Stopped by to try and find a bulb type threshold seal. They were helpful in trying to point me in the right direction.

Didn’t receive what I ordered. Refused to give me a refund. Don’t trust this company.

I tried to get these guys to install a new front door for me for over a year. If you ask me thats pretty forgiving even considering shutdowns for the pandemic (which started nearly six months into this endeavor). I checked in many times over that year including ordering the door twice, showing up at their office a handful of times and more phone calls than I can count with no reply back despite promises of the opposite. The lack of professionalism here is appalling.

This business is a joke. They dont call back after 13 weeks from taking my deposit. The way they do business is take your money and never call back. 13 weeks in they told me they could not get me what I ordered stained. I doubt I will ever get my money back. Turning over to Attorneys. If you give this company money, it is at high risk!

Thank you Linda & Dave for a professional experience. Recently (The Lock Up Sarasota) we had two commercial fire doors that time and elements destroyed. Thanks to Builders Door & Supply for replacing in a professional manner and adding drip caps to prevent water ruining the new doors in the future. 100% Satisfied!

I had a bad experience trying to purchase a exterior door from this company. I spoke with three different people and was told I would get a quote and spec sheet for the door but it never came. I’ll take my business else where.

Got a great deal on a hurricane front door with two side lights. Looks awesome! David & team did a good job. We had a slight hiccup with the order but they made it right and came out to switch the glass. I’d do business with them again. These guys have heart and are true to their word.

I was referred to Dave at builders door from a builder i know for a front door for my new home I was building. The price was good. The service however, was not. From the beginning, the service was slow, phone calls hardly ever returned, and Dave sounding like he just didnt know what he was doing. I ended up ordering the door anyway since that builder I know had used him. When they finished the door (they made it) the trim around the window glass was all hacked. He sent a guy out to putty the imperfections. Without getting into the details of this whole situation, I ended up giving my door a good cleaning right after I moved in prepping it for staining. Upon doing so is when I noticed so many flaws mostly color variations and a couple dark patches. I called Dave asking him if he had any of the stain spray that they use to cover up the color differences. (You can still see white from the fiberglass. Someone just did a poor job spraying all the trim around the windows) Dave said he had some and when I went there, I showed him a picture of the dark patches and asked him what happened. (Those patches are shoddy work. Nothing I did). He just got pissed off saying that I had the door for 6 months but my complaining early on didnt spark much of a different response. He instantly developed such a nasty attitude and said, Im not fixing the door unless you bring it to me! This is a heavy, impact $5,000 double door so bringing it to him is out of the question. I am attaching pictures so youll know what Im talking about but he just isnt a guy interested in repeat customers. Terrible business attitude.

We were looking for specific bi-gold doors and Save was able to order them and get them in 24 hours.

We had a great experience with Builders Door and Supply. We received friendly, professional, and quick service.We are do-it-yourselfers and decided to replace just the slab (non-impact) of the entry door on our Sarasota property, rather than buying and paying for installation of a prehung impact door (two estimates came in at ~$2000). Non-impact, pre-hung was not an option for us. I was unable to find at the box stores slab entry doors that did not come pre-mortised for hinges. Because we were replacing just the door itself, the hinge locations on the door would need to match exactly the hinge location on our current door jamb.I called the company and talked to Dave, telling him what we were looking for (I had done the research already), and he said they could get what we wanted, including style and window (lite) We stopped in and chose the glass shape and caming. While we were there, Dave called the manufacturers for exact pricing and availability. He suggested that when the items came in, we bring in the old door so they could match exactly the location of the hinges for mortising the door. We could have just measured the locations ourselves, but we decided not to chance it since it was our first entry door installation.The items arrived and were available for building within a few days, and a few days later my husband had it installed. I think it took eight days for the whole process, but it could have been quicker if we had been ready to install when the door was ready to be finished (we needed to choose a day when one of us could be home for a few hours with no front door, while the other one took the old door in). Once our old door was there, they drilled the peep hole, the bore holes (for handle and deadbolt), and they mortised the hinge recesses doing a perfect job on our new door.My husband doesnt remember the name of the door builder there who he dealt with but the man was extremely helpful with regard to tips on proper hanging, as well as installing the deadbolt, handle set, door viewer and many other tips. He did tell us that prehung doors would have been easier, but was still willing to help us with the slab.The whole process was pleasant and quick, and choosing to go with them saved us a lot of money. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.
