The salesman, Henry, was great. The installer, Tony, was far from that. When he came to do the measurements of the floor to be tiled he flew around the house like a mad man. I specifically told him we had a few spots in the flooring that had squeaks that needed to be taken care of. When he showed up for the actual installation he argued and insisted that I never told him that and said in a very loud and boisterous voice, that I dont do repairs, I install tile. When I tried to tell him that yes, indeed, I did tell him we needed the squeaks repaired, he continued to very loudly argue with me and then proceeded to give me a lecture on how flooring and joists work, etc. He then turned to the Hugo, the guy that was there helping and said this isnt going to work out and told him to pick up his tools and leave. He continued to argue with my husband and I to the point that I finally told him to leave. 4 times. When he finally did turn to leave he stated that he had recorded the whole thing and then laughed all they way down the driveway and into his vehicle. He just thought the whole thing was hilarious. It left us in a bind with no kitchen floor being installed. We now have to find someone else to do the installation. Not impressed with the subcontractor the Floor Store hired to install our floor.

Great service people who are so helpful and informative. The rep was so patient and helpful. I will be back to purchase my flooring once I make my selection.

We had a great experience working with The Floor Store. They were able to schedule an estimate visit far sooner than other providers we were talking to and scheduled the install shortly thereafter. Gustavo (the installer) was great. He spent the time to go over the different patterns he could do and set up examples of how they looked in our office space. Gustavo also did a great job with a underfloor hatch we needed accommodated. I will recommend The Floor Store to my friends.

Although I ultimately did not use The Floor Stores services, my experience with them was great.They answered my questions well, contacted me quickly and did their best to work with me in a very cramped time frame. While they still were able to accommodate my time frame we ended up deciding on a company that was able to come in a few days sooner only because we are already short on time.I will definitely reach out to this company again if I ever need more work done!*I talked to Kenny and Mike during this process both were very helpful

They have a large selection of tiles. We found color coordinated tile that is absolutely beautiful. Damian was very helpful with giving us ideas on specific details.

Had a great experience at the floor store right from start. I wanted the entire house done in one continuous flooring. Michael Byrd came out to measure the rooms and help with my choice of laminate. I was kept informed of the order and the install dates. Gustavo and Damien were the installers and they were fabulous. They were clearly accomplished professionals. They had to make adjustments, problem solve quirks in our floor and layout and did this with a good spirit making sure that we were pleased with every aspect of the job. I think their work was superior and I’d recommend them to anyone.

We started out to just get new flooring in our kitchen, Mike Byrd come out and measured the kitchen. We could not find linoleum that I liked. then we wanted wood floor in the kitchen, Mike told us that it would not look right to have different wood floor covering in the kitchen and another color in the dinning room. Mike came back and measured our living room and dinning room for the wood floor. After that was installed my Nico. WE decide we wanted wood in our computer room and sewing room. Nico installed that. Then we needed new carpet in the master bedroom. Mike came out again to measure for that. While he was here we wanted our spared bedroom to have wood in it also. Nico again installed it along with I think his name was Jerry. Our house looks so wonderful now with wood flooring all over the house. Mike was more then helpful, answered all our questions and was very friendly help full but not pushy, if anyone needs any flooring call for Mike Byrd also have Nico install it for you!

The installers( Mr. Jose Elias & his team) did super nice job. They were so kind and knowledgeable people. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to all my friends.

Everyone is very professional and attentive and the installers are fantastic. When we had a slight leak after installation they were very kind in coming to look at it and advise us on how to dry it out. Highly recommend.

My experience was good at the Santa Rosa floor store until the day I went to pickup my flooring. I was told it would be ready at a specific time and rented a truck to pick it up. Upon my arrival my flooring was buried in the warehouse and not ready to be picked up. I was told it would be ready to be picked up on Sunday at a specific time and it was again not ready. It took 3 separate trips to pickup my flooring. The actual product was great and my review would be 5 stars if it wasnt for the difficulty pickup up the flooring.

