I’m not a big ice cream fan. But when I do get it I prefer cookie dough, which the orange octopus offers. The best part is that there was cookie dough with nearly every bite. One of the few places here that’s been consistently good.

One of our family’s favorite ice cream shops! Soo good and the smell of an authentic ice cream shop, hits you once you step inside the door! Fast, courteous, service. Reasonably priced. Always fresh ice cream. Wish they had a shop in Cincinnati! Worth it!!

We had the BEST HOT FUDGE SUNDAE WED EVER EATEN HERE!! It was a TOASTED COCONUT ICE CREAM WITH TOASTED COCONUT TOPPING AND HOT FUDGE WITH WHIPPED CREAM. WELL WORTH THE PRICE!!! Amazing! Wish we were not an hour away...actually its a good thing we ARE! Id be wanting one every month!!!

Cute little ice cream shop right next to Turtle Beach. They have a good amount of flavors to choose from, and you can also get a sundae or a milkshake. The ice cream is super creamy and you can tell it’s slow-churned. My favorites are the Sea Salt Caramel and the Gator Tracks, both of which I like to eat with a nice waffle cone. You can sit inside or enjoy the sites and sounds on one of the outdoor benches. Great place to grab a sweet treat!

This is some of the BEST ice cream anywhere. Hands down best ice cream in Siesta Key. Sea Salt Caramel flavor is a must! The kids that work there are pleasant and service is quick despite a long line. Don’t waste time with ice cream places in the village.

The flavors are rich. The waffle cones are fresh. And the prices are reasonable. One of our favorite beach week treats.

Very good ice cream at a nice clean place with excellent service. Conveniently located in a little shopping plaza. Parking can be a bit of a challenge sometimes, but totally worth it. Highly recommend this place for some good ice cream.

Our go to spot for ice cream in Sarasota when me and my wife come down to go to the beach. The ice cream is homemade and always delicious. We had their ice cream at our wedding and we could not have loved it more.

Nice to have delicious ice cream after a hot day at Turtle Beach - we only had to drive about 5 minutes to get there. Great variety of flavors and toppings, very good ice cream! Gator tracks was really good.

First off this place has the BEST ice cream on the key. Parking is often a bit of a hassle so walk if you can. My beef is about the service-guy who served me was high as a kite (not the first time-do it on ur own time buddy-lots of kids go to this place)-could not remember my order 10 seconds after I gave it. Secondly he asked for a tip-he gave me a scoop of ice cream (nothing extra) and expected a tip-outrageous.

Our little one has a medical condition that requires a restrictive, low sugar diet. Orange Octopus had a sugar-free dutch chocolate that was made with stevia - not maltitol.Ice cream had a soft, creamy texture without any weird after taste. He ate every bite of his ice cream and said it was the best he ever had. I was able to steal one bite - and it was really good for a sugar-free ice cream.

I am going back to Siesta Key on Monday and WE can not wait to go back to Orange Octopus! IT was in walking distance for us and we literally went every night last year!! It was so great!!! Lots of flavors and a fun little building with many colors!

Thid place is amazing! They make their own ice cream and won the 2019 & 2020 Sarasotas best ice cream. The flavors show you why! Soooo smooth and such great taste! Check them out and you will be happy you did!

The ice cream was AMAZING. It was a group of 7 of us and the staff was beyond helpful. She was very nice, and super efficient. Although she was alone she had the best attitude! (And wore a mask) Many flavors to choose from, must try the salted caramel, so good! The only reason I give it a 4 is because guests arent required to wear masks which made us feel uncomfortable when in line or when others got too close.

This ice cream is worth the hype! Since we moved here Ive heard great things about this place and we finally tried it out last night. My hubs, two kids and I all got different flavors and they were all really tasty. The atmosphere is super cute too,with it being off midnight pass with all the shops around it. Thay painted with the nice fl breeze makes this place a great spot for a family ice cream night

Orange Octopus has THE BEST ice cream on Siesta Key! The staff are also very friendly and efficient. For seating, there is a very clean indoor area and a few benches outside. The sea salt caramel, Superman, chocolate peanut butter, butterscotch blast, and Kentucky honey bourbon varieties are favorites of our group! This place is a gem!

We stayed in Siesta Key 10 days and finally had a chance to try this location tonight before we left. Our only regret is not visiting here more than once. The staff was amazing the freshly made ice cream was incredible. Great taste great flavor and great price we will definitely be visiting again when we go back to Siesta Key next time

The ice cream place is very quaint with a small seating area and bathroom. The ice cream was delicious. We got the Kentucky Honey Bourbon, Butterscotch Blast, and Coffee. All three were very satisfying. Highly recommend and will be back next year when on vacation.
