We were having a problem with our depth finder and Devon came to our home and quickly fixed our issue. Not only was he pleasant, he was helpful in educating me on a few questions I had. I highly recommend Ingman.

Contacted Stingray manufacturer and they suggested I call Ingman Marine because they are a local dealer of their brand. I called their service department for help. The person who answered the phone was immediately annoyed with me as a customer and did not care to help me at all. I am a very laid back kind of consumer and I do not leave a whole lot of reviews but this guy was so rude It actually made me want to leave this one.

My husband and I recently purchased a 2020 280cc Cobia From Ingman Marine. Our salesman, was extremely patient with us as we went through the process of building our boat. He was awesome with suggestions for color schemes as well as going over all of the options that were available and helping us decide what was ideal for our boat. The pricing was extremely fair compared to other boats in that same market and the warranties were excellent.While we waited for the boat to be completed, he kept in touch with us on the progress of the build and the timeline for delivery. When our boat was finally delivered from the manufacturer, the prep turn around was a week for the final rigging. On the day we took delivery of the boat, Derek was awesome in explaining all the options, the motors and maintenance required of this beauty! We can’t say enough great things about the process and how smooth the process was. They truly went above and beyond!

I am a charter captain on Anna Maria Island. I had a leaking power trim seal on my 2019 Yamaha 300. I called and was immediately given an appointment to bring my boat in. I brought the boat in the following week and Devin the master tech was there to greet me and take my boat. I had the boat back the same day good as new. They also greased all of my fittings and lubed the inside of the engine. Everything was completed under warranty with no charge. Service was fantastic and fast. I would reccommend Devin and Ingman Marine for all your Yamaha needs!

We had an boat accident where another boat hit our motor and created some hull damage at the marina. The boat was only 2 years old with 100 hours. We wanted the local Hurricane factory dealer to make the repairs. These guys said what they were going to do and did what they said they would do. Transporting the boat, working with multiple vendors making repairs, receiving parts, verifying the operating and bringing the boat back. Devin and his team communicated with us every step in the process. This company provides A+ service and communications with their customers!

Excellent quality of service from the staff, very knowledgeable!I’ve been a fishing guide in Sarasota since 2006. I run about 200 charters a year, that’s a ton of hours on a motor, about 300 a year, I’ve run Yamaha outboards the whole time. I’ve been through some used motors (old two strokes OX66) and have had my share of repairs and maintenance, I bought a brand new Yamaha 175 from Ingman in november, I have been blown away by the attention to detail and professionalism of their service staff. i’ve never seen this level of service in my whole time in this industry. I went in for my hundred hour service, Dang! they greased and lubed stuff I never even noticed. The friendly and knowledgeable service manager Devon got me in there quick and made concessions due to my business, thank you sir, and Vinnie the Yamaha motor tech is brilliant young mechanic who has a winning attitude, professional demeanor and he knows his stuff. Thank you Ingman Marine for doing such a great job! At first I was somewhat apprehensive, assuming that going to a dealership shop, perhaps I would be overcharged or brushed off to the side with my old boat, BUT, that was not the case!They were very fair with the charges and their level of service is a great value, like no other mechanic/service I’ve ever experienced, I’m looking forward to returning to Ingman Marine by the airport for all my Yamaha outboard maintenance in the future.

I have had the pleasure of working with Wayne at Ingman Marines Sarasota location for the past six months, during which time he helped me put together the specifications for a Cobia center console boat. I found that Wayne, Devin and Derek and the rest of the staff to be extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful during during the design, building, delivery process as well as Dereks in water instruction. That was particularly true even though we experienced some order and delay issues that were totally beyond their control and were a direct result of the effects of Covid. I bought my Bennington pontoon and Yamaha outboard from Ingman 4 years ago. I have been very happy with their sales, service, and parts departments. Today was no exception. I had discovered that the motor wasnt charging the battery. Made an appointment to take it in by water. Darek met me at the 10th St dock at 9AM. He already had the trailer in the ramp when I got there. Devin called me before noon. They isolated the problem to the regulator and they had the part at their Pt Charlotte location. The part was brought up to Sarasota and installed. They put the boat back in the water at 4:30 and I had it home before dark. Awesome service. Couldnt ask for more.

