My favorite is the meat department where every single person is always eager to help you! What truly makes this meat department distinct is its very own dry-aged meat cooler which you can see through the display window!! Even if youre not buying anything come down to see what a real meat department looks like with REAL LIFE BUTCHERS!!!!

Great place! I have purchased items there that I never even had heard of, and now cant live without. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Bring your cash, credit cards, anything of value. These stores are worth it. Buy anything they make themselves.

There was about 500- 600 lbs of coffee beans donated to Hope on Union Food Bank where Anyone can volunteer to help out on Thursday mornings. Unfortunately the food recipients cant afford coffee grinders so it has been stored there for months.My friend, Stevan Hill offered to help get the coffee ground up. He has been able to get Bristol Farms Market on Wilshire Blvd in Santa Monica to grind and bag ALL of it!!😊🥳!!!Having been turned down by another well known coffee shop, I am VERY THANKFUL to Jeff the General Manager for donating their labor to make it happen!

Stopped by to see what kind of cakes they have for my sons birthday. Specifically was looking for a tart cake. And they have one!I loved tha fact that they sell these bite sized cakes. I was able to buy a few of them and taste the cake before purchasing them.The store was super clean and organized. The staff was great.Parking is in the rear of the building!

Pricey but high quality supermarket. Very good poke bar, now self serve again post pandemic. The salad bar has also reopened but had a limited selection of toppings when I was there on a Sunday evening. The cheese selection is very good and they have dry aged steaks, all for those with discerning taste and full wallets. Im cheap by nature so I dont come for routine shopping, but I do come for quality ingredients and special occasions.

Average food at outrageous prices. $5.50 for a small pack of Persian cucumbers (not organic). $50/lb scallops. Even packaged products available elsewhere are higher. Just dont bother.

Great quality, best cookies ever.. but the customer service today was terrible and that’s not acceptable.The woman bagging groceries at register 4 with the blue mask, who’s also texting and being rude to customers, needs an attitude adjustment. I found myself fighting to get a bag, and she’s a shift supervisor!Put your phone down and be helpful, or just get out of the way.I can get my own bag.You’re mean and you should be fired.Never had a bad experience there before.I hope this is addressed.

Bristol farms meats are exceptional. I came here for lunch and had the beef brisket and came back a few days later and had the dinner plate of it. So good and well done. Brisket needs to be smoked right and Bristol farms accomplishes that. Great price too for the quality. Very happy!

Everyone is always smiling. Cashiers always ask if we found everything we needed. People working out on the floor are always knowledgeable if the whole store not just where they are. The produce is always fresh and prices through the whole store are better than their competition. And the store us always so clean!

My family and I have been going to this particular Bristol Farms every Saturday for the past six months since Covid started. The service and food here have been outstanding. We have been particularly impressed by one of the employees, Christiann. He knows where everything is in the store, helps us find what we are looking for, etc and does so with the greatest enthusiasm, knowledge of the store, etc. Such a great employee in such a great store. Whoever manages this store is doing a great job!! Thank you

Good place to get prepared meal

First of all, Im a regular customer at this Bristol Farms and I always take my own grocery bags. Since I only get a few things I dont even get a plastic basket, instead I put everything in the bag. After I had gotten some things in my bag I went to the main entrance where they had NYEs stuff. I felt the presence of someone following me, but I didnt care, so I went to the line to pay. Out of nowhere, this guy (worker from the store who was the one in the main entrance) pats my back and says: Happy New Year and I answered Happy New Year, sir. I thought it was polite and weird at the same time. Then, I dont know if he felt me suspicious because of the face mask and my hat, but he was standing next to the register as if he was waiting for me to pay. When I was about to pay I asked the cashier to apply the UCLA discount for me and she asked me my last name, but next to her there was a floor manager who told her to ask me for ID and I told her that I had lost it and that I could show emails to prove it. (Schools and universities are closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic) and this is what I told the floor manager and he said: NO! But looking right next to me it was the other guy (the one who followed me and pats my back) standing close to the register, so I asked him: Are you the manager, sir? and he replied:yes, so I went to him since he was so polite to say Happy new year moments before. His name is Jeff. So, I explained the situation to him and he said very angry and rude: keep your receipt and when you have your ID I will give you a refund. I told him that was not going to happen in the near future and paid for my groceries and left. That is not professional coming from the store manager, a store where I do my groceries.

Exceptional!! Clean, fresh, but a little bit expensive, I am middle class, I couldnt buy there every week. Just once in a while.

I don’t shop here often because I find it too expensive, but they carry hard to find old fashioned kitchen staples like pectin (for jelly making) and Nabisco’s “Famous Chocolate Wafers,” which are a must ingredient when making icebox chocolate cake.

There has been a slow overall decline happening at this location for sometime. Pandemic times has exposed its flaws of inconsistency in food quality at the deli, slow service, and lack of availabity of items. Most things have remain the same, friendly and helpful employees; but the days of 5 Star, excellent product and superior service has become a blast from the past!

Great store! Amazing prepared foods, butcher and fishmonger, bakery and produce. Always has really fun, nice seasonal things, nice selection of serving and cooking items. It’s one of those stores that one rarely leaves with just what was on the grocery list.

The entire store was helping! An associate would approach you and ask if you need any help, especially if you looked confused! Or even puzzled, I usually don’t shop at this type of store so I was very impressed! Latrelle and Nillson helped me the most, they were beyond great.

