Florida fence has been completely unprofessional. Very unreliable and full of excuses. There work was very poor. I would not recommend them to anyone. I would have given NO stars but that is not an option.

Armando worked with us very diligently in order for our HOA to approved the fence installation. His dedication and professionalism exceeded my expectations. The price was very competitive and the installation was superb. He was detailed oriented and very observant of the parameters and made sure we were happy with the final results.

I called and spoke with Dawn about getting some help regarding my fence and residential easements. Although it turned out my property was not in their service area, she still pursued Kevin to give me a call. It was almost close of business, but Kevin returned my call right away (Im sure due to Dawns kind persistence) and patiently answered all my questions. My only disappointment in my experience with this knowledgeable company is that I dont live in Sarasota so I cant hire them!

I have used Florida Fence in the past and have always had great experiences with them in placing vinyl fencing around my previous and current home. Yesterday I contacted them to acquire materials for an additional project and they were more than accommodating while extremely pleasant and professional as always. We originally had problems after the fence was put in. We called many times and they argued that it was fine. Finally, someone came out and noticed all the mistakes (you could literally pull a post right out) its was very sloppy work. They did fix the mistakes HOWEVER since it was a sloppy fast job we are still having problems with it. The wood fence is detaching from the posts and house. We just spent over $50 at Lowes to fix it again. I am assuming, from judging after our first problems, no one will care. My husband couldve done a better job. We have now had our fence for 2 years and its still falling apart. I would definitely not recommend this company. We had a 5 foot chain link around the house and wood gates put on the side. This is our experience with this company.

I looked at several fence companies and chose Florida Fence due to their customer service over the phone and their associate who came to measure and advise me. Got a great vinyl fence for about what I expected to pay with no surprises. Travis installed it and was efficient, polite and asked questions several times to be sure it was being installed in the manner I desired. Stephanie has been very helpful over the phone and I always got a call back any time I had a question. The fence was finished today and within an hour I got a text from a neighbor complimenting me on how nice it looks. I can thoroughly recommend this fine company.

Florida Fence installed my fence a few years ago. When the gate was broken due to high winds, I called them to repair it. They came out promptly and also fixed the fence in a timely manner. The cost was very reasonable. I was so impressed as this was such a little job.

I havent had a fence installed by them but I know the family. They are hard working, honest people. If something isnt right, they work hard to please their customers. If I needed a fence, they would be the company Id hire!

They came out 10-18-17 to give an estimate. Explained time was of the essence. Estimator never followed through with providing the contract. Called the store today, 12-11-17, explained the situation to the woman that answered the phone, that I had ONLY been given an estimate and that I was in need of a fence still. She asked if I could come directly to the store to sign the contract and have the contract notarized. Drove to the location and was met by the General Manager. Tried to explain to him that time was of the essence and I kept getting excuses and delays in processing. I attempted to explain that due to the increase of coyotes and fox in my neighborhood the fence was needed. He did not seem to appreciate my concern for my pets. Explained that I was brought to his store today due to a phone conversation by one of his employees to sign the contract and then get the fence installed as soon as possible. The General Manager explained, talking over me for the third time that he would not be able to get a contract for several days. Explained that if I left his store I would also be exploring other companies. The General Manager then said goodbye. I guess that their business is good and all of the Christian items throughout the store are all for show. DO NOT GO HERE. Bad customer service from the General Manager. Merry Christmas!

Fantastic company. Jeff the salesman gave a a quote, and a diagram of what I was buying. He also showed me samples of the material and how it went together, while at my house. The installers came to the house on Friday, December 23rd, and worked their butts off. After the Christmas weekend, they came back and finished up, and the results were spectacular. I am glad I went with them.

The woman at the front desk was rude enough to make me never ever want to use this company.Your response is absolutely hilarious as the entire trip there she was trash talking your company and then thanked me for coming in to hurry things along because they obviously didnt know what they were doing, her words. Not mine. 😄 This is not the first time Ive heard terrible things about this company.

