Great location with shopping and dining option nearby.Super nice, helpful employees for the most part. Some are pushy and don’t respect customer thoughts about using a product or not. If you want specific knowledge about hair products, online comments/reviews more helpful than employees.Registers = nightmare. I stood in line for a bit, when it was my turn cashier walked off without explanation, causing even longer wait time. Register configuration makes handing your shopping basket super awkward.Parking = hassle! Especially if you need accessible parking. Only major stores seem to have the accessible parking spaces. An employee told me it’s because the shopping center designer/powers that be designate them, not the individual businesses. They didn’t have a problem buying a couple of spaces for curbside pick up though.
Came in to just ask how much a hair cut would cost, and their response was “we are closing in 6 mins”. I know you’re closing in 6 mins, why do you just assume that I wanted one right there and now? Just lost me as a customer.

I had found the workers to be a bit rude and cliquey the last few times I went in. What happened to the warm bubbly personalities that used to work here? I can’t help but feel a lil judged every time I walk in.However, hair services are wonderful and the stylists are just delightful. The only reason I keep coming back is because of the great point system offered.

Shockingly terrible experience. All around. Called your “help” line, was told a “regional” manager would get involved. Resolve, explain and apologize. That was 4 months ago. It never happened. Clearly Ulta just another terrible business like oh son many in this town. I don’t remember last time I left a positive review on Google. Sad times. Rough times. People not handling their businesses just open the door and that’s good enough. Shocking what’s going on.

Im a Platinum level shopper at Ulta and I enjoy shopping both in-store and online. There are curbside options as well which really come in handy for days when Im out with my 3- year- old grandson.The sales and specials they have are great. I love the hair event and the 21- days-of- beauty.
The workers move in slow motion at this Ulta. There could be barely anyone in the store and you will still wait 10 minutes to get checked out. They are always waiting on a manager for something or doing an online order and it takes forever. The only good thing about this store is the floor people are very helpful.

Was just in to find the perfect lip gloss for my birthday today. Got in line, was taking a long time. When the gal behind the counter started checking out people that werent even waiting in line while I was waiting for quite awhile with my baby in my arms. The lady was being quite rude barking out that there was only 3 people working today.
People here have always been helpful to me, so I come here about once or twice a month. However, the checkout experience is awful. The lines need to be optimized so that a customer who has been stuck in a line for a particular register goes before new people get in line. I have been stuck while three other people are rung up. The checkout has been this way for a long time now and Im seriously considering not going to Ulta anymore. TJ Maxx and Marshalls does not have this problem, and I can usually find what I need at those stores.
I will never shop at this ultra again! I stood in line behind a customer with an issue for 15 minutes while 4 customer service cashiers all worked to help her. When the next cashier became available, I walked to the counter, only to be told that I was waiting in the wrong line and the cashier proceeded to take someone else at the register. It was obvious to everyone that I had been standing there waiting my turn much longer than all the other customers. Since none of the customer service cashiers spoke up and took me next, I chose to leave my (over one hundred dollars) in purchases and go elsewhere for my purchases. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

ULTA, if you want loyalty and value from your points program, you should allow your customers to use them freely. Its a joke how this is administered. I have $100 in points, but I get to use $23 on my $31 purchase; GO FIGURE? This experience puts me in the category to never come back! I feel cheated than being rewarded.

Went in for one item. Wasn’t able to look at the colors of foundation powder due to everything being taped up. Why even have testers out if you can’t just see them? However, this store lost another customer due to workers only being there for a paycheck. What happen to passion? I stood there for about five minutes wondering what to do regarding the taped up testers and needing to know what color I should get. All the while, six employees were to my right talking up a storm about nothing to do with the store. I tried to wait for a chance to jump in to ask a question and a couple of them even looked at me but as soon as they were done they split up quickly and went different directions. I couldn’t believe what I witnessed. One seemed like she was possibly the manager as well. It was an unfortunate visit for sure.
I love Ulta. Its the only store I buy make up. I recommend this store for their selection and excellent customer service especially if youre trying to find make up that matches your completion
The customer service in this store is absolutely terrible. All the employees are rude. If you want a pleasurable shopping experience with employees who arent non playable characters, dont shop here.

Theyve got a great selection of beauty and skin care products. With current restrictions though, you cant sample any of the products before purchasing, so make sure to keep the original packaging and receipt in case you need to return any items that may not work out.

