Wow.....Just wow. Do you want your expectations exceeded? Do you want to be blown away by attention to detail and quality? How about work with not only exceptionally talented people but just plain honest great people? How about being treated fairly? They have set a new bar for me in all these areas that I sincerely doubt anyone is going to beat. Removal of old built in radar and jammer with upgrade to Alps and detector. Their work was absolutely perfect. My Porsche 997.2 GTS remains pristine....they understood exactly my desires without me having to articulate. Totally stealth. Totally clean. I purchased an integrated radar detector + laser jammer from Automods in 2019. My experience working with Becky was incredible. Fast forward to 2021 and my radar detector antenna started to malfunction. Because I live outside of the US, and with Covid, I could not drive down to have Automods do a warranty swap. Becky jumped on it, coordinated everything with the vendor and introduced me to a facility in my country that could do the work at the same standard. You know that they do go work when another shop comments on how good the work was! HUGE thank you to Becky for providing exceptional customer service/experience! Anyone can buy the same product from multiple providers...... its the support after the fact that matters most. In this case, Automods stepped up and crushed my expectations!

Incredible service and care from Becky and Tony at Automods. You can tell they stand by their product and their work! Their skid plate fits like an oem Part and has a genius design to it (the edges are perforated so that it can be molded precisely to the curvature of your bumper). They did an impeccable job installing it and will warranty it for life. Tony gave me a nice little tour of their facility and it’s quite impressive. They make their products ON SITE rather than somewhere abroad. The install was fairly straight forward that I am sure most people can do it on their own at home if necessary. Skip the cheap stuff and please get one of their skid plates.A 600 LT was in the Shop getting extensive work done and you can tell that they were doing it right. I went to AutoMods in frustration that I could not get the attention of another similar shop that I had selected. Becky was very attentive to my issue. Tony installed my back up camera for the price quoted (which, although high because of parts, was well explained so that I could understand the reasonableness of the quote), on time, and the camera works as advertised. I looked at the Google reviews and Becky explained the situation relating to the one negative review so that I was comfortable that the negative review did not reflect the work of AutoMods. Very satisfied.

Tony is a pure genius. I’ve been in the auto business for 12+ years and rarely do you find someone so bright, resourceful and as personable as Tony & Becky.He’s done things for my cars that I thought were impossible. He replicated an extinct Porsche part for my 77 930 that couldn’t be found anywhere. Took him less than an hour to create it. Now the Porsche is just that more perfect.On same car did a full retrofit (another shop) of a proper ac system, but a side effect was lifting the rear grill on the whale tail, which left an unsightly and unacceptable gap. Tony fashioned an extension on the grill to hide it.Tony is a pure perfectionist and doesn’t leave anything to chance.For audio, radar and related items there is absolutely no one better and more dedicated.Thanks as always.

I tried for hours to remove my head unit from my r8 with no success as the bottom keys wouldn’t latch so the top keys were stuck. I took it to Auto Mods and within minutes Tony had fixed the problem and removed the keys. The staff was exceptional and I would highly recommend them!

I brought my wifes 2006 Corvette to have them look at the navigation that was 10 years old and the satellite radio. They recommended a new stereo and when I asked about speakers, they told me to wait until the new radio is installed to see if the speakers sound better. Boy were they right! The new radio (that I was leaning towards anyways to replace the factory one) made the speakers sound awesome! For a nominal fee they also installed a backup camera, which is really helpful in a Corvette. They didnt sell me more than I needed, did an excellent job with the installation, and were fast, professional, and helpful. Thank you AutoMods! Will definitely use them again and highly recommend them!

Tony and Becky were GREAT to work with. We had 2 cars that needed their windows tinted. Becky described the various options and with her help, I got the heat reduction I had hoped for with no change to the visibility. Ill definitely use them again.

Be cautious, be aware! The request for the work I wanted done on my car was simple: no cheap parts. Guess what, I got cheap parts. Parts so cheap they only had a 60 day warranty. 60 days!!! I was not even made aware of the very short warranty. Well, the part failed just outside of 60 days. Now I’m stuck! Tony was very argumentative with me about the situation. Tony even refused to give me the name or number of the company that sold the faulty part. This is the first negative review Ive ever given a company.I would never ever take my car back here for anything.

This is single handedly the best shop in town. Tony (the shop owner) is not just an installer, but a true fabricator. HIs work is nothing short of amazing, a true perfectionist. He recently installed some electronics (dash cam, radar, curb alert, folding side mirrors, etc) in my work car and his attention to detail is at a level Ive never experienced before. If you didnt know hed installed this equipment, you would have thought it came from the factory. Clearly this is the only shop Im ever going to use again and I already have another project for him in the works.

Honest and thorough - they diagnosed my escort detector issues (2 cars - 13 Acura RDX - windshield mount detector - 13 911 Carrera S, built in system) and promptly fixed them. They know their stuff and handle repairs efficiently. Busy shop, but worth the wait. Recommend highly !!