For a host of reasons we needed our fence replaced within 30 days. Understanding the urgency, Chris from Florida Fence and Gates came to our home the next day and drew up a detailed estimate and a contract on the spot, cheerfully working into early evening. He then oversaw the prompt permit application and kept us informed every step of the way. Chris could not have been more pleasant and responsive, always returning emails and phone calls with no delay. The fence installation was accomplished on time by a great crew and took only one day. Were very pleased with both the experience and the quality of the fence.

Excellent product. The fence is made & installed with every possible means of making it sturdy. My only complaint is lack clear communication & follow-through by the salesman.

Hurricane Irma delayed the removal of my old wood fence and installment of the new one, but Florida Fence stepped up after the storm passed and put a temporary fence in place due to having an exposed pool. They were able to get out a few days later and perform the job. The new fence looks excellent. I suffer from OCD, and the perfection of the angles in the wood joins is satisfying. Great job! Those 3 guys busted their butts, hope theyre paid well.

I called this company to get a quote on a large project, It was virtually impossible to speak with someone! I cant imagine what it would be like if one of their customers has a warranty issue or required a repair! Zero customer service. Crazy how hard it is to find a good company!

I recently had Florida Fence install a wood fence with gothic posts in my backyard. It is beautiful and makes my backyard look huge. The gothic posts add an elegant touch to make a wood fence look impressive. My installer, Shane, was wonderful and I cant thank him enough for how meticulous he was in installing the posts and pickets to create a seamless look. He is a true asset to Florida Fence due to his professionalism and expert knowledge of fence installations. I have to thank Bonnie in the office who became my go-to person when there was confusion over the installation date. She responded to my emails immediately and resolved the issue. At first, we hit a snag. One of the employees put us on hold. We had a big project and needed exacting detail, design and,creativity. We also wanted to install a large gate which seemed impossible to get done. Frustrated, I reached out and spoke to Management. Surprisingly, they listened. Even better, they responded. They were out to make everything right and they did. Even after, we needed an adjustment and they were out here with a team.Initially, I would have unloaded them with how we first were treated. After that call, what a shift in gears. Quality of work was ok. The caps on all of the pickets were not attached well and were blowing all over the yard. Had to have them come back to glue them on.The main reason for 2 stars is that they charge a convenience fee Yes she called it a Convenience fee for using a credit card which is a high percentage of the total job. This being said....It is illegal in the State of Florida to charge this fee. When i spoke to them about this, they still were going to charge the fee.

We had a new fence installed by Florida Fence. What a great experience it was!!! Two years ago we had a partial fence and driveway gate installed by another fence company in town. The job was terrible and the company wasn’t much help at fixing their mess. So when we decided to do the rest of our yard, we made sure we used a different fence company. We picked Florida Fence and we are glad we did! Not only did they do a fantastic job at installing, but the entire process was seamless. They maintained constant communication through emails and text messages. They even moved our driveway gate back to the proper location (fixing the mistake of the previous fence company!!!!).

Our fencing and gates were done in a timely a professional manor by Florida Fence and Gates. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants a job well done with high quality fencing that will only improve the look of your yard.

I needed to fence off the area behind my house that met up with the drainage creek but I wanted to do so without obstructing my view so I opted for 6 green vinyl so it would blend with the trees and contour to the crazy slope of my land. Everything about the process was quick and professional. They even fit me in to their schedule much sooner than anticipated. Customer service is lovely, Mike is extremely knowledgeable, but Chuck, the installer, really went above and beyond. I am just itching to run into someone somewhere who needs a fence because I just cant say enough how happy I am. Awesome job!

