Waited for 15-20 minutes before one of five free employees milling around up front took their time helping the waiting customers. Employee was pleasant but took awhile to get answers to my questions. Despite telling the greeter on entering the store that I wanted an upgrade to the 13 Pro Max iPhone and repeating this to the employee who helped me, it took almost 30 minutes for him to let me know they have been out of these phones for a week. πŸ€¦πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈ

Should go early if u dont want to wait covered all our new phones for about 80 dollars each that isnt bad for how much Im used to paying in the past for OtterBox. I did like that the girl installed the extra coating on my main phone number and she did it really well..I dont believe in prepaid or any cheap phone companies so Ive been Verizon customer since I was 18! And they treat me very well for building this trust with them :)!

The only reason Im even giving it 1 star is because of Marcie and Naely. They were great. Luis, however is a different story. Went in there, he was semi friendly until my husband said we were buying cases and screen protectors elsewhere. Then he gave us an attitude. Because there goes his commission. We were there to exchange an apple watch that we had just received and there was an error with our account. He gave us attitude about it and when I said that we never had Verizon and it was on our credit report he argued with us. He never even finished activating the phones. We went to another store where we were told to go return the watch at the corporate store. When we got there a few of the male employees gave us dirty looks. We were told to wait 40 min. As we did we overheard the Manager Naely and a male employee. He told her that we had already been in and to exchange and couldnt because of our financial situation, Luis had discussed us with several employees in a negative way and told them about what our report came back as. Luis came to help us when our time came up, we refused and waited for the next person . Marcie was great, returned the watch. We went to the other store where he helped us greatly and called the credit department and found the error on our account. He even said the service at the corporate store is iffy. I spoke with corporate offices who said they are not allowed to discuss your finances with anyone other than the manager and asked if we wanted to file a formal complaint. Thanks to Marcie for helping and Naely for not the employees talk badly about us while we were there. Luis is why we almost cancelled our service.

The employees here are neither knowledgeable or particularly helpful. Told the woman at the door exactly what we needed to do (transfer ownership of a line, get a new phone). She directed us sit and wait for 45 minutes for the next available associate. When it was finally our turn, they guy told us oh you need to do that over the phone yourselves and proceeded to help another customer. They also have a VERY limited selection of phones, and we ended up having to order one on our own anyway. Wasted an hour of our time. If theres any way you can avoid it, do NOT go to this store.

Went in to buy a new phone and possibly upgrade our plan. Wait time was twice what was estimated, which wasnt a big deal. However, the gentleman who assisted us was not knowledgeable on the differences between the plans offered. I found out later that he told us the opposite of what was found to be true. I understand the Verizon, the service, is seeking to rip people off as mercilessly as possible. However, I do expect to be able to go to one of their stores any urgent problems I might be experiencing. Not the case with this store. I lost my phone and needed to access my Verizon account immediately. I didn’t have any ability to do so except my going into the store. Once there I had to wait forty minutes just to enter the store. Turns out there was a problem accessing my account because it was under my brother’s name. The dullard I encountered working at the store contended that I would need to bring my brother, who lives an hour away, into the store with his physical ID just so I could access my account. This was not the case. Another customer at the store lent me his phone and I was able to finally get ahold of my brother, get his pin, and get him to add me as an authorized user of the account over the phone. I then purchased and set up a new phone at Best Buy across the street. Overall, then, the people at the store were rude, incompetent, and unhelpful. I’ve never had a positive experience at a Verizon store, but this was certainly the worst overall experience given the urgency and simplicity of my needs and the employees’ complete ineptitude and dishonesty.

Bad customer service. I wanted to buy something today and just wanted to call to make sure they had it in stock. Spent an hour on the phone trying to connect to someone but kept getting sent to bots. NO option to talk to a real person, I tried several times. Save your time and go to a reseller store down the street that picked up the phone ASAP and answered my questions with great customer service !

