He listened to our concerns and provided viable options for our budget.The installers, Michael and Francisco, were courteous, prompt and professional. Michael communicated their progress each day and the home was left clean and organized each evening. The floor plan would have had some challenges for the average installer or D.I.Y. homeowner. But Michael and Francisco werent concerned and the end result is beautiful and seamless.We would recommend Murnane Carpet & Floors to anyone looking for an upgrade to their home.

Bob and Linda were both very helpful in my recent project of replacing the old carpet in my bedroom with a new engineered wood floor. When shopping for flooring, I also visited one of the big chains, and I found a huge difference in the level of knowledge and service between them. Bob and Linda were much nicer to work with, answered my questions well, and were very accommodating in letting me take flooring samples home to help with my decision. The chain store told me they could not let me take samples home because ... COVID. Which seems silly to me--its a hard surface, I would think they could just disinfect it when I returned it. Anyways, I was happy to support a local business like Murnane instead! When the original flooring I gravitated toward exceeded my budget, Bob was happy to advise me honestly on how Id do with some of the more inexpensive options they have available. Once I decided on everything, the installation guys they sent were friendly, polite, and efficient. They were also able to keep my current baseboards, which I was glad of because they are a little unusual and match the rest of the house. In the end, Im quite happy with my new flooring, and I would definitely recommend Murnane to anyone else shopping for a new wood floor.

I had a great experience with Murnane Floor- the whole process was clean and easy, from choosing my floor from their many samples, to them coming out to measure and the installation. It was one of the best experiences I have had in the last 2-3 years of many renovation projects! I wish all the trades businesses were this smooth!

We were very particular about color and styles, with Murnane providing samples without hesitation. Their in-house installation crew were fast and did an amazing job installing new floorboards and carpet in our new home, in about a week after we finalized our selections.

Bob and Co recently completed a large job putting both carpet and vinyl flooring in a rental unit we own, the job was done quickly, professionally and without any hassle... one small issue was noticed and corrected immediately. Though I have used Bob before on a small carpet job in my own home, I still went through the process of soliciting several bids for this larger job, Murnane Carpet & Floor not only had the best price (not by much) but I had the satisfaction of working with a local independent business and someone I trust. Our downstairs got flooded in Bodega and it was a mess. Bob had a great selection vinyl flooring that looked fantastic and I didnt have to worry about water damage again. Murnane Carpet is conveniently located in downtown Santa Rosa. Their showroom is stuffed with wonderful choices. Their staff is really helpful and truly understands the different needs people have. We had them put new carpet in one of our rentals. At the top landing they suggested a new synthetic hard surface which looks absolutely splendid. We plan to use Murnane for all our floor covering needs.

I visited today, a Saturday. The woman in the store was very nice. But she really didnt know the product. Couldnt locate solid hardwood vs engineered (I thought it was over here). Most questions were answered with Bob knows more about that. Sorry, folks - but if you have Saturday hours you need an informed person staffing the floor. Otherwise, just stay open Mon - Fri.