WOW !!! hardly know where to begin to share the positive experience my wife and i had regarding the details of our fence installation...........so why not start at the beginning - sales consultant Michael Broy came by and measured and prepared an estimate for us and we knew right away that Florida Fence would be wisest choice for our fence installation based on Michaels knowledgeable, courteous, and professional approach of our needs - my experience at the office signing paperwork was smooth and easy and Laura was a pleasure to work with and made me feel like one of the family - there was such a great and friendly atmosphere at that location. Armando promptly scheduled our fence installation which went without a hitch as Christopher Bido and his crew, Jose and Andrew did craftsman like work paying attention to every detail. we were so pleased with how much our fence enhanced the look of our property !!! and so was our backyard neighbor - so much so that we are now going to have that portion of the fence replaced. my wife and i take so much pride and joy in our home, it is our sanctuary and it is so nice to find a company that takes great pride in their work

Worst experience ever! Took them three weeks to install a gate and now, after three months, I have panels popping off and all the nails are rusty. Customer service was terrible too. Nice and helpful sales guy but the company itself is poorly run.

Andrew Babcock came to my house to look at my job, promised a price in a day or two. That was a month ago, and even after I called him again, he promised a call back with price in a day or two and never bothered to call. I guess my job is just too small, but this is completely unprofessional in every way.

I cannot fully express how thrilled I am with my new fence!!! The materials are quality.....sturdy and attractive. Being on a corner lot with a sloped yard I was concerned that the fence might look unenven and it choppy or that my active dogs may be able to escape. I could not have been more wrong!!! My fence looks beautiful and Sergio and his crew did an amazing job with the installation!!! No gaps-no escape routes-seemless flow of gates and fence......I feel like I was delivered even more than was promised and all in one day! They really listened to what I wanted and needed and surpassed my expectations 👍👍

She listened to our concerns regarding blending total privacy along the back side of our property with a more open concept fencing application to finish off the front and side areas. We really appreciated the time she spent with us, providing detailed fence options that would best suit our needs. However, this was a multi-trip process and we were provided the utmost courtesy and expert assistance by staff members at Florida Fence during each of our visits.Specifically, we had the pleasure of working with sales representative, Mr. Michael Broy. It was evident that Michael had not only a vast array of working knowledge of fence material and application, but also an aesthetic eye for how a fence project would complement the landscape design. We took Michael’s advice and went with the Buff-Tec product along the back of our property for privacy. This tied in nicely with the aluminum product we chose to complete the project.However, Murphy’s Law came into play: Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. It was not until the project was almost complete that we noticed a problem…the aluminum fence top rail was different than the one we had chosen. At this point, we knew, undoubtedly, that we had selected the best of fence companies. This was the worst fence company I ever used. I paid over two thousand dollars for a 4 foot vinyl fence to section off a smaller garden area in my yard... the work was shabby...the day after it was put in a friend of mine leaned against the fence and the top rail popped out! There are screws missing in the hardware on the gate! Their method of putting posts in the ground was to dig a hole, pour in water and concrete, then press the post down into it so I have these large mounds of concrete that ballooned above ground (high and wide) that breaks my mower blade....one of the gates opening direction makes it impossible to put a mower through it without lifting the mower up and onto two wheels and lifting it up and pivoting the mower. I am not young and this is very difficult. I called them repeatedly, OFFERING TO PAY to reverse the gates direction..I would even buy new gate posts..I was told multiple times someone would be coming out (a manager or such that lived in Venice)...he even told me to take pictures of the gate and send them to him, which I did on August 28 and I have never heard from this man or the company again.

Recently hired Florida Fence to install a wood privacy fence around my 1-acre backyard. Ended up choosing Florida Fence (a Sarasota company) even though I live in Bradenton because I couldnt get the companies located in Bradenton to call me back to offer a quote!They did a great job for me. The salesman was extremely knowledgeable, and walked that line between suggesting items that I need and just trying to get me to buy more stuff. They came out to install the fence only 4 days after we worked out the details. The install crew was awesome, I couldnt be there, but my wife said they were super-friendly.In addition to all this happiness, the actual owner of the company came out at the end of the job and made sure that everything was up to our expectations. I dont write many reviews, but when a company actually lives up to its promises, something positive deserves to be said!