I went in waited in line for 1hour. Which was non sense as their were only 2 of us but the girl kept going in to chat. So I asked her I just bought this phone I need someone to help me set it up with strong security and VPNs. She says go to Best buy hire the geek squad. Probably wondering as I was why? None of us are equipped to do anything technical. Or setting up phones we only answer questions. I said since when she informed me since the pandemic. This store had been awful since day 1. You always hear people complaining about them but nothing changes. Another wasted trip to VERIZON.

Today I am standing outside waiting for the manager. One of the employees just told me they will Not transfer my phone data from my broken one to the replacement one. They recommend I use the support services over the phone. The new hours they offer is 10 till 5 pm.so Verizon is probably doing well financially during this pandemic. Yet reducing services. We rely on them for so much. They are essential. If anything they should offer longer hours to help loyal clients stay connected and avoid other clients and staff. I will update this after results are confirmed.

I had a phone that was not able to charge. After researching possible causes, I determined my wall unit charger had failed.With many businesses closed etc, I wasnt sure if the local Verizon store was open. Or that they would have a charger compatible with my phone.The store was open and had a line of customers, socially distanced waiting for entry. All were asked to wear masks.A customer service representative met me as I approached the queue. She was masked.She discussed my issue. Confirmed my diagnosis. And where many of the customers would have to wait their turn, she volunteered to bring the required charger to me in line.She used her Apple iPad to handle the transaction. I handled the payment through a link she sent me via email.When I paid for the charger I was sent an email receipt. I was able to complete my entire transaction standing Outside their store on a beautiful summer morning in Santa Fe New Mexico.Product performed as defined. She made the trip for much less of a hassle than I expected.They, despite the pandemic, were able to provide the products and services I needed in under 20 minutes. And she professionally greeted other customers and directed them into line, or elsewhere, as appropriate.Great job!

After 20 strait years of customer loyalty and using this specific store since they opened on Zafarano road, the sales person wouldnt sell me a phone they had in stock cuz it was the last one (not reserved either). So I had to buy it online then guess what, couldnt set it up from home (surprise). Ill pay the $50 fee to return the phone and start buying expensive phones from and giving large sums of money to the competition. (same phone is also about $300 less from T mobile and the same contract is $20 less per month by the way so thanks for the long term savings)

These people at Verizon Store (Zafarano St.) should learn how to speak with their customers. My wife upgraded her phone and bought accessories from their store and during the process; we were told that we can return the device anytime within 14 day in case if there is any problem. Within two days, the phone froze twice and the apple watch flickered every 4 to 5 hours. We visited the store again to get a replacement but the staff was very rude and didn’t help us at all. Without checking the phone or accessories, we were told to pay the restocking fee. On top the manager β€œMelissa” who instead of being empathetic was so rude to even accept that the sales rep didn’t go over all the information. Didn’t feel sorry for just once, and kept pointing her hand on the walls for terms and condition policies and falling in to arguments instead of evaluating the problem. Giving us examples of Walmart and other businesses of their return policies which were not even the point. I wonder how this rude manager is still working at this location. She is a good fit for a security guard at any prison but not for the position of solution manager at Verizon. I guess, people in this business need to be more educated and learn how to treat customers.

Stopped by, waited until they opened. Was told that my new phone just needs the so. Swapped into it. Get home, I cant text ! I felt I wasnt properly cared for as a customer that pays $300/mo for this service. I had to get Verizon help over the phone, guess what it sends you a text....ugh. 2.5 hours on the phone with a tech that kept trying to sell me protection services for other devices....after he finally gave up, the 2nd level support fixed it in 5 minutes. Go elsewhere! This store has poor customer service all the way around. They failed to explain their service and sales packages, costing me money. Their rate and service information sheets were out-of-date. After the fact, I found that Verizon offers a veterans discount, something that was not offered to me, despite mentioning that I had served in the Navy for 25 years. Waiting times were intolerable. Where else does one have to go to pay out lots of money and have to wait to do so? I have been a Verizon customer for years. Today this store told me multiple times that my service contract was deceptive and that I pay state tax, Santa Fe tax, and Bernalillo taxes on my bill, as well as that their advertising for unlimited service is deceptive. And that my phone I purchased from them for @ $1000 is not worth $100 and its not paid off yet. Very dissatisfied with Verizon and this Verizon store. And no upgrade. They have changed my contract without disclosure and again I was advised by their staff that was deceptive as well. I lost count how their answer to all my questions was that things are deceptive. Deceptive...their employees term, not mine. So BUYER BEWARE!!!