Top notch customer service and quality work experience for our Bennington Pontoon serviced at Ingman Sarasota. Devin was our service coordinator who was simply a find! He COMMUNICATES every step of the process - hard to find! He emails and calls with the detailed work agreement, pricing, when boat will be picked up/dropped off (was on time), status reports, follow-ups and there was no pressure for unneeded services. Price was in line for the service and for the bottom painting. 7 issues requesting repair and they fixed every one! What a pleasure. As a Veteren is was nice to be able to be welcomed by other veterans at Ingman. Wayne approached me and I told him what I was looking for in a first boat. I went to three other places before this and no one worked with me on price and accessories. Wayne gave me an offer no one could refuse. I ended up with a 2019 SH 211 ultra. They detailed the boat and made sure all cosmetics were perfect. The man in charge, Gene- also a vet, made sure I was happy and even went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed to clean and maintain the boat. Derick took me out for Capt lessons and I was very pleased with his knowledge. Even more pleased Ingman is working with me on future lessons to insure I can maneuver the boat and keep my investment damage free. I am almost 100 positive the hospitality has not ended yet. To me it felt like joining a family rather than walking into a boat store. Highly recommended.

My wife and I just purchased a 27 Sea Hunt from Ingman Marine of Sarasota. The price we paid was very competitive, however, what sold us was our Salesman Nick. He diligently worked to put us into a boat that was right for us. He kept me up to date on the new electronics installation. And, Nick made himself available on his off days to converse via email with me to answer my questions. My only concern during the purchase was that my boat would not be ready on the scheduled delivery date. Fortunately, my boat was delivered on time as promised. The General Manager made sure the boat was detailed to perfection and every item on our checklist was addressed. Finally, Derick was the Captain that delivered and explained the workings of my boat. His knowledge of the vessel was fantastic and he made learning how to use the boat easy to understand. I have no regrets using Ingman Marine and will use them in the future. In fact, I live nearly 30 miles away and will have my boat trailered to them for service. Thanks guys!!

Tried to call this place for a parts for my boat and the parts lady just tried to talk me out of it...just getting them on he phone was hard should of taken that and run ....... another place took the order 1700.00 thanks for nothing....

Update: I have modified my review due to the responsiveness and frankly do what it takes attitude of Gene to make it right. What I have below is all factual and frankly was a very bad experience. I hope they fixed the root cause of the issue. What I can say is that Gene was responsive, knowledgeable and a real pleasure to work with. And to be clear, I don’t think the issues below were Bill’s fault. He was a new employee who didn’t appear to be trained well. I have a quality boat and have been having a great time on the water.—————————————-Worst experience ever. Here is what just happened to me. I spent 4 hours there Sunday looking at boats. Picked a boat. Submitted an application for financing (a pull against my credit). Bill, the new salesman, at the Bradenton office continued to say he wasnt getting email from Marker 5. Market 5 handles setting up the lending. I spent an hour talking to Bill and the lender (Alex) trying to get it situated on Monday. Bill finally called Alex. After all of this Bill calls me and tells me the boat was already sold. I have bought many boats, cars, etc. and have never written a review like this one. And I forgot to mention. I kept calling and when they would forward me to Bill it was sent to Brandons voicemail. Clearly this company provides zero training or on boarding for new employees. Be very careful if time is important to you.

I had a problem with my Simrad NSS Evo 3 system. Devin from Ingman Marine in Sarasota came to the marina where I keep my boat to trouble shoot the issue. Within a short period of time, Devin was able to diagnose the problem and he had my system back up and operating again. Devin is also an excellent Yamaha mechanic and can be trusted to fix any problems related to Yamaha engines. Great Job Devin! Thank You!

Competent and reasonably priced, if there is such a thing when it comes to boats.

