First time using this Automotive repair center and it was a great experience. They were very pleasant and knowledgeable and were able to get me in and fix the issues I had with my vehicle. 5 stars all day long for this repair center!

Long story short, I had an appointment for calibrating a device in my truck and during the process my battery kept crapping out. They finished the procedure and than proceeded to jump start my battery because it was dead as a door nail.. I leave the shop and get about 2 blocks away before my truck dies. Oh boy! So I call them with my fingers crossed that to see if they could help me in any way (which by the way is a long stretch. These guys are super busy and extremely hard working). Not only did Tim and Brandon tow my truck back to his shop but they decided to give me a used battery which was still very much in working order so I could be on my way. I was absolutely in shock and almost cried at the sincere generosity and thoughtfulness towards me. Thank you guys so very much! See you again soon!!

Good fast service at a great price

Brought my 19 year old Mercedes convertible and explained I was taking a road trip and wanted to make any possible repairs. I know these people from my Rav4 and when I got back they said you need tires. I expect most shops would have found more than tires, frankly. Very happy with their service over the last few years.

Tim, The Owner might be the best & most honest mechanic & store owner I have ever met! I took my vehicle in for an oil leak. He diagnosed it plus found the transmission leak & crack in the radiator. He explained the difference between the cost of the repair & a new vehicle. I live in Fort Myers Beach but will take all my cars to Tim! Curt Farris

I have used Main Street auto for the past 15 years. Tim, the owner, is very fair and honest. He is the best, not only in Sarasota, but the best that I have ever had to do work on my car. I would highly recommend his service. I am a single female and have no knowledge of cars, but Tim has never ripped me off and has always been honest. I personally would not let anyone work on my car but Tim!

Tim did a great job fixing the AC on my GMC truck. He is very knowledgeable and has fair prices. My wife has had routine maintenance done there several times and she always has good things to say about her experiences.

Its hard to find a gas station that also has a garage and can fix cars. They we great. All I needed was a brake light bulb changed. They didnt keep me waiting, Im thankful to have them near my neighborhood

I have lived in Sarasota my entire life, and quality, economical automotive repair has been a problem. I was referred to Main Street, and the experience was very nice. Free estimates, they wont take a job that they cant complete, and they under promised and OVER delivered. Pricing was competitive but they worked hard and delivered my car 6 hours early.

Honest, affordable auto repair. Took me a while to find a shop that was trustworthy and thorough prior to Main Street Auto. I have a 2007 Ford Expedition and 1988 Jeep Cherokee. Ive taken both cars to Tims shop for numerous repairs, everything from simple oil changes to $1K coil replacements, and the repair work and customer service has been excellent.

Brought in my car for an oil change and a tire balance. Work was done quickly at a very fair price. I would definitely recommend to anyone seeking maintenance service for their car.

My wife and four kids drove down to Sarasota for vacation and had some issues with our Jeep Commander when we arrived. We were referred to Tim at Main Street Auto and took it in immediately. My wife brought the Jeep in and Tim drove her back to our hotel. He did some diagnostic tests and then brought it back to us. I have never had such personal attention and care given to my vehicle or my family by a mechanic. I highly recommend Tim and his services to anyone. He was down-to-earth, trustworthy, and fair.

Good, honest service with fair prices.

I have gone to Main Street Auto for all my auto repair and maintenance needs, including new tires, for the past 13 years. The work has always been completed when promised at a very fair rate. Once when I bought a new car, problems (under warranty) that the dealership could not figure out how to fix were promptly fixed at Main Street Auto. I wont let anyone else work on my cars and I tell everyone about Main Street Auto.
