The owner was great! We got the hear about the area and eat some fresh made local ice cream. Everything was very tasty and looked good too!

Great place to stop in for excellent fudge or to die for ice cream. Its on the expensive side but you so get what you pay for. The smell before you even walk in the door is enough for you to gain 10lbs😁 but so worth just walking through.

Your ice cream is great but only having 2 employees serving ice cream while another is cleaning up when you have a line out the door is ridiculous on a Saturday night. You may only have this many employees but need to manage them better. We are waiting way too long.

Good ice cream but a little pricey

Smells amazing as you walk in. The fudge and all the chocolates look delicious. The ice cream is very yummy. Slightly overpriced, but definitely delicious and a perfect treat on those hot Sarasota afternoons.

Friendly staff, delicious ice cream. I wasn’t aware of Kilwins until we visited a couple weeks ago, it’s turning out to be a nice spot to swing by after a day at the beach. Great summer treats!

This place makes the most amazing fudge!!!!! I bought Raspberry Chocolate fudge and the French Silk fudge and it was like biting into melting heaven! You can sample the different kinds of fudge before making a selection. One slice is about half a pound, is $9, and it is worth every single penny! Its made on site as well. I have seen the guys mold the fudge on marble table tops, right in front of the people. It is fun to watch. They also have fabulous ice cream with many flavors. I have been here many time and will continue to come back many more times!!! Definitely a perfect stop after an afternoon on the beach. Or just as you stroll the circle.

Delicious smells of chocolate waft through the air for free which is a reward I look forward too when visiting. I usually buy fudge. Favorites are chocolate caramel walnut, cookies and cream and a heavenly vanilla. Yum. 😋

Excellent fudge. They have really good ice cream too. I go back every time we come to Florida to get their fudge. If this is your first visit just be forewarned that there is always a long line. It is so worth the wait though.

Great place to get ice cream & candy

Went at 9pm on a Sunday and the line was out the door. You could smell the fresh made waffle cones. A lot of selection of sweets. We recommend trying the Toasted Coconut, Sea Salt Caramel and Cake Batter ice cream flavors. It was very much worth the wait and the calories.

My husband and I stopped her after a walk in Lido beach. This is our favorite place to get treats when we are in Sarasota. This experience was great, as usual. We ordered fudge, chocolate pretzel rods, and a few other treats and then we also got ice cream. The ice cream was the best butter pecan that I have ever had. My husband got blue moon and he loved it so much. Not only does kilwins have excellent service, but their treats always satisfy. The fudge melts in your mouth! Ill always be a satisfied customer of Kilwins of st Armands. I make sure to tell locals and those that are visiting to make a stop there for some fudge!

OMG, the ice cream and candy here is beyond description. Its homemade, fresh and incredibly delicious. However, theres often a loooong line to get in and its rather expensive...but the treats are well-worth the wait and the price.

Wonderful ice cream and there is several choices of flavors. They make the waffle cones right there and they are tasty and a little expensive ($5.00 single scoop and waffle cone plus tax).They also make chocolate items and fudge. I have not tried chocolate or fudge.

This little place has been here doing business making fudge for years.The customer service is excellent and the place is really well run.The hand made fudge is absolutely delicious and a must have.If youre in this area take the time to visit this special place. Take the kids theyll love watching them make the fudge.

Toasted Coconut ice cream with hot fudge. I cant even do it justice!! Its actually so good, that Ive converted my mom and cousin, who now have a new favorite!!

Cute fudge/candy/Icecream shop. Little over priced. But you definitely get what you pay for. Very well lit, but extremely busy throughout the day. Lots of variety for people of all ages, you wont be disappointed. Closes late, very great location, cant miss it!

They have a huge array of any sweet you can imagine here. Fudge, chocolate covered twinkies, you name it. The line for ice cream was out the door (from what I’ve heard that’s the usual). However, with all the great things I’ve heard I was willing to wait for some great ice cream. The ice cream itself was ok, just about as good as any other place. The only difference was the astronomical price ($36 for 3 people). I may be returning, but this time to try the fudge.