Love my new floors. Mark was great! He made sure to follow up before and after all was done and made sure I was 100% satisfied with the work being performed. The guys came in and had my floors done in a day. Great job!Thanks

We needed a whole house done with hardwood flooring and area rugs. Very happy with our waterproof hardwood floors and custom made area rugs. Could not find the product or help we needed at the local big box hardware store like we did here. They did the install with no problems out of county. The representative who helped us was great but I understand he is no longer there. If you are rebuilding I suggest using The Floor Store in SR

I run a preschool and we needed a bathroom floor replaced. Set up the appointment for today and half an hour before arrival, got a phone call confirming they were coming. Nick and Jerry were prompt, courteous and did good work. They cleaned everything up at the end of the installation (in and out in two hours). Id recommend them.

I really appreciated the attention I received when I walked into the store. My decision was pretty rapid as I had a good feeling about what I was looking for. All sales personnel worked together when my sales person was not available. My product arrived quickly and I couldn’t be happier about my purchase.

I had a great experience with the Floor Store. Henry (saleperson) was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to find the closest match possible to our existing engineered flooring. We only needed to add flooring to one room (not a huge job), but they gave it their full attention and the installation was perfect. They were very careful removing the baseboards and we did not have to replace anything. Overall, a really good company to work with, and I will use them again in the future.

I recently purchased engineered hardwood flooring from The Floor Store for our open living/dining/kitchen area. Mark helped us and hes my kind of sales person - super helpful but not at all pushy. He genuinely wanted to help me find the right floor at the right price. After several visits and much deliberation, I purchased flooring. Although it was past the deadline for that weeks shipment, The Floor Store went the extra mile to make sure my flooring made it on to the truck and my flooring was there and ready for pick-up the very next day. What an awesome experience! I walked in the store on a late Sunday afternoon and was greeted right away. She called a floor specialist to come over right away and help me. I was literally in and out of the store with all of my flooring needs met (and purchased) within 20 minutes! Unbelievable! My Specialist was Mark Davis. He took care of everything! In August we had some cor-tec flooring installed by Francisco. He was an absolute delight. he was punctual, professional, hard working and fast. plus he always cleaned up after himself. Our experience with the Floor Store service was not a positive one. Our sales person Tim was very helpful during the purchasing aspect of the process.Unfortunately the carpet that was shipped had two separate fold creases, one went down the center of our living room and then other in one of our other room. They suggested that the crease would go away after a couple of runs with a vacuum cleaner. That did not happen, so they then recommended we have a professional carpet cleaner come in to steam clean it. They would not recommend anyone or coordinate the process but will reimburse us for the expense. That did not work either. They then sent someone to inspect again and were going to process a request to have it replaced. The replacement was authorized about 2 weeks after the request and a different install team came out for the removal of the first carpet and install of the second.The team that did the second install was very nice but inexperienced. It took them all day Saturday and half the day Sunday to do the work. We have lots of dings and damages to our baseboards, a couple of creases from carpet joints that they did not match well. The edges of the carpets all have a noticeable dip where they are tacked to the floor and pressed down.Needless to say, the experience with the service was not smooth or as expected from a specialist in flooring. We had a much better experience on our previous install with Home Depot.

Our experience was unfortunate. So many things to complain about. Bad product which they tried to justify by saying “the bad finish on the wood isnt our fault, it is the fault of bad trees....huh? Really poor follow through, insulting way they tried to appease us, sub standard communication.

Ridiculous! Carpet installation is a synchronized process. There are many moving parts and things have to fall into place to create a reasonable experience. These people do this every day, you would think they could get it right. My experience was way beyond frustrating and I tried dealing with the store manager but he didnt want to take ownership of anything. We all screw up occasionally but if you own it and try to make it right you often recapture the respect of your disgruntled customer. We are business owners in Santa Rosa as well and would never have lasted 36 years if we ran our operation like this. Go elsewhere.