Went in here because my Apple Watch failed. The manager Ever was the one who really helped me and was able to get me into a series 5 watch and mind you the store was closing in less then 45 minutes. So he took the time to actually pair a phone to my watch to get me set up to the network due to me waiting for my phone from fedex all I have is the watch. I just switched over to Verizon after being with AT&T for 8 years. The store is extremely busy. I was however, pleasantly surprised by Jeremiah!I want Jeremiah to know that he is truly exceptional. My family and I appreciate his hard work. This is the best Verizon store to go to in Santa Fe because its a Verizon Business Store. That means they have, give or take 10 employees working at one time. They have everything you need in stock at this location. They majority of these employees are very knowledgeable about all the phones, pay plans, insurance, equipment, accessories, etc. I have had differences with the managers but they seem to get things settled for the most part.

Verizon is the only choice if you need excellent cell coverage in NNM. My wife wanted to check out some phones in person before she pulled the trigger on something new. We were treated very well and the sales folks were very patient with both her and I as she looked at ALL her options. We spent well over an hour in the shop right up until closing and the sales guy still gave us all his attention. The wife walked out with a Samsung S10 and is delighted with it after being an iPhone user since 2007. Thank you!

Terrible. Its a phone company right? Then why cant I reach a human by phone? I just spent an hour trying to ask 1-2 simple questions. I dialed the 800 number, my local store and 611. Went through the same automated hell on each of them. My local store says I can make an appointment by phone rather than waiting an hour or more in the store. Catch is...yeah...phone. I am looking to change my service to T Mobile or Sprint or another that is offering a free iPhone 7 and a cheaper plan to new customers. Verizon is doing the same but NOT for current customers. Without question, this Verizon store is the worst of any I have encountered. Slow does not begin to describe the service. They have no concept of the customer being right. They have no idea how to run a store. In Santa Monica, CA, NYC, Portland, ME, and Boston, MA, stores move people quickly, and they have ways to steer customers who come in to purchase a protective case, for example, through at a faster pace. Instead purchasers other equipment in Santa Fe must wait in the same cue as those purchasing phones (and we know how long that takes), when someone who just wants to buy a speaker for example has to wait. Nine times out of ten you can get decent service. Do your research before you go in else you might be sold the wrong item (they dont know the products as well as they should). And do NOT call. You will not get the store but a national call center that cannot answer simple questions. The call center folks are lovely but you should be able to contact the store itself. We walked in and there was someone leaning on the desk near the door. I went to a display to wait to be greeted only to notice that person leaning was actually an employee. I notoced he checked in 3-4 people that came in aftwr me. I decided to leave and as I was walking out he decided to greet me and offer to sign me up and it would only be about a 20 minute wait. I left since he couldnt bother to stand or greet people coming in and my wait was extended due others being greeted and signed in before me. I bought iphone xs Max, apple watch and AirPods from Verizon shop located on Zafarano. First of all, when I was buying the devices I was told clearly that you can replace the product within 14 days if you don’t like them. Well, I started using my devices. After 2 days I found the apple watch screen was flickering and got stuck. I went to the store to talk about this issue since I was told that if you don’t like it you can always replace it within 14 days. I asked if I can replace it they told me you have to pay the extra charge to get it replaced it and for that you have to replicate the issue infront of us. I was shocked to hear the new information well I requested to talk to the manager. Melissa Pino who is a solution manager there came and I explained her the issue. Instead of listening what my issue was she started shouting at me and pointing her fingers with her full force that look at here and there in our shop we have this policy and it was your responsibility to read it. She started giving me examples of walmart and other stores about their return policy. I told her that I understand what you are saying but why I was given half information which I would consider a wrong information. I mean if it was my responsibility to read your advertising boards in the shop so why did you guys appointed a person to help me I could have bought it online without any assistance. She raised her voice and said I cannot help you is there anything I can help you with and are we done. She behaved so rude and she was not in her sense what she was saying. She didn’t check the watch and acted so unprofessionally like a monster manager. I would recommend her to work in some prison as a gate keeper. She doesn’t know how to talk to the customers.