We went to Kilwins tonight as we do every year when we come to Siesta Key for our summer vacation. We always look forward to our ice cream nights even though we need to drive about 25 minutes and often have to rush through dinner to make it before it closes. Well tonight might have just been the last time I go to Kilwins after 11 years of coming. We were in line and my son had to use the restroom really badly, which I’ve used many times in the past. We asked a man working behind the counter if my son could use the restroom because he had an emergency and we were about 25 minutes away from our condo, and he repeatedly kept saying in a sarcastic and very condescending manner, “It’s just impossible. It’s just impossible.” I repeated to him that it was an emergency and I know they have a restroom and again he looked at me very annoyed and just repeated to me that it was impossible and rolled his eyes. I was so upset at the way he spoke to me and my son that I walked out after having already been in line for about 15 minutes. There’s a way to speak to people and this man clearly has no tact in dealing with customers. We walked in next door to Tommy Bahama and the hostess immediately attended us and told my son he could absolutely use the restroom. For a town that thrives on vacationers, this man needs a lesson on how to treat them!!

Dissatisfied. The milkshakes are not made thick so if you like it like that I’d recommend to request it so. Also, staff is to hurried to actually be friendly but they are efficient. Sample before going for the item since they are pretty sweet ice creams

Best ice cream and fudge in town. Everything’s handmade.The ice cream is a little pricey but definitely worth it. You can try every taste you want to make sure you are not spending money on a taste you don’t like. Just awesome!

All the Wonderfull smells as they pump out the heavenly scent into the streets, the fudge is off the charts and the ice cream is to die for!!! Seating area is small so plan accordingly, but there are benches outside around the circle as well which helps.

Best ice cream shop in the area? Probably. Even if that area includes Tampa and beyond. I havent tried any of the dozen or so shops in the vicinity so this is just a guess. In other words, this place serves very good ice cream. My cup of maple walnut was very flavorful and creamy. Particularly after I let it start to melt just a little bit. My cup of Traverse City Cherry on my second visit was also good. At $5+ for a single scoop its not cheap. Also sells a variety of fudge, cholcolate, etc.

The rudest people in the world work here!!!! I stood at the counter for several minutes waiting for someone to help. Finally Venesa came up to and asked wait I wanted. I asked for a sample and very rudely she said “WE DON’TGIVE SAMPLES!!! In a load voice!!! I walked out of the store then walked back in and asked what her name was. So once I left the store she stormed out of the store and confronted me!!!! I explained to her she was being rude and she had no business running after me to confront me. I have to tell her I was going to call the police before she left me alone!!!!!

Wow! Excellent smooth tasting fudge in several different flavours. Tried and bought Toasted Coconut fudge. Ummmm um! Melts in you mouth. Their nut brittle is great too. Great patient service by the girl behind the fudge counter who answered a little kids question very kindly and patiently even while serving us.

Very unfortunate experience. My brother-in-law ordered his ice cream, and as they are scooping it out of the tub, a long black hair is pulled out from the mix. In horror, we watch them put it in the cone. We let the guy know of the hair and he threw the scoop out, but still used the same cone and unwashed scooper to go back into the contaminated container! Again, there is ANOTHER hair in the cone! Finally, my BIL asked for a different flavor in a cup sans hair. Despite the ordeal, they didnt even offer him his ice cream on the house. Poor experience for OK ice cream.

Ice cream was okay but there was an old lady part of the staff which treated me and my family with 0 kindness; moreover, she basically obligated my brother to leave the place and argue with me back and forward. I will suggest you to find qualified people with customer service skills to give a better image to you business especially in a tourist area like st armands circle

If you havent tried Kilwins yet, get off of your phone right now and punch the gas to get there pronto. Their flavor selection of ice creams alone is great, but when you add on top of that the fudge and other treats, this place is hands done the best. Ive been coming to this location since I was a boy. Eating ice cream while walking St. Armands is one of those experiences that is quintessential to Florida beach life. Ive never had a bad experience here and I would be surprised if I ever do.

So they have plexiglass EVERYWHERE throughout the store, but they still insist (demand) that even vaccinated customers put on a mask. Ridiculous.

Fantastic ice cream. Went on a Friday night after dinner, I was surprised that there wasnt more of a line/wait. Ice cream was great, and my kids loved watching them make candy! Makers were more than happy to answer my 3yos many questions. Lots of fun, great for the occasional treat. I only add occasional because it is on the expensive side. Two kids ice creams and two single-scoops in chocolate cones was $24 for our visit.

Overrated. There chocolate is chalky an old tasting. Got some fudge, pecan turtles, an almond clusters. Very dissatisfied.
