Fresh, high quality, grass fed-grass finished meats. I went during covid when they have a reduced menu and was blown away by their burger. It’s fulfilling without leaving you feeling guilty or weighted down. (Fellow burger eaters you know what I’m talking about) Also, a great meat market offering farm fresh meats. I definitely recommend this place!

Equally delicious and fulfilling. Their ketchup is homemade and heavenly. We opted for regular fries, amazing.Priced higher than normal plates around this city, but you’re paying for top quality and ethically raised meat.Butcher shop out front, mesmerizing to look at the various cuts. You can also get bone broth here, frozen too.

Felt like I was in an episode of Curb. Waited on line, was next and then a take out order came thru. They said “one minute”. I said OK, thinking it’s a simple hand bag hand over. Turns out, there was additional orders on top. Said to myself, keep it classy, keep it cool. And then... the small talk, “what’s it like out there?” That was it, I’m out. Long story, long, these guys don’t respect the “one minute” nor line etiquette. What a world, where you can push ahead, disguise it as a simple pick up, and then order more. If Larry David had a reality TV show where he went around fixing etiquette issues, this would be episode 1 season 1. Tough pill to swallow, heard it was a great place.

Obsessed with everything they serve here! Stop to get a cup of bone broth post workout or eat a super packed kale salad. I would recommend the tartare or deviled eggs to start. The keto lamb burger is fabulous. The crispy broccolini are amazing. End with the bread pudding (if you have room). They have valet parking in the back (cash only) but street parking isn’t too hard to come by.

Excellent.staff, service. Theyre really nice people here.The quality of the meat and the bone broth is really higher than anywhere else. I get grass-fed at Costco and this is another level up from that. I can taste it and not just work from reports. The reports do say that this is better or healthier or better quality.Beyond that, ia.my experience. Even the fat tastes better.

I used to eat at Belcampos lunch counter at Grand Central Market, and was usually really happy with their food. But the two times I ordered takeout from the Santa Monica location, I was disappointed. Their lamb burger was dry, and the ingredients didnt really mesh well. It just tasted like a few things stacked together without marrying. The animal fat fries (a former favorite from the GCM location) were relatively flavorless, and lacked crunch.The second time I went, the burger was cooked medium well. There was barely a trace of pink, and like the lamb burger, it was just dry. Why would they not cook a beautiful thick patty like that medium rare? The delicate butter lettuce on it had wilted to a slimy skin. Thankfully, my girlfriend had taken the lettuce off of hers, so I stole that to make mine more edible. I picked up the food as soon as it was ready -- its not like it had been sitting for an hour.They raise their own meat, and in the past, they cooked it to honor the animals they lovingly raised, and that came through in the taste. Not so in my experiences at this location. I dont pay $20 for a burger to not even be able to eat half of it because its so unsavory and dry.

Grass fed and finished beef from their own Northern California ranch, they say. Great service. Cheerful and helpful. I needed knuckle bones for bone broth and got two beautiful pieces. $10 +- per pound.

Its okay here. The burger is pretty decent. But why $18? Sorry but its not justified. I felt gauged, if not robbed in broad daylight. The bone broths were very flavorful, strong smell of the bone and meat. But again, why $$$? It doesnt have to be cheap, but reasonable. Not everyone is a multibillionaire. I still tipped the poor workers here, even though they messed up my order. Forgiveness is good for my blood pressure. Anyways, they apologized. Regardless, I feel like I spent all my money in one place...

They are absolutely lovely and their food is gorgeous. Cant wait to frequent them when were not in pandemic conditions. They may need to more carefully monitor # of folks coming in, because customers arent generally negotiating thre space as well as they should. I will still go back tho. Worth some moments of highest caution.

I love Belcampo. Their burgers are the second to none. I love that they own their own farm and that it’s regenerative. And their Italian sausage is the best and if you’re in the no-packaging mindset you can pick it up from the butcher shop!

Try their own app for ordering. Its very convenient. I recommend the burger kit, the steak kit and the six party burgers. Ive also tried the immunity broth with the garlic sauce. Definitely hit the spot during this cold season.

Burgers are good, the beef fat fries are a little much. I would share an order of fries. 2 burgers, order of fries and two cokes equals 49 bucks. So bring money, but also know you are paying for freshness.

UPDATE: I contacted restaurant about this and they were very apologetic. Hope this doesn’t happen again because it’s very scary!I ordered a burger from them via Uber Eats and chewed on a piece of broken glass! Was half way through my burger when I felt something hard in my mouth. I thought it might have been a bone fragment but after I spit it out, it was a big piece of broken glass! This is very dangerous. I hope I didn’t eat smaller broke glass fragments already!

I visited this place last week, and I think it was one of the best food I have ever had in LA. Their Aged burger was amazing, Medium cook, so tasty and the fries and mayo beside that even was special. They have great local beer collection. I will try this place everytime I visit LA for sure

The food that was delivered was inedible. I would give a 0 star but its not an option. Burger was overcooked and tasted like leather. and cost $21 The steak was similar. I will never order or go to this place again even after covid. Dont waste your money. Go to in-n-out, its much better.

WOW. So excited for this place. Bf picked up some meats for us to have raclette one night, came back with some of the best prosciutto, sausage, pork and beef ever! So glad this place is so close to us and i cant wait to go again. They were helpful and very kind.

Weve visited twice now. I would recommend the cocktails- they know what theyre doing. Interesting twists to some classics. The food is meat centric and good. Also it is a very clean restaurant for LA which makes you wonder about the other restaurants out there.

Wow is all I can say. This is a delicious meat centric restaurant in the heart of Santa Monica. While most of their dishes are creative, I’m a HUGE fan of the burger. It is truly superb. This is not a place to miss out on.

