Was told to go pay for 5 gallons before my tank was even filled. Normally places weigh before and after for propane fills. Will not recommend dishonest businesses like this. The employee was rude before I even stepped out of my truck, yelling at me to park further away. Then I was told good luck finding anywhere else in town to fill. This is not the way a customer should be treated.
I use two rv propane tanks and have been consistently getting the same two tanks filled about once a week. Rarely do i completely empty them but get them topped off instead. the have been adding 3.5-4.5 gallons each time they get filled.I recently got to Santa Fe and brought the tanks in to Ferrellgas to get filled (3/11/21). One was about 95% empty and the other was 60-70% empty. The filling station attendant directed me t tell the cashier it was 10 gallons before he even touched the tanks. He didnt even pick them up to verify if they were empty or not. I reluctantly went in and paid for 10 gallons. I returned to pick up my tanks and asked the attendant how much it actually took to fill them. I knew it should have only been about 7-7.5 gallons. He proceeded to tell me I was wrong and that they took exactly 10 gallons. I let him know that i have filled the exact same tanks weekly for years and I know that wasnt possible. He asked where I have been filling up, I responded saying I just moved from Arizona. He responded with Go back to Arizona.I wasnt rude or upset even though I knew I was getting scammed. I was only looking for a straight answer. This Place should be avoided at all costs, especially if you are not a local.
Rip! OFF! The dock guy told me to go tell the office 5 gallons when they never take more than four & a half. $18.70 for BBQ tank? I didnt exist to the woman in the office. Eff them-never again.
So far, so good. I was able to speak to someone every time I called, the man who came to check the system (Mike) was polite and responsive, the propane was delivered within the time frame I was told about and everyone Ive spoken to has been helpful. Im giving them 5 for now and hope my service continues to be as good as it has been. And no, I dont work for Ferrellgas. :)
Terrible service, they do not answer their phones in the local office. Phones roll over to another support site across the country. About a dozen times now I have been told a local manager will call me back, has never happened. Delivery service is just as bad. Im cancelling my service with Farrellgas, If I can ever get someone to answer their phone. I do not recommend this propane company to anyone.
The grouchy tank refilll guy at Ferrellgas told me to tell the cashier to charge me for 5 gallons even before I set the tank down. I went to TSC instead; the tank already had almost 2 gallons still in it, and TSC only charged me to fill the remainder. Shame on Ferrellgas.
Alert!! For DECADES now I have used Ferrellgas. Always a fill up, and paid in full promptly. On 11-30-20 ordered a fill up, and was told delivery would be 1-7 days by Debbie in Grand Junction. Unusual, since it is usually 1-3 days, but thought because of Covid maybe their supply was affected . On 12-7-20 still no propane! Called and was told by Kim in Arizona that she would call Dispatch/ Logistics Supervisor; and would call me back.No call back, no propane so I called again and was told by Katie in Arizona she would look into it. U guessed it! No call back, no propane! On 12-8-20 went to the Santa Fe Office and was told by,front desk person, think her name was Angela (sp) that delivery was scheduled for today.Delivered late today. Thank you.12-9-20 Spoke to Desiree, in Kingman, Az. Professional, pleasant, and appears responsive. Billing was incorrect. Said takes about 2 weeks for Corporate to correct. Should receive bill within that time frame. Important that it was delivered because obviously no heat and frozen pipes would have made for a dreadful situation.
This year due to covid, I was late on 120$ bill for tank rental. I began receiving rude, harassing letters about the past due balance. Soon a tank driver came for payment which he got..... Thennnn they came for the tank a few days later. Thankfully my home is now fully electric, however... Its interesting that they dont care to serve their customers. After reading reviews its obvious that the front desk lady is a Twattwaffle, and the company as a whole is in shambles.Sick, heartless, RUDE company...Go elsewhere!!!#AMERIGAS
Lady in office rude as hell never go here again plus high price for propain
Ferrell Gas is refusing to take responsibility for $6000.00 of damage caused by their driver.
Highest propane prices in town by as much as an extra $1.00 per gallon.Pecos Propane $2.25, S.F. Propane $2.35 per, Ferrallgas $3.25 !!!!!!!!!
This is the second time now that Ferrell Gas has left us with no propane - the last time was this winter. They dont seem to care so we are changing companies after nearly 20 year with Ferrell. They used to be reliable but they are no longer a reliable service.
We have had great service, prompt delivery...and have been part of a neighborhood collective that gives us the best rate in Santa Fe for propane. Staff is always polite and efficient over the phone, using our credit card, which is how we order our deliveries. The negative comments here have NEVER been expressed nor bad service been experienced by us! Satisfied customers for almost ten years now.
Ferrellgas is dedicated to providing great customer service and every time we need gas we call in advance. Thanks for everything you do keep up the great work!
Ferrellgas service is excellent. We just had a tank installed, the process was thorough and efficient.
Service and responsiveness is excellent. Overall, everyone we have spoken to at Ferrellgas has been Rock Stars and ready to help when asked.
This company is a joke. They really need to learn how to do business. No wonder so many bad reviews
Ineffecient and archaic. Hard to understand when you can track a package across the world in minute detail. But ferrellgas cant tell you when you are receiving a gas delivery to heat your home. Your system doesnt work guys. Update your system. You want to make more money? Become more efficient.