We purchased a new 220 cobia a few weeks ago and because of the low inventory and back stocked trailers, we worked with all the dealerships to get the deal done, but the Sarasota branch really saved the day and can’t say enough positive things about them.We worked with a sales person out of the Port Charlotte dealer ( who was great and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend), the boat was at the Placida dealer and Sarasota is our home dealer.The purchase of the boat was fantastic, but the delivery was pretty bad, the Placida location was just really off its game and didn’t really follow through with anything, and they had the boat on their lot for a month waiting for the trailer- things like not even detailing a brand new boat and taking until the day the trailer came in to fill a few hull voids. So we get it covered in rust, mold, and salt calcium from likely not being maintained on the lot. The trailer came in finally and they didn’t even put the trailer together correctly so the boat wouldn’t sit correctly on it and needed to be fixed. All the little concerns started adding up to big ones and I’m sure our sales person not being on site with the boat played a part since it seems like they didn’t always follow through with his requests. That’s when we started working with the Sarasota Dealer.They SAVED THE DAY and have been absolutely fantastic to work with. The immediately had us bring the boat in and fixed every single concern and had the boat fully detailed and ordered new cushions AND had it ready before expected.Absolutely looking forward to doing continued Buisness with them and loving our new boat! Overall very happy with our experience with Ingman, though the Placida location left a little to be desired.

Over the years we purchased 3 boats from Ingman in Sarasota and always had them serviced there as well. They do an excellent job in both sales (Nick) & service (Tim). They go the extra distance to make sure you are happy. They carry enough brands and categories of boats from flats to offshore so there’s no need to go anywhere else. To future boat seekers,We started a journey with Ingman Marine the weekend of April 11th, 2020. We arrived at the Sarasota location interested in a boat we saw online. At this time, we were told, by our salesman, to put a deposit down to hold the boat and to bring it up from the Fort Myers location. Our salesman, Scott, then took a copy or our information (driver’s license and debit card) and told us the boat is now off the market because he took a deposit from us to hold it. We were not offered a receipt after giving him a copy of the debit card.We then waited a week for the boat to be transferred up from the Fort Myers location. It arrived on April 16th and we went in on April 17th at 4:45 p.m. Our salesman said that the staff at Fort Myers took the boat out for a test run and it ran perfectly. We expressed our interest immediately and asked for a sea trial even though they said it ran “perfectly.” That Sunday, April 19th, we met Scott and his manager at the boat ramp for the sea trial. When the boat was in the water, the motor would not turn on. The primer bulb was dry rotted and not letting gasoline get into the motor. This was extremely disheartening because they told us they ran it a few days before in Fort Myers. That was obviously a lie, but we really wanted this boat. After, we offered to get a new primer bulb at West Marine, and they said sure. We went and purchased the part and brought it to them to see if could get the boat running. We really wanted this boat to work!A few days later we received a call that the boat was running again; we immediately asked for a sea trial. We had a lot of difficulties trying to get a sea trail the second time, we kept calling and begging Scott. Finally, we called him on April 25th, and he said come around 2:30 p.m. We arrived at 2:30 and then waited 20 minutes for him to finish up with a client. After, we met him at the boat ramp another 30 minutes later. When he arrived, the boat would not turn on because the battery was dead. They left the plug in the boat and bilge pump ran the day before due to heavy rainfall. Then, we waited another 45 minutes at the boat ramp while he ran to put another battery in the boat. Finally, the boat turned on and we were able to go on a sea trial. While on that trial they left bad gas in the boat, so at full throttle the boat would stop all of the sudden because of the bad gas. Scott explained it was an easy fix and after the trial we told him to make an offer to the seller. Scott told us he was calling the owner the next day to make the offer, we did not hear from Scott after that. We started making calls through the week to check in and Scott was not answering calls or texts messages. Finally, we went down on Friday afternoon May 1st to see what was going on and we were told that he still hadn’t made contact.On May 2nd, we decided to research on Facebook selling wall and we came across the boat we put a deposit down on. We decided to contact the seller ourselves and she informed us that it was sold. We were very confused, so we tried to contact Scott and the Sarasota location, but no answer. I spoke with someone at the Fort Myers location who confirmed that it was sold. We are devastated and we put so much time into this boat. The boat was sold out from under us, even after putting a deposit down.

