Sad. They almost have nothing left. They have been here my whole life and its sad to see them close. Last day I believe is Tuesday!!

This is a wonderful local art store. They have everything I might need and its especially convenient that it is in Montgomery village. Staff is helpful and professional.

Am Amazing Art Store! Has been around for ages and I am So Very Sad to see it closing. I have stopped there since I was little and I even bought my Art Supplies there when I went to College.

Nice and with a lot of products. Eventough, it has no order of the products. It is difficult to walk in there.

I love it! Sometimes I go when Im feeling down just to see all the creative activities that exist. I usually find one I want to do and buy what is needed if I dont have it. Also find gifts for my granddaughter who loves art.

Village Art is a magically fun place. As the photos show artistic personality runs through the store floor to ceiling.The staff is friendly and smiling. Very proactive and happy to assist.I love their craft section, its small but mighty, and the amazing handmade papers in the back.The photos I placed show the crazy beautiful floor in the back that leads to a water sound feature. This is an amazing local gem! Please go support this local story. Not just because its local, because its got a huge variety of art supplies spanning every project you can dream up. Drafting, frames, paper, paper, paper, airbrush, glue, kids supplies, Japanese traditional, clothing paints, pens, pencils, paint pens, I cant lost everything they packed in this small location. But I cant forget the staff, Uber knowledgeable, active artists that know what to steer you towards of you need a tip or suggestion.

You know it was good, they have a lot of stuff stuffed in to a little space. With a good selection of it all. Anything you need for your art and craft project. The ladys there were super eager to help. I got what I needed. And was satisfied when I left.

A great place to find your art supplies! Staff is very helpful and they actually know what theyre selling. Beside the more expensive art supplies they also offer less expensive brands which is a great choice if youre just starting out in the art world. Great section for kids. I love that they carry a good selection of the Leuchtturm journals.

Great store

I went to find paper that I could iron on to make my own graphic tees. I spoke to people over the phone and they said that they have it. I went there got what they said it was what I wanted. I asked them repeatedly if it was right and they kept reassuring me it was what I wanted. I then buy, keep in mind I can’t have a job because I’m underage so it’s a lot off money. I come home very excited to use it, and guess what! It’s not what I wanted. I go back and then they tell me that they don’t have it, because they sold the only three they bought. I was extremely upset. They gave me a refund, but I am very frustrated and upset. So it you buy from this place make sure to check it till you know it is correct.

If I were to be needing anything art related, to sketch, paint, fold, frame, sculpt, color, write or glue, I would go to Village Art Supply!Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff are there to give their educated advice. Fabulous service! We went in to have a very big frame custom made for a large print. When the price was more than we wanted to pay, the owner (Kristen) helped us figure out a solution that was more affordable for us!

When I was here yesterday, I knew what I wanted and the sales person was excellent at helping me find just the right items. I love this store! So many creative ideas come up when shopping here, I always leave wishing I had more time to entertain them all. As a result, I keep coming back -- whenever I can find a halfway-reasonable excuse to look for something they might have. Its one of the few places I can shop where, after I leave, I never feel like my time has been wasted.

This location has some of the most helpful staff. I was able to find a great notebook and pen for myself with the help of their staff. Parking in the area is easy and there is plenty of it. They have such a wonderful selection of items. Anything you cant find they would be happy to order.

This is a great art supplies store. Ive been shopping here for just over 20 years. They have a fantastic assortment of pens, pencils, paint and paper as well as many other items.

Great little neighborhood art store! My kids love this place, and they always have whatever we need. Plus the whole floor is elaborately decorated now which makes shopping quite an exciting adventure. :-)

Rude and condescending staff. There are better options for art suppliers, locally.Update 2020: I recently had to come back to this establishment and engaged with three different staff members; all of whom were very pleasant and helpful. Ultimately, they didnt have what I needed but the experience was very pleasant and a far cry from my previous visits. I have since revised my review to guve them 5 stars as the quality of recent service was fantastic.

I love supporting local businesses, but whats great about this local art supply store is that I can find custom made items for my clients, and my 3 daughters can find canvases, unique markers, custom framing and get organizing ideas for their rooms. Its also fun seeing how much more fun stuff the owners, Kristen & Zak, can compact into their little store too! Its refreshing knowing I can ask them anything since their both there every single day.

I guess the workers were trying to be nice and informative but we couldnt look at anything for long without someone coming up to us. When they talked to us it felt condescending since they kept asking us if weve ever used any of the items and if we knew what they were. Also felt like they thought we were going to steal, as they followed us a bit.

Great East SR art supplys. Tightly packed with all types of tools and stuff for your art needs. I think they even frame your work there. Good selection of supplies for the very young artist.

What a great and FUN little store! They had lots of options for art from cheap things to get you started all the way to really high end brushes and pens (Mont Blanc). The decor is whimsical as well.

Whats really nice about this shop is that they employ artists and not just clerks. Every time Ive gone in with a problem or question, they have a variety of solutions to propose. Ive asked about adhesives, collage, mediums, and framing, and theyre creative and helpful. Occasionally Ive gone to workshops and demos here too, which is a nice community offering.The prices are good, and parking is convenient. Its a great store for gifts and browsing -- actually, Ive spent too much time wandering around this store looking at all the supplies! One of the best presents Ive given my sister was a gift card to Village Art Supply. They also have rather a delicious selection of paper in their back room area.

Do not come here - unless you are prepared to spend money.... I can only limit myself here once a month... Ive found places online that are cheaper - but theres something about going into a store and talking to friendly, knowledgeable staff about products. Especially if youre thinking if branching into a different medium.Just like all small mom and pop / boutique art stores - people go for the environment and the interactions with others that are also artists. Do yourself a favor, go in with a limited amount of money... and dont worry about not getting everything all at once - theres always the next trip....

I have a very talented girl always spend more than 300 dollars every time in this store that is in my neighborhood..the workers at village art supply .. supply you with strange look before they help you ..Maybe bias ? Or maybe in order to be able to shop there you need to dressed up, wear fancy dress, high heels, or tie, or maybe you just need to be blonde lol so you can buy some simple specific regular, acrylics, brushes, pens, markers, paper for your art project .... or Maybe this is too fancy place for Spanish or brown people ... anyway I’m glad we have Rileystreet art store more selection and employees that are down to earth..