This company needs help. They have given me nothing but trouble. I called to place a delivery and left my check under the mat like I ALWAYS do. This time the driver decided to look only under the lid of the propane tank and left without completing the order. I call back the next day and tell the lady the check is under the mat, so she makes note of it. Again, they come and say there is no check!! What is wrong with these people? Now they are forcing me to prepay and want my checking information. Ha, ya right! They will probably take more than they say!
Ferrell Gas knows they have a monopoly on this market. You lease a tank from them, it is illegal for competing propane tanks to fill it. So, you are stuck with Ferrell Gas as long as you have their tank in your ground. Their rates are 30% higher than Adobe Gas (which is AmeriGas) and Santa Fe Propane. When I politely asked the front desk lady why their rates were so much higher her reply as we are a much larger company than those companies so our costs are higher. We have more employees and we have to pay their benefits... Weird, youd think a larger company in this market would have more buying leverage and could pass those savings on to their loyal customers. So buyer beware. Front desk is inconsistent - sometimes rude other times not so much.
Have had great service and friendly interactions with staff. Yolanda was very professional and answered all my questions. And they are locally managed and contribute to the community.
There is a lot of enmity happening right now. I returned from Christmas travels. It’s currently 10pm on Saturday, December 29th and my gas tank is reading zero. Like, zero, the number it’s not supposed to read.Temperatures are also forecast to waver between -15 and 15 degrees tonight. They will meander up to a generously whimsical high of 31 tomorrow. A cold snap. And tomorrow, Sunday, is the last day before another snow storm moves in to dump on us.Now, silly me. For sure, I goofed. I should always be monitoring the tank. But in my defense, I assumed that because I was on your monitor and refill program and because I opened a line of credit with you and because I typically pay you exorbitant prices for propane.... I assumed that you were monitoring and refilling!!!!!!!Now my boiler has a fault. The tank is empty, empty. My bedroom is 47* and dropping. I have spent time searching through my email, wondering if I missed some communication.Tomorrow is Sunday. Monday is New Year’s Eve. Tuesday is New Year’s Day. Wednesday is the first day I suppose your lackluster employees will drag themselves into work.Note that on that day, I plan to strangle someone like a vengeful, lethargic python as soon as feeling returns to my cold, cold extremities. Or scream like you have never heard an irate customer scream. And boy howdy, wait until you hear what I will have stored up for you over the next four, glacial days.I will say- you are lucky I’m not am not elderly. You’re lucky I’m not insanely cold yet. You’re lucky that I am adept at building fires. You’re lucky I am not feeling litigious yet. You should feel lucky that I am currently thinking that I will extend you the opportunity to make this right. And, damn, that feels magnanimous right now.Next week you will not feel lucky. I may mount a campaign of vitriol like you haven’t seen. I will likely have moved in with friends, and be searching the sad remains of your Santa Fe store for fuel for my Zozobra-sized bonfire necessary to keep myself warm. I will have purchased ice picks (to get into my frozen house), lighter fluid to ignite the winter solstice version of Zozobra, and a very large down comforter... and will be sending you the receipts.Your frozen hearts, negligence, and lack of communication have truly motivated me to go to the dark side. God have mercy on what is left of your propane-selling souls because I hear hell has an opening and I hear it is warm.
Stopped in at 11:40 am to get an RV propane tank certified and filled. Girl at desk acted like I was bothering her. Said the guy that does this is out until 12:30. Then some guy in the office said yeh. Im out until 12:30 then he laughs and leaves. Well, we didnt go Back. I think its time for a couple of new employees.
CONSUMER ALERT:So my mother who is elderly stopped by to refill her propane tank for her BBQ pit. This evening as I removied it from her vehicle I noticed that the tank felt light. After placing a propane gauge on the tank, I noticed that he only filled it less than 3/4. She was charged of course for a full tank fill. The interesting part of is that after this jerk filled the tank he sat on his hands while she struggled to pick it up. After watching her struggle with amusement for a few seconds, a gentleman who had been driving by on the street noticed this and pulled in stopped his vehicle and got out to help. Not only was my mother treated rudely, and completely disrespected and she was ripped off. Think about this next time you have a family member that considers doing business with these clowns.
Guy who fills the tank isnt too friendly..Customer service is non existant woman at desk is ok, but tons and tons of paperwork just to fill a 30 lb tank. Kind of like buying propane in east Berlin prior to the collapse of the wall.
Im amazed they let this guy drive a truck....drove in my front gate, right past my house, out my back gate....and off into the neighborhood driving around randomly...then when i go get him he says, well i dont know where you live like its MY fault!....then why are you driving this truck? moron!
Carlos, the driver, is very patient with our difficult driveway and access--excellent driver!
Always timely reliable service.
Filled our camper van. No problem.
Website says closes at 5pm showed up at 430 wasnt even acknowledged. Got a curious look from some douche in a mask from inside the office which was locked. Not dealing with this business anymore.
Very bad company go to amerigas
They took my tank with 50% still inside for no apparent reason other than I havent needed a refill in a year. They were kind enough to return it with no charge a few days later.
This place has poor service and it seems like it was my fault that they couldnt fill my tanks at 4:20 when they are open till 4:30...
Fast, efficient, friendly, thank you
Had to file a credit card charge back to recover money from these con artist
Friendly staff
Bad service, the calls are very rare that they answer you are paying for a service and does not provide it, they put red cards and they do not tell you the reason, a month ago I reported that there was a leak supposedly the checked and that it was resolved, I leave Outside and when I return I no longer have gas.
