Have used them several times and always great. Finally a honest mechanic who tells me what is really the problem and not trying to sell unnecessary work. Very friendly and professional. Love the sense of humor from the office staff.

I cant stress enough how satisfied my family is with Tom Wilson. We have had service multiple times and its always addressed quickly. Weve never had unnecessary repairs suggested. A couple of times, we were only charged for parts and no labor for minor problems. Ive referred several people who are also very satisfied.

Went to get a noise diagnosed and an oil change. I explained that the noise could only be heard when driving the vehicle, instead of driving it and hearing the noise they said it sounds like an exhaust leak, I wouldnt worry about it. BUT you do need brakes and rotors.....Left with the noise still undiagnosed a 90 dollar oil change/tire rotation and then trying to sell me front brakes and rotors for $472.00I could have got the oil change rotation at tuffy for 29.99 but I wanted them to diagnose the noise which they didnt.Will not go back would not recommend.

I moved out of Sarasota last year and drive an hour each way if my car is able because I trust them more than anyone.Edit: after several expensive and preventable issues, my family has chosen to take our vehicles elsewhere. Making mistakes is understandable, but refusing to accept responsibility for mistakes is not acceptable.

Their prices are very reasonable, and whenever I call they always make time to see me whenever works for my busy schedule. Really I cant say enough good things about them!

Very pleasant and professional people. I just moved here, and its always a challenge to find a good auto repair shop. I didnt have anything major done, just needed an oil change and a squealing belt adjusted, but they were quick, and the price was fair. There are numerous ASE certificates on the wall, they seem to participate actively in the community, and seem to be very genuine. Hopefully, I wont need any major service performed soon, but if I do, Ill be going back to further evaluate this place.

My experience with Tom Wison Auto Repair was far from positive. They charged $749 for a fuel pump replacement on a 2001 Ford Expedition. They close at 5:00 p.m. so we had to pick up the vehicle after hours on a rainy Friday night. For some reason we noticed the wipers no longer worked. I drove it home without wipers. After checking the fuses under the dash, I changed out the wiper motor Sunday afternoon. After doing this discovered that the wiper speed relay was completely missing from the distribution box under the hood. Apparently during troubleshooting they removed it for some reason and never replaced it. The bad news is Tim Wilson could not have cared less when I called him. No apology, no offers, nothing. I told him I would let everyone I know not to trust them. He indicated he didnt think it would hurt them too bad. Maybe it wont, but there are plenty of other reputable shops out there, so my advice is to steer clear of this one. They are negligent, and unapologetic when they are negligent, and they charge top dollar. At this point I question if they even changed the fuel pump.