Great selection of electronics, plus if they dont have what you want they have even more they can order from online or get from other Verizon stores in the state, which takes the leg work out of it for you. Items ordered from online or other stores come in pretty quickly. (Unless its on back order online n all of the stores near by are out of the item as well) Ive only ever ran into one customer service rep assisting us that was not pleasant, but another rep over heard me and my father talking to each about the guy being very rude, deciding if we should just leave or not (when the rep rudely walked away from us in the middle of asking a question) anyway the rep that over heard us, came to our aid and helped us the rest of our visit in the store. Which I appreciate that much better than if the rep would of just confronted the rude rep and advice him to be less rude. That would of made things awkward for us. So Im glad that didnt happen. (Has happened in other stores) but other than that 1 incident I have never had an issue here. Getting 5 stars for the way my 1 bad incident was handled.

This is the worst location ive ever been to! Went in to just upgrade my phone, before i was even helped i could hear a slim gentleman giving a talk track to the sales rep on what items he could slam down my throat. Then when i was finally helped i explained to the rep which phone i wanted and color and size. His manager i assume was hovering obnoxiously around us while the rep kept driving products down my throat. After explaining the phone i wanted he walked off the manager followed and they came back out and tried to slam another product down my throat then insisted i needed insurance and basically guilt tripped me into siging up for unwanted products. Dont buy into their amazing hum product or tablets as it was all to relevant the manager was trying to manipulate the rep into selling me stuff i didnt need. I just wanted my phone nothing else it shouldnt be this difficult to buy something! The rep was really rude when asked if he could assist in setting up my phone and would not make eye contact with me. He was condescending and super rude. The manager still hovering around with a look of discontent because i did not buy into their dumb product pitches!

I have been in this store 4 times in the last month, for different things, including service for my phone, service for my broadband, buying a new iphone, & buying a new ipad3. Every time Ive walked into this store I have been treated with respect. They have been quick & efficient. I have been more than satisfied with how the employees & management in this store have treated me, especially Gerald. Thanks guys, great work!

I arrived here when there was about 3 people being helped I decided to wait . 7 new people walk in later and are helped before me. If I didnt need my phone fixed I would have left. Longest wait ever. And was rudely talked by the one who greets

Verizon customer service culture is consistently experienced as a form of vampirism draining the life force right out. Hours spent being transferred and passed to different departments, both in store and online, and Im still in the same place I was before I started. Worse for the wear and agitated, not looking forward to more life force vampirism. Not an isolated incident.

Went in yesterday to activate my upgraded phone that I had got in the mail. I waited about an hour and when I finally got helped they had ended up taken me off my account so that I was not able to active my phone and my old phone was no longer in use they told me that there was nothing they could do. Thank u Verizon now I dont have a phone at all