This received 4 out of 5 because I didnt not get the full experience of the store. I walked in and B-lined straight for the cashier to purchase a gift card. The line moved very quickly. My fiancee and my mother went here and after explicitly telling the male salesperson that she was allergic/sensitive to products and were only interested in matching very specific products proceeded to rub moisturizer into her face. When my fiancee then said that it hurt and burned, he proceeded to say that it was just peppermint and it does that and then further proceeded to rub more stuff on her. He then tried to continue selling them stuff that they had to repeatedly tell him they werent interested in. She left and came home with her face still hurting and we had to clean it repeatedly to fix it. He did not listen to them, did not respect them, we wont be back.
Ulta is always a fun place to shop and browse. I often order online but periodically I like to stop into the store to check out new products or pick up some favorites. Their rewards program is very good as you can use points toward purchases.
My favorite beauty store. I love that I can get huge name brands as well as my favorite bargain brands in the same place. The employees are extremely friendly and helpful.
Ulta lost 4 more stars due to totally closing during the week of half off sales. Online services were impossible and there was no phone customer service. I previously would have given five stars.
I liked the service I received here. The makeup girls were very helpful and showed me useful product demos for things I was interested in and ended up buying. They werent pushy at all which is the reason I prefer to shop here over Sephora. The thing I didnt like was that I purchased several cosmetic tools here and walked next door to Target just to find out that the same exact brushes were $3 cheaper there. Basically, I will only buy my high end cosmetics here and nothing else unless theres a special sale.
Gosh, can’t even count how many bad experiences I’ve had here with customer service. Not only does the manager find it more important to have a “conference call” in the back and tell me that I’ll have to come back another day to do a return (mind you I live an hour away) but her associates are absolutely miserable and have no personality or customer service skills. Today, not one person spoke to me in this store or ask if I needed assistance but my cashier Taylyn was equally as unimpressive standing with her arms crossed at the register staring at customers with an attitude. Good thing Sephora is across the road : D
Beauty in the time of covid is tough, what with a mask, and now the inability to try anything on for tone and hue. At least the employees could be more helpful in providing ant kind of guidance. Wasnt the case.

This location must survive due to being in a high traffic area, if not for that I think the abysmal customer service would have sunk the store. I consistently have a poor experience with the staff and apathetic management. The cashier today could not take being corrected and told me I was wrong, then gave me a receipt showing her error. The nearby manager spoke only to the cashier when I complained that I had tried to correct the cashier twice, and she blatantly lied and said she couldnt hear me. In the time of masks and plexiglass that might slide if I hadnt said it twice while looking her in the eye. Sephora is across the street and target or bed bath and beyond carry what you might need to avoid this location.
Really like the new pick-up lane for orders placed online. My package was ready and waiting for me. Total time in-store, about 2 minutes. No, that is not a typo, 2 minutes. Whew! Yes, Ill be using that option again.

I am 71 years old and was shopping for my 13 year old granddaughter and really didnt know what I was looking for. However, everyone there offered their assistance, spoke with my granddaughter and made my life so much easier! Great service and greatly appreciated.
Booked an appointment online with the stylist that Ive always seen. I received my confirmation and was excited to be going back. I received a call that she was not back yet (even thought I could select her with the date I chose) and that I was being booked with someone else. Um, no. I called to cancel and the lady who answered the salon pickup was RUDE beyond belief when I said I needed to cancel. If you brought back my stylist I WOULD NOT be cancelling.

And gave me a beautiful natural look that I love. I left with everything she suggested. Looking forward to looking my best for my vacation.

The cleanest & most organized Ulta Ive ever been too including the facility areas. Staff are always pleasant, many are knowledgeable, all are very helpful. I have only had one issue in the years Ive shopped this location @ UTC & it was with a flat iron product. The exchange was simple, fast & effortless, the checkout line could be a bit more streamline though as patrons often cut in between the show case towers & head to next register when open.
Nice store, very welcoming...went in and got some make up i wanted. The store is very clean and neat and the employeea are very nice and helpful. They have samples around the store. I used coupons so i got a great deal on all of my items that i purchased.
These women are completely nuts. They try to scare you about returns. They lie to you telling you that if you dont join the rewards you cant return a product, even with your receipt. This never stops at this location. The manager at this store should be fired, as she promised me that this would never happen again after giving me a $25 gift card that I used 3 months later... They are bullying people into sign for the rewards. Absolute craziness. Ill be contacting corporate about this. This is very serous.

I shop here often and have never had a bad experience, however my most recent one was great! Shanequa really spent time to help me save money and although the store was pretty busy she was very personable and didn’t seem to rush me at all. I was very happy with her customer service!

I have been to ULTA many times. Usally I help myself.This time I went with my mother for advice on what makeup she should us and the girl in the make section seemed less than impressed to help me. She was more into herself than helping my mother and I. Her attitude was horrible. Very rude! I spend alot of money in that store on a regular basis,but now I will take my business somewhere else.Your girls need customer service training!!

