I feel I was TOTALLY Ovet charged for a pkg $75. to ship. was Not a large box went to N D and it was 2 days late. Got hungup in Ill. For $75 it most certainly should be on time. Will Not use them again.

We chose Sarasota Pack and Ship because we use the iPostal1 service from PostNet and they are in the network. We have had a very positive experience in Colorado but we needed to move our business to Florida. This location was convenient to my mother, who might need to pick us mail occasionally for us. No one told us at the time but they nickel and dime you. They charge you a dollar for each piece of mail that you pickup. All of a sudden we received an email saying we were going to be charged for a letter we had picked up a month earlier. When we called, the girl on the phone was combative and demanded that we much schedule an appointment to pick up mail Huh? No, we will pick up our mail when it is convenient for us. Then she turned around and charged us $1 for an appointment for picking up our mail from a month ago. Which they apparently didnt know they did. While we are 400 miles away.The locations on Fruitville and University Parkway dont charge for letters so I would choose one of those locations. If it wasnt such a pain to change addresses, I would move to one of the other locations on principal.You know, I have always been a proponent of using small Mom & Pop businesses but it is companies like this that drive people to large chains.

I always go here for all of my shipping needs! Everyone I have encountered here is helpful, sweet, and efficient with whatever I need. This shop is certainly more pleasant than the grouchy USPS a couple of storefronts down.

Military Veterans Keep away from this business, the guy working there should have nothing to do with customer service, very rude asked me to leave and said I had an attitude. Went to send off a DHL package, when I arrived I was told to return in 30 minutes, which I did, upon my return he said I had another 45 minutes to wait. When I questioned him about the additional wait, he said dont give him no attitude and refused me service and told me dont come back The irony of it all is that above the counter theres numerous military photos of the owners family members, which I asked about and that I was a veteran too and yet I am a 20 year military veteran and I am refused service.

The quote was inaccurate and misleading and ended up costing far more than agreed. I was promised that a box would be cut down to size to fit my shipment to keep shipping rates as low as possible. Then after everything was already done, was told that the box could not be cut down and my overall cost would be an additional $45 above the maximum quoted cost. When the package arrived there was clearly room to cut the box down, they just didnt bother. Be very cautious before proceeding with this business.

I sell quite a bit of items online, and occasionally I will sell that one item where I question if it will reach its destination without damage. If you have to question its safe arrival, you probably should have it professionally packed-or you will be out that money, for the cost of replacement. I had a large computer monitor, that was traveling from Florida to Hawaii-so I dropped it off at *Sarasota Pack and Ship*, and left it up to the experts. So glad I did! It arrived in perfect condition, and really put my mind at ease. I will definitely do my future business here, when dealing with my large fragile items. This was a delightful experience at this company. I went into the company and was helped as much as possible with the big bulky boxes that I had I had first gone to the UPS Store on Bee Ridge Two Gentlemen they are not willing to help me at all. Im not real good with computers and the its a mother-daughter team in this store the daughter help me print out every label that I needed attached them for me and were just absolutely fabulous I recommend everybody to go to the store

9:10 am and not open. Should have just driven to the big store and not wasted my time. Now traffic is worse... Dont waste your time.

This place is twice the cost of the UPS Store, total rip-off! I brought in a prepackaged parcel and they told me it would be $77 via UPS Ground. I took it to the UPS Store instead, where it only cost $41.

Hi Carol, I apologize for the treatment you received while you were visiting my store. I have been an absentee owner since late 2012. It has been employee run ever since. However, I am here now most of the time and I welcome you to return and please when you do ask for me. Total RipOff I have used them in the past with no problem. I went in today to have a package shipped via Fedex. I had already packed it with bubble wrap so all they had to do was put it in a box. I said I wanted the least expensive shipping option with $300 insurance. The quoted price was $110. I said no thanks, bought a box and left. I went home, put my bubble wrapped stuff in the box, went to Fedex and it cost me $48 (including what I paid for the box). Needless to say, I wont be going back to Pack and Ship.

We LOVE Debbie and the Pack and Ship! They give great fast service, we will use them again!

Always white glove service, avoid the line at post office and pay less or same. A courtesy email reminder when a package arrives, included. Thank you Debbie!

Employees are EXTEMELY rude. One was pretty upset she had to put out her cigarette and stop talking crap about a previous customer to take my pre-labeled package. Wont be returning.