I had warnings not to go in to the store, but the Verizon reps I talked to on the phone told me it was just a matter of picking up a free SIM card at the store, so I figured, how bad could it be. I wish I hadnt wasted my time. The manager, William, told me Id been given bad information. Plus some other excuses/explanations about not just giving out Verizon stuff so its out there .... ? What exactly am I going to do with my Verizon SIM card besides put it in a phone and use it with Verizon service? So, I go out to the car and call Verizon. No, they said, a SIM card is free, he probably wants your activation fee, which we dont charge if you do it over the phone. So now I have to do it over the phone and wait for them to send me a SIM card through the mail. Funny, youd think the manager would get it that if they didnt have terrible customer service more people would come into the store, and even if hes giving away the (supposed-to-be-free-anyway) SIM cards, hed get more business. Personally, I was planning to buy some accessories at the store at the same time, but I left wihout buying anything and will get what I need on Amazon instead.The thing I cant undestand is why the Verizon powers that be allow this store to operate with such terrible service reviews. Someone told me that this store was a franchise, not a corporate store; but the woman I talked to when I left said it is, in fact, a corporate store. She herself was surprised at the bad information the general manager gave me.

This is a god place to go if you dont have enough frustration and incompetence in your life. Not only is Verizons cell service here in Santa Fe worthless, as in 1 bar coverage on average, they have poorly trained support personnel. Verizon 800 service directs you to go to the local store and they say they cant help you with your issue. And it goes around and around

After having a horrible experience at this store, I looked up the reviews. Wow! I am not the only one who had a bad experience! We were returning a new phone within the 14-day purchase policy & they found a dent that did not occur while it was in our hands because the phone worked for only 2 days before it locked up. Verizon online has always been very helpful so we order our phones from them. We called Verizon online about the problems we were experiencing & they couldnt fix it so they told us to return it at the local store. Well, this store would take it back & charge us $350 on top of paying for a new one. What a deal! We will never go back to this store! Very rude customer service people! Gotta call Verizon online to tell them the experience we had. And this is the second time we have problems. Last phone we bought here, the tech/salesperson did not do what he said he would do for us when we switched our landline from Century Link to Verizon. Should have learned the first time!Dont they read customers reviews so change to they have a better store???

FIND ANOTHER VERIZON! This store has the worst customer service I have ever seen. The managers are extremely rude, and offer no help. I was in the store for my appointment that I had to set up due the extended wait time. I was told I could not set an appointment while in the store and had to leave then call them.I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS STORE TO ANYONE!

Amazing customer service skills and knowledge.Yes Verizon is expensive, and yes the service has been subpar in Santa Fe, but our city different doesnt really allow cell phone providers to just add towers anywhere, so all carriers have spotty service.

The thing people most really know is... Neither Verizon, Sprint, nor T-Mobile make the cell phones customers complain about. I worked from T-Mobile doing tech, and heard multiple times, Im going to cancel my service because you guys keep giving me bad phones! Not only do they not make them, they take a loss. Each exchange or call into the tech center or store costs them on average, several months of profit out of your phone bill. Do you know why they have contracts? Because they give discounts on phones out of their own pocket and need to recoup their money, they do not get discounts from Samsung, Sanyo, Apple, etc. On average it takes a year of phone payments to turn a profit on a customer. If they have to exchange a phone for you.... a year and 3 months.If your going to complain saying yeah right, do some research because believe me, I still have a hard time believing they dont give them discounts..It doesnt make sense but its true. So the next time you want to cancel your service over a bad phone and make the claim they are screwing you, just remember they are the ones getting screwed in the end. Verizon is a phone service, not the manufacturer of your cell phone.

Be prepared to wait and then have questionable service. My first trip in I waited 15 mins or so, talked with a rep, and settled on a phone. It was not in stock but I was told I could get one online. But no, it was not available online, so that trip was a waste of time. Trip two, 20 min wait. I had ordered a phone from Amazon, which was unlocked and supposed to work with Verizon, and I needed to get it activated. A SIM was installed by Taylor but she could not activate the phone. That was bad enough, but somehow when I got home, my other phone didnt work and I had to go thru a long chat session with Verizon to get that one working again. So, 2+ hrs wasted, no phone, and back to sq one.
