Just tried to stop by for the first time. Just after paying for parking, I round the corner and two people walk out of the store, turn around and lock the door. They walk away, right past my wife and I, who were obviously about to walk in, without a word. At 3:45pm on a Saturday. Ok. I guess kayaking is more important than running a business. Won’t be back here again.Edit: In response to the reply - No worries, found a great shop down the street. Happy to throw my money at businesses brave and wise enough to stay open in these times.
Located in a storefront basement walking distance from Railroad Square, a bit off the beaten path. Huge selection of mostly vintage toys, games and comics. More geared towards collectors than kids, but everyone is welcome. They always have something interesting on the TV.Be ready for some steep stairs to get in and out of the Cave, though they arent too big a hassle. The staff is knowledgeable and usually pretty friendly.Definitely worth a stop-in for anyone looking for a quick and fun trip down memory lane or anybody interested in old-school memorabilia.
This place is pretty special because it has something for all ages. Collectors items, artwork, comic books, toys, etc......You have to see it to comprehend it. The store itself, is well laid out. Easy to observe the items for sale. Everyone is friendly and helpful. A place to shop for avid fans of comic books and collectibles. I shall return. I bought a fantastic painting of Vincent Prices character in the movie House of Wax.
Store hours are posted as Wed - Sun10am - 8pm I got here at 6:20pm on a Saturday to find a post-it note that read We will re-open at 6:00 thank you! The door was locked. I thought maybe they forgot to open it so I called the store. No answer. Theres a cell phone number left an on the answering message so I tried that too. No answer. Waited around for 30min and no one showed up. 4 other people stopped by during the time I was waiting. Not a good way to make sales.
Why haven’t you guys opened back up?
Just made an hour long drive, paid for parking...all for nothing. Just go to Outer Planes.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE 👎🏻Edit - The owner continues to justify his actions, rather than admit to his wrongful actions.I would stay clear of this establishment, as most comments or reviews I have read are in regards to the owner stealing people’s money on eBay and then closing down his account and creating another to continue his theft.
Great selection of toys. Haven’t really checked out the comic section yet but they do have great toys. Also the prices are fantastic. Recommend going here. Just be careful if you bring kids. More like collectibles than toys.
A stunning collection of merchandise and antiques from every franchise and fandom you can imagine. The aura of mystique surrounding the shop is an added bonus to your visiting experience.

My wife and I recently visited this very cool store. Great selection of vintage and new collectable toys and comic books etc.I felt like I went back in time! Definitely a must see for any toy nuts.
Its 4 stars cool but it has an awkward feel to it inside. Feels like youre being watched the entire time but it is understandable. Cool place to go if you like comics and older things. Some new stuff and exclusive things. Just be worry on what you touch lol.
Went there to try and sell some comics. I received an extremely lowball offer compared to other comic dealers I communicated with on my collection.
This place was awesome!!! Unfortunately I wanted things out of my price range however there is an item for everyone and every price range. I really cant wait til my next visit.
Pros: Clean, brightly-lit store with some nice eye candy.Cons: The owner. If youre looking to sell or trade, go somewhere else. Mike will waste your time, throw out a low-ball offer, and then insult you when you decline. He is the epitome of the Simpsons Comic Book Guy stereotype and that is not a compliment.
Great spot for collectables. Not best place for kids. The guy behind the register wasnt thrilled to see kids in there, but our kids behaved very well. Besides, werent we all kids once? Isnt that the point?
Super awesome place to get collectors toys comics and art. Collectors prices but not obscene. Lots of reasonable finds and wants for all. Nice and helpful staff, but understand alot of this store is collectables and you may want to ask before touching or moving to avoid the awkward please dont do that from the staff. Although they inform you politely its not for everyone to be told no, or dont do that.
The Best Comic and Toy store in the entire North Bay! if your from out of town/state you should definitely give this true gem of a shop a visit! No newer comics but tons of back issues! Tons of eye candy in the glass cases, signed Stan Lee comics for days! Vintage Transformers! MOTU figures, love the horror section! Don’t just spend 5 mins in here spend an hour or so! It’s worth it!
Awesome place! It brought back a lot of fond memories from my youth. The staff is very knowledgeable and they are great to talk with. I cant wait to go back!
Super fun place to take a trip down memory lane no matter what era its from! Not only are they awesome to visit, they put on Toycon for all of us to nerd out in one building at the same time! You GOTTA visit a Comic Book Cave once in your life!
It was a cool place. Some good variety. A fairly small anime /manga selection. The fellow was nice. Prices were a little high but thats not surprising for some place local.
Not the most kid friendly comic and toy store I have visited but they have a amazing collection of old school toys that are hard to find and prices are affordable
Im a 42 yr old collector of toys and comics who has gone to a couple hundred shops in my life and this is by far in the top 3.(other2 being Jeffreys in SF and Pop comics in Anaheim)
This is a great place to visit, not always somewhere to buy something but always fun to nerd out.
BOOM ! POW ! AWSOME ! IT TOOK MEBACK ! WOW ! Ill be back ! LL KOOLRAY 😎 CHINGON
This store is pretty much a toy and comic museum. High nostalgia factor here!
I enjoyed the nostalgia, my kids enjoyed all the toys; They have something for everyone here.
A great store for most things (comics, toys, figurines, etc.)I found some items to be priced fairly and also some that were a little high.
Great 80s toys. Very nostalgic
The website said they were open until 8pm on Sunday. So we drove there at 6 and they were closed.
If youre a collector of either vintage or modern toys your bound to find something everytime you walk into Batcave..... The only bad things is all the amazing toys youll find but your wallet wont always agree with you lol but definitely a fun place to check out
This lil morsel is the spot!.... santa Rosa, California.... California Reputable.... 1💖
Liar & cheat... Runs bogus E-bay scams...COLLECTORS BEWARE...UPDATE..now HE CLAIMS that he has never done business with me... I have the E-bay auction numbers in question, and will post them on here soon. Basically, he sold 2 separate hotwheels on separate auctions at a price he felt was too low, (Its called a RESERVE, buster) then RENIGS ON THE SALE. BUT ONLY after charging12.50 to ship a fkn hotwheel, then REFUSING to combine the shipping. When I complained of being GOUGED on shipping, he renigs on the COMPLETED E-bay auction... CHISLER....
Has a great selection for any collection
It was very fun to see toys we played with as a child. Its a kid haven!
Cool place for vintage, collectible toys and comics.
Good selection but most annoyed shopkeeper

The owner is real rude they suck.

Dope
WHERE IS SHE?!?!?!?!
So the owners did a live auction on whatnot had everything priced at or above ppg thats not how auctions work its a bid game then if you say anything in regards to the damaged goods and how the price should reflect what youre selling they ban you ..me and 2 others were banned for making a comment about damage pops good luck with that business ethic
Only problem are the prices, even salted for American