Just bought our Cobia 301 and insisted on Ingman because of several recommendations by captains in the area. Nick sold us the boat, very knowledgeable and no pressure. Ask for Nick and you’ll get straight up answers. Derrick set us up at delivery, since he’s also a “local” he knows boats and he knows what a owner needs to know. This would be a six star review but I could not wrestle prime Sarasota fishing points out of anyone. These guys shut their mouths like clams when I asked.... I guess I’ll have find them myself. Devon is my service contact and he’s the best. Devon is a mechanic by trade so he knows these boats inside/out and I think that’s a huge advantage for both him and Ingman. 5 stars.

This is not a reflection on the dealer but on hurricane itself. It’s sad to have a boat and not be able to get parts for older model boats. If you’re deciding on hurricane as your future purchase, just know that down the line you may not be able to get parts to do any repairs. If you don’t believe it just ask the dealer to look up parts on a seven-year-old boat.

Looking for my first boat and stopped by here on my way home from work. It was the second boat dealer that I had stopped at. I spoke with Wayne, the salesman that was there at the time. I explained what I was thinking about and Wayne was very knowledgeable and seemed to get completely what I needed. After our discussion, Im planning on going in another direction than when I started based on his suggestions. Doing some more research but when Im ready to buy, this is where Ill go because of the sales staff.

Bought a 26TRS Pathfinder in January and love the boat. The sales folks were great. Had a few minor items to correct and Gene the service manager handled everything beyond our expectations. Devin (tech) just installed my new PowerPole Blade took about 4 hours. Looks perfect. Dropped it off, next day picked it up. Tim (service manager) couldnt have been more informative and easy to talk too. No more anchors in the shallow water for me.

Had an electronics problem while on the water Saturday. Sent a text over the weekend to Nick because Im scheduled to go on vacation in a couple weeks and panicked about having issues. I got to work and knowing the service guys come in at 0830, I looked up Ingmans phone number at 0829. To my complete surprise, Tim, the service manager, called me at 0830 before I could pick up the phone and dial. Service already scheduled!!!!! Take it from me, if you are in the market for any boat, new or used, its worth way more money to get treatment like this. I will buy the rest of my boats through retirement from Ingman in Sarasota because of this kind of service. Completely unexpected. This is the kind of service you get from a Lexus dealership!!!!! I wanted to see pictures of a new boat that wasnt on the dealership website. The salesman W. thought that was too much trouble. For someone that wasnt sure if they were coming to this dealership.I just closed on a 25 foot Bennington at a dealership that provided superior customer service.Thank you! If that is how prospective customers are treated, I can only imagine how the captive audience is served.

I have purchased two boats from Ingman - a 277 Cobia and now a 301 Cobia. Boat boats are amazing. My new 301 is incredible. I use it primarily for offshore fishing and it takes rough seas like champ and will run nearly 60 mph on calm days. I also added the autopilot and anchorless to my new one. Both make long fishing trips a breeze allowing me to spend more time with my line in the water. I bought both boats with Wayne Sault. He was easy to work with and made the entire process simple. Ingman and Wayne are awesome! A+++++

It took me a long time to decide on a new boat. In the end Ingmans had the right boat and the right deal. I visited several times over a period of months. My salesperson Wayne Sault remembered me and never once rolled his eyes when I showed up. He was patient and always answered my questions. Once my wife and I decided to order what we wanted he gave us a clean deal. The board was delivered on time and at this point we are very happy with our experience.

The problem with bad reviews is that there are always two sides. One of the boat owners at our Marina asked where I have my boat serviced and I told him Ingman. He said he read a few reviews and was reluctant on taking it there. His boat was over 5 years old and he had purchased it from a private buyer recently. I told him that Ive purchased 2 boats from them and couldnt ask for better service and fair pricing. Ingman came to the marina, picked up his boat, did a tune up and even fixed several weather stripping without charging him. Plus many at our Marina use them even though there is a mechanic on property. Considering the massive amounts of boats they sell, Id say theyve done well for theyre customer service.

I took delivery of a factory tricked out 26 Pathfinder TRS a little over 1 month ago and Im still amazed how painless the whole process was. The coordination between the factory and the dealership was flawless. Tim in Service has been a delight to work with. His professionalism and knowledge became very apparent when it came time to the 20hr service and the punchlist of things that needed addressing. That list was pretty small (mph sensor on the Yamaha failed and a weak gas strut on a rod locker.) Ingman Marine Bradenton has been truly outstanding.