Rarely does one find a business in the middle of relocating from one building to another and can find time to accomodate a casual customer. Tony took my call and could have easily told me to make an appointment on a later date instead he said come on over and I will take a look at it. Itwas a cd that I had improperly inserted and was stuck. He and Becky stopped what they were doing and fixed my problem.Im certain they knew that there wasnt much of a profit in this transaction but they treated me as if I just purchased a new sound system, radar detector and every other great accessory they sell.They refused to charge me!!!Customer service is alive and well in this business. A great local family business.

My husband Joel recently purchased a new Pioneer in dash GPS/CD/DVD/stereo radio from Automods and had them install it in his car. The folks there did an excellent job in a minimal amount of time. All the needed hardware was obtained within 1 day of placing the order, and installed the same day with no surprises. The finished project looked like it came that way from the carmaker, and the unit functions flawlessly. Significantly, the staff went out of their way to make him feel at home while waiting for the job to be completed. And once the unit was installed, they took the time needed to instruct him in its operation.Automods......a great place to do business!

AutoMods is an amazing shop! Tony and Joe are extremely skilled technicians and were able to install a Pioneer NEX with a custom wood grain panel in my vehicle in a quarter of the time it would have taken me to do it myself. They definitely did a better job cabling; carefully routing the microphone and USB cables so that they were barely noticeable (like, I dont even know where the mic cable is, its magic!). They even took the time after the job was done to walk me through the operation of my new stereo. Becky in the front office walked me through the process Tony prefers - soldering the wires instead of using butt connectors and even showed off some of the impressive custom skid plates they install (if you have a Lambo or other exotic and are tired of scraping up your bumper, Tony is the guy to see - consistent color through the entire piece, countersunk rivets, it looks like it came out of the factory that way). Tony is talented and does things right. AutoMods stands behind their work and go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy. Heck Tony even topped off my tires and warned me that my back tire might have a nail in it! Ill gladly come back again when I need additional work done.

It has been an answer to a prayer getting my suv serviced at Automods in Sarasota, FL. After changing out radios, amplifiers, speakers, processors, sound treatment and service from other local installers and still being very dissatisfied, I was at my wits end trying to get my vehicle to achieve the true high end audiophile sound quality I knew was possible. Many shops can become retailers for high end equipment, but do not have the skills of professional sound engineering, and master tuning as Tony P. My vehicle sounds better than I thought was possible, and my standards are high. He fixed problems with gain, phase wiring, sound localization for 30 frequency bands of equalization via test tunes for each of the 6 active speakers, achieved superior timing and balance to the hundredths of a second, prevented clipping for all frequencies and volume levels via RTA real time analysis tuning. He fixed crossover frequencies, and adjusted them to my personal preference. He also used many other forms of test equipment at his disposal! The sound-stage is breathtaking, clear, warm, inviting, and definitely addicting! One would not even believe it was the same vehicle with the same speakers and amps as the sound was so vastly improved after Tony had worked on it. Yes, high end equipment can sound bad if it is not master tuned, and is the most important part of installation. He also installed the 12 inch gladen L1 pro subwoofer, beautifully molded to the shape to the back of the vehicle which is removable if necessary (wow, but love it so much no way). I had been hesitant about larger subs, but with it mixed, tuned and custom installed so beautifully, I am a believer! Dont waste money on the eight inch subs or oversized door woofers. It does not overtake my vehicle like a booming noise that you hear from other obtrusive mobster vehicles on the road! It adds a superb level of depth, width, breadth which immerses yourself, rounds out and completes the entire music signal. I listen to all kinds of music (rock, classical, jazz, pop, electronic, soul, and all nationalities). The sound does not lack for any genre or dynamic punch when needed either without dominating, or drowning out the front of the vehicle but blends perfectly. Tony not only achieved the sound that no one else in a three hour driving radius could achieve, but charged less than all the competition! He also was a pleasure getting to know as he is an excellent communicator, is not intimidating, is straightforward, non-evasive, and was never pushy about any decision that was needed for any recommendations given. He took his time getting to know my preferences, background and educated me about his testing process and every stage and option. Not only is he the best in his audiophile field in the industry of installation and tuning (which in itself is a rarity like finding a needle in a haystack and in itself is a great achievement), but he customizes any vehicle with other fabrication and talents. If it moves, or doesnt, it is transformed after Tony touches it via car, suv, boat, classic car, golf cart, sports car, you name it and he loves doing it! It was a joy seeing some of the other amazing projects he was working on. Becky, also was warm, pleasant, and helpful and fixed an issue with my car radio account setting. This experience reminded me of the good ole days. It is so comforting to know that there is still a shop that gives the highest quality service and expertise in the world, with the friendliest down home personality and atmosphere, demonstrates the utmost in integrity, and has people you cant help but love. Thank you so much Tony and Becky for making my dream a reality, being an answer to a prayer. My long wait and struggles with car audio are over, and now I love my vehicle, but thank God most of all. Avoid wasted time and money with other installers. Instead be blessed, proceed with full confidence, peace of mind, and satisfaction and go to Automods.
