I hired Mentors Moving & Storage to do a short-distance move. I had a bunch of furniture -- including some pretty heavy stuff -- that I wasnt prepared to move myself. Mentors was PERFECT. They showed up on-time with a 3-person crew and very carefully padded and wrapped every single piece of furniture. Will, Eli, and Maurice were awesome. They really seemed to enjoy their work and took great care to prevent any damage to the items they were moving. All in all, they moved furniture from a 3-bedroom house as well as yard items (like heavy potted plants, barbecue, etc.) in 6.5 hours. It was almost exactly as estimated when I originally spoke with the owner, JR. I cant recommend them enough as their rates were reasonable and they did an amazing job!

Mentor was quick to provide an estimate, very detailed, and provided the best price for moving a piano. They sent timely confirmations, and were on-time and efficient with the move. Braydon, Julia, Sean and team were very capable and friendly. I will definitely call Mentors again when I need moving assistance! Thank you!!

Mentors Moving provides EXCEPTIONAL service -We recently moved across country, from northern CA to upstate NY.From start to finish, JR was available, straight-forward and personable – when was the last time you had consistent communication, actual conversations with the companys owner, who responds to your calls and texts within minutes?! And then a few weeks after the move, calls to follow-up and see how youre doing?!!Our well-honed team included - Shaun, driver and packer, whos spacial perception and expertise proved genius! Maurice, Michael and Mark were conscientious and efficient, putting us at ease and creating a relaxed atmosphere. JR and Angel Alvarez were extremely professional and honestly saved the day! First, I had ordered a storage pod months in advance and they canceled on me the day it was supposed to arrive. This was only a few days before my house I was selling was due to close escrow so everything had to be out within a few days. Angel happened to see me commenting on an online news story about shady moving companies (not associated with them at all) and told me he would have his staff call me (without knowing my situation). JR called me and was very professional even after we thought we could not work anything out. However, he called me the next day because ironically he had a truck already going the next state over from the state I was moving. He was able to schedule to get my items on the truck the next day for a great price. He had his hard working professional staff load everything and get it all the way across the country in a timely manner.I would definitely recommend this company to anyone because of their professionalism and customer service!! Mentors recently helped our company move offices. JR was thorough and professional during the inspection and quote phase of the move while answering any questions we had. On the day of the move, their team was prompt, fast, and professional. This was an amazing company to work with from start to finish. J.R. was accommodating, confident, and kind/empathetic. The estimate process was quick and fair. Reminders were sent out prior to the moving date. Materials were stocked in the truck for all of our moving needs. Extra caution was taken (due to moving on a rainy day) to protect our carpets. Furniture was taken apart, wrapped, and put back together. Not one thing was broken. Not one wall was scratched. The movers (Jay, Milo, and Jorge) were so awesome. They were professional, knowledgeable, and quick! I highly recommend this company.

Mentors was by far the BEST moving company Ive ever used! We had a very complicated move involving several stages of out-of-state and in-state deliveries, storage and ever-evolving moving dates. Super experience. They showed up on time, two guys and one truck. They were personable, ready to go, and didnt mess around. They helped me move a 2 bedroom house, more stuff than I thought, in under 4 hours. Top notch service from beginning to end..and I was not an easy customer. Well, I, myself am pretty nice, but the move itself had some challenges. I had a couple of unusually heavy pieces, but Maurice and Marc handled things like the champs that they are.They packed the truck carefully, quickly and thoroughly. It was a 160 mile drive and 106 degrees at out destination city. Unfortunately, I dont yet have a refrigerator at the new place, so I couldnt offer refreshment, but my new neighbors stepped up and gave us each a cold bottle of water. The team unloaded and put things in place for me. I noticed that Marc efficiently folded each moving blanket and put them nicely in a pile after unwrapping the pieces. Very organized and efficient. Maurice shared stories of his life and family and because we each grew up in neighboring cities I greatly appreciated the walk down memory lane.After the move, when I spoke with J.R. to finalize everything I learned that the name Mentors refers to the mission of orienting and mentoring Foster Kids for life once they leave the system. That is huge in my book! Although I didnt know this at the time of hiring them, A company which is dedicated to taking care of one another, especially those most vulnerable gets my vote and my dollars. I dont want to move again for a very long, long time, but if I do I will definitely try to books these guys again.  Thank you Mentors team for caring! CZ

Great company and would highly recommend! Had an escrow close early and needed to find someone at the last minute. Was a bit concerned that they actually had openings as most movers were booked weeks out. But Mentor Movers came though and packed up the house in a timely and professional manner. After moving our college kids numerous times in Southern CA, and being a local Realtor in Sonoma County, I have a lot of experience with movers. This move was a bit concerning to me as the furniture was very expensive, fragile, and being moved to storage. The crew worked well with my elderly parents, very patient, and understanding of their concerns. They came in with 2 trucks and 5-6 movers and while it took a bit longer, my parents were very pleased with the quality of their work and handling of expensive & fragile furniture! Mentor Moving and Storage is at the top of my list for client referrals!

Showed up early. Worked 7 1/2 hours straight in 100 degree heat. Polite, responsive and hard working. And very fair. I would definitely recommend to all my clients and friends.

We had a long move across the state and to load the truck they sent us 4 people. Wilner, Darion, Tomas, and Eli moved us out of the house and packed the truck so fast and proficient that they were done in two and half hours. The next day for the unload the new neighborhood had the streets filled with tree maintenance crews making it impossible to bring the truck up to the building and Wilner and Darion had to park more than 100 feet away from the building, no exaggeration. They were completely professional and flexible with the parking situation, and worked diligently to unload. The level of professionalism everyone exhibited was such a relief from the stress of moving. 10/10 would definitely utilize again in the future.

Gabriel and his team were on time, professional, efficient and cared for our items. Completed a move from Napa that included a few challenges for a 3 bedroom home in an 8 hour period including a 1.5 hour drive time.

Move went great. The guys showed up on time and were friendly and professional. They made sure I was comfortable on what they were doing and asked if I had any preferences on how things were handled. They also hauled off some items I no longer wanted and set up my new bed in my new apartment. Good teamwork.