I always shop at the Beverly Hills store but I came to Santa Monica and Christiaan was really helpful. This is a man of many talents! I have seen him do more than just help me pick my groceries and, he help me out as he knows a lot about what’s going inside the store and has great tips. Great! Very helpful and I was very surprised they had fresh turkey on hand. Most stores only have the cured turkey that is generally very heavily processed and loaded with salt. If you want the real deal and it looks like they have it on hand daily, Bristol Farms is where you want to go! Im very surprised and of course the sandwich is great. If you feel like fresh turkey, this totally beats Subway on any day.

The only place I go to buy the meat my husband eats. there is one or two male checkers that leave a lot to be desired theyre very rude and meanbut the rest of the people that work there are very very nice and helpful so if you can avoid those two guys at the checkout youre golden. the supermarket is a little pricier than the chains Ralphs Vons etc but it has much better quality vegetables fruit everything

This place is great for when Im in the mood to be a big spender. A slight cold today provided the perfect reason to splurge on some matzo ball soup, & it was well worth it. Im not aware of other stores that stock cold matzo ball soup. Well done, Bristol Farms!

A first-class Market all the way!

1st time sooooo impressed! Food selection was awesome. We stopped just for snacks for a road trip. Cheeses, cookie bar nothing like it I have ever seen coming from a small town. Cant wait to come back. Staff not as friendly as I am used to ...guess this is how they roll in the big city. Food and atmosphere ALMOST made up for it though

Good selection of foods for lunch! Of course this is also a food supermarket with produce and a very ample wine and liquor section.The lunch options are many and the service is quick so its a good place to go on your lunch break. My father in law also buys a number of their ready made items to take home for dinner.

Wonderful market with delicious food items . Prices on many products are too high. Take out items and salad bar is tasty. Nice clean, well organized displays of food. Bread dept needs more variety of wholesome breads.

This is a large market with a huge amount of choices. Everything from meat to salad and soup to nuts. They make their own soups and have a wonderful salad bar. Enjoy!

Of all the places Ive lived this is my favorite grocery store ever. The layout is great, selection is awesome, and the staff is amazing. Their promotions are always a lot of fun too. It is expensive but the quality of life upgrade you get here makes it worth it!

This place is super clean and well organized. The people working here are nice. Their cheese selection is proper and guess what... Sometimes they have free samples in there. This place is huge too, and the parking is ample and fair.

This store is right around the corner, but of course its completely worthless because if you want something simple like sugar, youll go down there and only find fair trade organic sugar processed by specially humanely trained monkeys of the Amazon at about a 5000 percent markup. Do yourself a favor and go to Vicente Foods or whole paycheck if youre going to spend this much.

Ive stopped by here mainly for the hot food. Their set up has a wide variety and is sure to satisfy your need for a quick bite. When I went they have salad options, soups, sushi and asian-type offerings like orange chicken and fried rice. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is even an outside patio if youd like to stop and eat there. Overall, its a good place to stop by for some quick and easy food to go.

Flies. Lots of flies in the produce section of the Santa Monica store every time I shop here. The gentleman working in produce explained it was because of all the organic fruit, but I also shop at nearby Whole Foods and Erewhon - both of which carry far more organic items - and have never seen anything close to the number of flies I routinely see at Bristol Farms. Other than that it’s a pretty good place.

This is the best grocery store in the westside. I have to drive to go there from the Palisades but its worth it. Better meats, better produce. Everyplace is expensive around here. Bristol is the best. Also no waiting at the checkout (EVER). Really friendly, can-do staff.

Beautiful place

Always top quality, no disappointment because they wont allow it. Today we had lovely ahi tuna steaks, fresher than can be expected. We had our Asian flank steak, and shrimp. All of it, excellent.

Great place for quality, fresh and organic produce. Their prepared food section offers lots of choices. The sandwich bar is great. Try the tri-tip sandwich, highly recommend!

I really like it here. But the food is not really good in the mornings. The soup and the breakfast are really bland. And its not really affordable for a college student but the market has a really nice meat department. I can find a lot of meat that i dont find at a good quality and price at other markets like Trader Joes and Whole Foods.

Bristol Farms never fails to everything that I am looking and some of most creative variations available. It is a joy to shop and discover new items yet untried.

Too bad there isnt more Bristol Farms. I love there daily specials. Came in for a BOGO deal on their organic eggs, superb meats, veggies, etc..

Busy place for lunch. I enjoy pieces of pizza, or sometimes a meal from the buffet. Meatloaf was good. Prices are high.

Pricey, selection equals that of traditional supermarkets but with a elegant facade. Staff is helpful and lines are quick. Starbucks inside is quick and friendly. Deli stuff is pre-made and reheated but put out as fresh. Fresh deli items can be found packaged throughout the store with an ingredient list full of chemicals and preservatives. Distributors of the items match that of Ralphs which you can buy for a 1/3 rd less.

Spendy, but lovely! Great bakery, perfect produce, an actual butcher... and cheese!! You will find things here you cant find elsewhere. The quality is unsurpassed, imho.

Lemme tell you something about Bristol. They got cake pops. Sometimes I get cake pops and cherries. Sometimes I get juice, sometimes I get chicken. But they got it all. What they dont have are hours. One time I went to get a pizza at 7:15 pm, what I thought to be a reasonable dinner time. These people had the audacity to tell me they werent making pizza because it was after hours. Talk about a let down. When youre expecting pizza, and you cant get it, thats the kind of night when you go home and become quite dissapointed. I didnt do that, but thats the type of night. In summary, great place that everyone should go to for all your artisanal desires, but they gotta get some hours!
