Well kept and maintained and worked store. And lets face it folks, its the 99 cent store! And everyone loves the 99 cent store. And I write this as Im still sippin on the sugar free energy drink I just purchased. Thank you and 99 Cent Store!

$.99 stores only is a store that has many items to choose from in departments like health and beauty automotive housewares grocery items fresh produce dry goods all kinds of stuff now keep in mind sometimes you’re going to find some great name brand deals but their regular stock is generic off brand products which are always great in a pinch!!

The aisles were very stocked, but several aisles were very blocked with cars full of boxes that needed to be shelved for the holiday. If there were an emergency, people would have had a difficult time getting out of the store! The front door of the store was also very crowded with carts & people entering/exiting the store. You couldnt tell who was coming or going, which could prove problematic as people could easily get lost in the shuffle & try to take something without paying for it.

Clean organized isles. Halloween merchandise is out in August 2021. OMG - gotta go back b4 all the good stuff is gone. Lots of good stuff. Me likey🧛‍♀️🧙‍♀️🧟‍♂️

I visited this location on January 8 and found a very good assortment of Valentines day decorations. I decorated my Christmas tree and it looks amazing!

This store has a large amount of name brand products you have to look for them. I come here before I go grocery shopping and save a nice chunk of change. And the items they carry are consistently stocked. Lines are never 12 people deep. There is also a public restroom which I noticed are becoming scarse. 4 star applaud

Employees were very kind and welcoming to Socky dog and I. Instead of immediately judging us as homeless thieves and following us like a hawk looking for dinner to feed her newborn babies(believe me, its not a pleasant feeling to know that everyone around you is looking down on you and at you, all the while eyeing intently your every move to make sure that you dont abscond with one of their items) they instead reached out to pet Socky dog, with minimal mention of whether or not she could be dangerous, and greeted me as if I was just the newest member of their community. and how else would one expect to be treated when in that situation other than with nothing less than absolute warmness and kindness. There SHOULDNT be any other options. Thank you 99¢ store!

Everything they sell in no longer only 99 cents. The prices vary, but end in. 99. Good size store, seems to be constantly changing shelving to accommodate more products. The store is stocked well. Bey offer produce, but be cautious and look carefully before buying. There is often a line to checkout.

Its pretty good lots of stuff WOULD RECOMMEND The only thing is that its kinda busy but its ok

99 cent stores are nice to have in town for when you need something like shower curtains and dont want to pay an arm and a leg for. But they have all types of stuff from toys to food. Can goods, and most things you would think of and need to buy $1

I went in for one item and walked out with two bags. Store was very clean. The only issue was the annoyance of the employees announcing they were closing soon. Literally every 2 minutes starting 20 minutes from closing time.

Im able to find the items that I am looking for at a great price and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Lots of great deal items..Brands names, at a reasonable price. This particular location carries lots of cool stuff.

Normally Id give five stars, they unfortunately dont seem to believe the truth in advertising act applies to them too. The company provided a coupon to customers that said you could get one item free Priced up to $99.99 as long as you purchase $15 or more.Update 8/30/2020: Contacted by 99 Cent Only Owner to correct me that the coupon does not say $99.99 but actually 99.99 cents. It still proves my point because 9999 pennies is still 1 penny short of $100. I tried responding directly to the company owner, Google would not let me use a reply function to the owners comments.A court case in 2005 involved a Costume Contest Winner vs a San Diego Bar that hired an advertising company to advertise for their Halloween Costume Contest. When the bar did not pony up the advertised prize they where taken to court. The court ruled against the bar because by law the bar was required to honor the advertising even though it was misprinted by the advertiser. By bar owners not stopping the advertisement that constituted approval of the advertising. The bar was at fault. Under the ruling of the court it would suggest that 99 Cent Onlys advertising contends that they are liable to honor the coupon as printed.

