those “worn out” items was about $4,000.00• I took my car to my personal mechanic, where I live, in Taos. He laughed. The brakes, he said, have about 40-50% life left. The struts will be good for a long time.•When I reviewed the invoice, I was charged $96.00 for a warranty, which I never asked for, and was never asked if I wanted. They did reverse the charge when I told him I was not happy with that.I would not trust this facility for anything.Preying on customers to upsell unnecessary repairs is against the law.Find another place to get your tires; a place which has integrity.We’ll see how long this post last’s on their website!

I recently got all 4 tires replaced at Big O in Santa Fe. This location was recommended to me over others by 2 locals. It took me a while to make my decision. Dickey was very helpful throughout this process! The tires i wanted werent listed prominently on their website so he had to call other locations to find them and get me a price. He located them in CA and gave me several quotes for different options. He was good with follow up but was not pushy. He was very patient with my decision making process. And the actual process of getting the tires put on went very smoothly as well. Its valuable to have a relationship with someone at the store I find because I plan to go back for regular tire maintenance ;) One detail I was a bit disappointed by was that once I called in to make the purchase the price on the tires had gone up slightly, after he had quoted a different price. It was less than a week after he gave me the quote. It wasnt a huge difference but it would have been nice if they had been able to give me the original price quoted. As the price want listed on their website, I had no way of knowing that the price might/could increase. Every other tire price was the same since I had started the search and that was probably several weeks earlier.

After they took the time to get ahold of me and explain the charges I appreciate that and the good deal I got on some nice tires and their commitment to customer service especially after the sale.

BEWARE::: After looking them up on goggle the website encourages you to order the tires which said were available and provide a quote which I agreed to as they had some discounts which was perfect for my budget. The site also encourages you to make an online appointment and gives you available days and times, and you get a reply email that someone from the store will call you shortly to confirm the appointment. After a few hours when no one called I called the store to confirm as my appointment was the next day. The guy who i spoke to started asking me what size tires I needed and I told him all that info is listed on my appointment which he couldnt find and told me they had no appointments available tomorrow. So I tell him well I made the appt. online and selected the tires and have a quote thats good til 10/31. He tells me that they are not connected to the online stuff so thats why they didnt have the appt or tire info. So I asked him if I can send him the quote he gives me the email n I send it. He tells me as soon as he gets it hell call me to verify n confirm the appointment for couple days from now. Again I dont hear from the dude so I call them. Well the guy who answers says the guy I spoke to is not in but will leave him a note to call me. Again nothing so I call him and he looks for the message cant find it so i tell him if he wants me to send it again ok he finds it. And says he doesnt have those tires but can order them and will be here in 5 days so I set up and appointment for that afternoon. The next day he calls me and tells me he has some other tires that are cheaper and I say ok whats the total which way more than the quote I had for the other tires, i point that out and he agrees that the quote is a better deal and says hell order them (again) n we confirm my appointment. The day of my appt a girl call me to tell me my tires are in and I say ok well see you this afternoon at my appt to put them on. Shes all oh ok you already have an appt ok see you then. Almost 3 hours to put them on, and the price was almost double the quote I received. The guy says he doesnt know what that discount was but there is $100 discount plus the installation shop fees and road hazard is now 400+ from the 200+ quote I told him to take off the road hazard wow 12 dollars still 400+ I pay it and leave never to go back to this place where the left hand doesnt know what the right hand is doing and their website is not connected to the store and they dont honor the quotes their website gives you. I thought i was in the twilight zone and just wanted to get the hell out. So beware if you go to this place Id stay away and go anywhere but here, the quotes at discount tires were better and they honor their quotes.

I had my tires balanced and rotated per the warranty. I watched from the waiting room as the workers performed their tasks, and they did well -- efficient and thorough. I was happy with how they took care of my tires, and I spoke with the tech when he returned the papers to the main shop. He said all was well with my tires and they were at 40 psi. I have confidence in the Santa Fe Big O shop.

We were traveling and needed a sudden oil change. The staff at Santa Fe Sage Inn recommended Big O. The staff there was great. Very friendly, courteous and helpful. The wait was short. I was in and out in a little more than an hour. The environment was clean and cool. Even the restroom was clean. They also offer free coffee. I would go there again if necessary.