The staff seems to keep a positive attitude on the floor and Im always greeted. Their inventory of drug store priced makeup goes quickly, however. I really love Makeup Revolution brand, and its never fully stocked or merchandised well.

I just didnt have the help I wanted I asked someone and they disregarded my request where I said I would like to be color matched for a certain brand the guy matched me for 3 other brand ex for the one I asked for. Other than that the store is in a good spot clean and just ok
Friendly atmosphere over all. Lots of stuff to look at and lots of samplers! Only had a small issue with pricing on my items because of a sign that wasnt taken down but the associate took care of me and gave me the discount. She just seemed frustrated with me. Lots of sale items and specials going on so I will definitely be returning in the near future.

I came in on a Saturday to get an eyebrow service done and the “girl” who I had scheduled my appointment with was the most unprofessional employee. I stood around waiting for 15 minutes while her and the other waxer joked around and didn’t acknowledge me. I then looked around the store to purchase a few items and no one could seem to find what I was looking for. The line was very long although the cashier was very nice. Overall, my first experience with Ulta wasn’t the best.
The worst customer service possible. I have given this location several tries and never a good experience. The people on the floor hound you like sales people and I wouldn’t trust any of their opinions! There is a blonde that I believe is management always on the register and rude as can be! I wish I would have remembered her name. So rude!! I have other friends that have had the same issue with her. Do yourself a favor and go to another location or better yet go across the street to Sephora!
My hairdresser Kirstin is the absolute BEST! This salon is just fantastic, they are consistantly providing genuine care and expertise in hair. I can always get make up recommended and coupons are always honored!!I have been a customer for years at this location and love it!!Grateful !!

There is absolutely everything that you could possibly want, in the beauty industry, here. Most of the sales associates are helpful and polite. I didnt have the greatest experience in the salon, but part of the issue was that I was trying to do a color correction, so I cant put that all on them. I am a perks member, which means that I have to spend a certain amount of money each year, and in return I get discounts and coupons. ULTA is pricey, so its really easy to become a perks member. I do love this store, pricey or not!
I made an appointment for a hair styling via the online website (which I have used before) for my bridal shower and I received an email confirmation with the stylists name etc. When I got to the store that morning the store was not open yet. I called the store and they first said they couldnt find me in the system at all. When I said I had the email confirmation they then said that if I didnt receive a phone call confirming the appointment then the email didnt matter. I told her that the last time I went to Ultas salon I had scheduled the appointment online as well and hadnt received a phone call either, just the email and it was fine. She then said the system must have glitched and made the appointment for a time when the store isnt open yet. She also explained that while she was a hairstylist she didnt know how to do any type of up-dos and so she couldnt actually help me. I was really upset and while the woman I spoke to was nice she didnt offer me any discounts for my trouble or even an apology really. Not a good experience.

As soon as I walked through the door I felt unwanted. All the workers watched and sized me. I was being stared at the whole time as if I was going to steal something. I was looking at a palette when I overheard a worker tell another worker, “This would look good on everyone except any who is dark.” As a woman of color I was kind of shocked at her comment. I felt like it was extremely rude and unnecessary. I left the store without purchasing anything and will no longer return to this store EVER. The vibe of the store wasn’t good. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
I would start by saying, That as a guy we typically avoid these stores, however as the holidays are here it seems we must venture forth from our caves, and purchase gifts for the ladies who take care of us. All of that said I walked into Ulta a bit overwhelmed and after a few conversations i left feeling confident that the Online item I ordered would be the best fit for my fiance. Ms. Heather thank you for insight, patience, and encouragement I am sure she is going to love it. Nemu for the win. Merry Christmas. This is one of the better Ulta locations available to us in Sarasota. The store is well organized, and they always have staff around. Last time I was there, I had my brows done by Meredith. She was wonderful, and helped me get exactly what I was looking for.
I came in looking for a specific product. The manager Maureen helped me right away and applied it to my face to show me the product and find the right shade. Made me feel comfortable looking for makeup because I really dont know too much.

I have been to better Ultas where the staff is not so stuck up. As a member who is Diamond status, I am pretty upset with some of the nasty looks I get going into this Ulta. Maybe it was how dressed down I was or my ethnicity, either way completely uncalled for and not a means to give dirty looks. As a customer who is not causing ANY trouble at all and who is obviously a frequent Ulta shopper, I would think they would give more respect to their customers. There are maybe 2 people here who seem like they are actually genuinely kind and helpful. Three stars for keeping the place clean and that is it.Edit 1/11/19: Went into here recently and the staff has changed a little! Service was much better and I was thanked for being a diamond member and treated much better.