This location is in Santee, CA - very well organized, stocked, very helpful staff, all wearing masks & social distancing - customers & employees alike. I dont come here very often as I live farther away where there is a 99c branch (El Cajon). This establishment is my go to source for paper goods, foil wrap, gift bags, organic vegetables, pasta, sauce, spices, lots and lots more. Its a clean store, & make sure you make a list of whatever you need, and I guarantee, you will walk away with so much more as you will realize how much good stuff is there for even less than half the price. In these times, we need places like 99c Stores to help us stretch our dollar $.

A little crowded a little messy some people just knock things over onto floor and dont bother picking up there mess they just leave it where it lands and dont pick it up lazy lazy push it off on others to clean up thier mess wow!!!!!!!!

99 Cent Store always has items I didnt suspect it would have. Today was a coconut run for me. I found coconut chips, flakes, milk and coconuts with no extra added ingredients. Thats awesome for people who are allergic to Soy.

This store is organized clean and very convenient. Has a great selection and is always well stocked unlike some 99 cent stores. The line get pretty long during the rush hours but the staff move fast and get everyone moving. You never feel like you wait very long.

Thr store is to crowded in isles to get wheelchair down them. Hard to navigate in wheelchair

You get what you expect. Low cost goods from China, except food, which are sold at higher prices in other stores.

The store says .99 cent, but only half the items are .99 cents. Store packed with all kinds of items, but almost everything was $1.99 or more unless you just want off brand chips and laundry items.

Great deals and the staff have always been super friendly. Ive never had a bad experience here and love the treasures I can find. Only downside is that they have other things that they price higher like 1.99 etc so you have to really pay attention. Dont assume everything is 99¢ like the name entails

Bad customer service bad experience they where so rude I wanted to do return and the manager at night shift told me that they dont give cash back eventhough I paid cash ... but then they did it

Great selection, 2 liter Pepsi products always a buck plus tax/crv. If you need to spend thrifty for groceries or any celebration sans alcohol, this is the right place. Only big downside is the checkout wait time, otherwise give it a shot as Im sure all can find something here.

Funny, bought 2 non-taxable items and the total came to two dollars. I guess this is now a $1.00 Store. The 2 Cents doesnt bother me.Parking is ample here, store is laid out well and usually fully stocked.

Super clean store and really organized. The only bad thing at this store is the checkout lines. The wait can either be really fast or really slow. Either way, this is by far one of the best 99 Cents Stores in SD.

Its a standard 99 cent store. Has a fair mix of things. Their holiday section is usually good. The candy section is comparatively small. Some of the staff is really friendly. There are times when the line gets very backed up, and theyll call for help, but it doesnt come.

This store is great they have odd things I would usually spend a lot more on if purchased online. They have lots of things and big brands but sometimes it is in a smaller package than youre used to, but hey its a dollar.

The worst customer service ever!!! I came in and asked a worker named Lucy if they carried cheese cloths. She directed me to the freezer. I then asked her why would it be in the freezer? She then told me she doesnt know what Im asking. If she didnt know then ask dont just send me to any aisle. Then I asked for a manager thinking that person would know. I was directed to Sally. She said she is the manager. I asked her if they carried cheese cliths. She then said maybe not if they do have it it might be in the store. What kind of service is this?? I then asked her for the phone number and name of store and she said to google. Boy oh boy... she has a lot to learn. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! STAY AWAY..

Treated very unfairly by a “Hiba” that works in this store! She appears to be maybe racist because everyone else she treated nicely as I stood in line. To be clear she seemed annoyed that I wanted to exchange one item! Pretty sad if you ask me, your job is to scan items and be friendly and she wasn’t capable of doing either. This is now my second encounter with “Hiba” it is a regular thing with her it seems like. Last time she was rude to my frail little grandma & I said nothing and then rude again to me for just being a customer.

This 99 cents store in Santee is less than desirable. I usually shop at the one in El Cajon. Less than organized, staff is not helpful the isles are too small to get through for the amount of business they have. Just not a good location.

Nice inexpensive items for fall

As the sign says 99 cents for virtually anything in the store, I shop there for discounts on electronics, hardware, and food. You have to be careful about produce as somethings items are close to the end of their shelf life, and must be used immediately.