Love this place! Doesnt look like much from the outside, but once inside its lovely! Awesome menu, fresh, tasty and well seasoned plates. Side notes - do not try Ramos cereal milk cocktail unless you love citrus forward! Avocado toast was excellent!!

The food is outstanding. Great broth, good carpaccio, fillet mignon and vegetables were cooked to perfection. The wine I ordered was very good. The service is fast and attentive not pushy. expensive, not for everyday. (the prints on the wall are not the best)

It took an hour for our food. Wife waited 15 minutes for a refill. There was only 3 tables to serve so I dont know what took so long. The steak and the eggs ordered were both overdone. The appetizer came with the dinner not before. The kids had to wait for their food after they served ours. The fries were old. I had to ask for the check twice. Do not recommend at all! 100 dollars not well spent..

The atmosphere in the dining room is great and our server did a perfect job. However, the three bone-in ribeye that we ordered medium rare came out medium. Besides that, our group thought that the flavor of the steak is not competitive with those of other more dedicated Steakhouses like Wolfgang’s.

A hidden gem on the weekday! Very knowledgeable mixologists. We only ordered drinks and pickled veggies as a small side-dish. Best pickled veggies I’ve ever had, my favorite was the pickled grapes! What?! Exactly! Mind blowing 🤯

Seriously the best chicken sandwich Ive ever had for lunch! The burgers that the others had were perfectly cooked. Great beer selection, great atmosphere and fantastic service. Would definitely come again - trying to figure out if we can sort out dinner before we leave LA!

This is a very unique setup. Apparently they raise animals organically and then process and serve the food here. The key burger is the best Ive ever had. The French fries are unbelievable and cooked in rice bran oil. The beef jerky is apparently a hit or miss. Two were bought, but one we moldy, and not dated. I propose a time control be placed on this product.

Its a bit pricey, but high quality is always pricey and I really cant put a price on my health. Very, very, very highly recommended. The restaurant is amazing, the service was superb and the food was 10/10 extremely satisfied.

No free restaurant parking. You cannot park your own car in the empty parking lot in back. You must Valet your car in front on Wilshire Blvd. If you park in back and go into the restaurant to pay 60 plus dollars per person to eat small portions they will tow your car away. Among other items, I ordered the $27 squash ravioli and got 5 or 6 tiny squares, no side dish. Very loud clapping, drunk people at the bar when we were there, yes clapping every few minutes like an AA meeting but at a bar. Bottles stacked to the roof, earthquake ready. My wife however loved her Burger and salad. If they allowed customers to park that would be a good start.

Came here on a Saturday because Huckleberry was too busy. What a pleasant surprise, glad our plans got diverted. Food comes in big portions and service is friendly.

Had lunch here during the week. Really nice and cozy space. Was not crowdy so it was nice. Cheeseburger was really good and so was the banana cream dessert. I would come here again.

Switching from bland probably dyed where did it come from grossery meat to locally sourced specially butchered butcher meat will change your life. I been buying locally sourced meat for years now and Belcampo holds a special place in my heart. The staff are incredibly nice and helpful and the selection and quality of meat is unparalleled. I cant recommend their butcher shop enough. Seriously go and you will definitely not regret it. They also have a killer steak house restaurant in the back with alchohalic soda that will blow your mind.

Service excellent, food very good, the Bloody Mary was amazing and ambience great. A little known place that everyone should know about. Can’t imagine not going back weekly!

We were looking forward to visiting Belcampo, but have been disappointed. Although the meat was pretty good, but French fries looked and tasted like they were yesterdays fries fried again and served. There could be more effort in their signature burger presentation. Mai Tai was more like Mojito. Maybe it was not a good idea to visit it on Monday....

I seriously hesitate to write this review because this spot will soon become a tough table to get. This establishment serves one of the very, very best burgers I’ve ever tasted, and that’s saying something. The large room manages to be both comfortable and unpretentious with a great bar and some of the best restaurant lighting. Or maybe it’s because of the great lighting from the very well stocked bar. In any case, when I allow myself to indulge a craving for a burger (and really good fries), we head over to Belcampo. Service is consistently solid and friendly. But please don’t tell anyone....UPDATE: They changed the menu - not for the better. The burger was on the pricy side, but fair considering the quality of the meat. Now the fries are an added cost. Really!!?? I hate being nickled and dimed.

I dont know how someone thought bacon was a good thing to put in a ceaser salad, it wasnt bad but I probably wouldnt order it again.

The ambiance was nice all the services were great but the steak was inedible full of gristle couldnt even cut through it and when you chew it wont break either. They should not serve such poor quality meat.

The Dine LA menu is very disappointing! If you had never eaten here before (we had) I doubt you would come back! The Steak Frites was terrible! Tough and gristle-y steak. Good flavor but aweful texture. We commented to all staff but it made no difference. Desserts were no good.We will be back, but they have to be careful with the food they put out!!

I was extremely dissatisfied with the hamburger I ordered at belcampo. The meat was tasteless and the fries were greasy. In order ti even taste the meat, I had to a considerable amount of salt. There was not char on the meat, and really bacd. I also ordered the sweet chili wings which although tasty as for the covered sauce, the wings had very little meat. For the price you pay for this burger, definitely a thumbs down

Ahmaahzing. Nicholas MADE our experience. The prefixed menu was a good choice, it wasn’t toooo much food. I had the kale salad, chicken and bread pudding. I tried all the desserts :) . I drank a ginger pomegranate non-alcoholic elixir that I can recommend. Evidently (love using the word evidently) they have tons of juices: cherry, pineapple, ginger, lemon, and lime. The lamb burger was a crowd pleaser. I enjoyed the pea purée with the chicken and the carrots were spectacular. The NY strip (I think that was the cut) is probably the thing to get if you want some red meat. The mashed potatoes were perfect.
